Foundation, exposed from Tianhe City

Chapter 11 - The Angel's Choice

Chapter 11: The Angel’s Choice

“Limb regeneration? Or restructuring of hidden data? But passing through alloy walls without any spatial energy fluctuations, it’s not the micro-wormhole teleportation technology…”

Angel Yan’s eyebrows slightly furrowed, and her eyes turned silver-white.

Insightful Vision.

A unique ability possessed by angels allows them to analyze all the data attributes of a target instantly. But no matter how she examined it, she couldn’t decipher the “shy individual.”

As for the mysterious data, she had only heard about it from Queen Kaisha before. There exists a peculiar hidden world in the universe where the data of any living being is recorded.

Even if it is destroyed in reality, accessing the data from the hidden world can achieve “rebirth.”

This technology… is called the fourth-generation Void Engine technology by Kaisha.

However, it is still in the research phase. Yet now, Angel Yan witnessed 096’s continuous regeneration firsthand.

This feeling was incredibly strange. Despite 096 displaying mediocre physical data, it could mysteriously shatter Devourer’s battle armor, traverse space, and resurrect itself.

This feeling… was like… the rules killing people.

As described in the previous text on the sky projection, anyone who triggers 096’s rules becomes the target of its pursuit.

“These Devourers aren’t weak, but they are so powerless against 096. Where did these containment subjects come from… I must relay this information to Queen Kaisha.”

Angel Yan murmured to herself, feeling a heaviness in her heart.

For the first time, she suspected this journey to Earth might not go so smoothly.

Initially, she thought she would just negotiate with Dino and Blazing Sun and, in the meantime, search for Morgana. But she didn’t expect that these strange containment subjects would likely become a huge problem that would disrupt the entire universe.

As for the Foundation, she didn’t believe they had the capability to deal with this creature.

Angel Nebula.

City of Angels.

“I have seen it, Yan. The Foundation’s live sky projections are not limited to Earth. They exist even in Angel Nebula. The entire universe will have live projections wherever there are living beings.

“What an interesting organization. Try to follow the textual hints on the sky projection, at least for now… it seems the Foundation has no intention of overturning the justice belonging to us angels.”

Queen Kaisha of the Divine Angels murmured. She was secretly communicating with Angel Yan on Earth.

This was a special communication technology exclusive to angels, with an astonishing communication distance, allowing a direct dialogue with Angel Yan on Earth.

“Understood, Queen Kesha,” responded Angel Yan solemnly through the communication channel.

“Queen! These containment subjects are too strange. It was fortunate they appeared on the Devourer battleship this time. If they appear in our Angel Nebula one day, it will surely cause a great catastrophe. We should deploy a team to eliminate them,” Angel Leng suggested.

“Queen Kesha, I don’t agree with Leng’s proposal. This 096 seems able to regenerate, and even we angels might not be able to kill it truly. But the most critical issue right now isn’t this trouble,” said Angel Ignis.

“Oh! Ignis, do you have any better suggestions?” Queen Kaisha inquired.

Angel Leng sneered, harboring some discontent as an angel who had fought alongside Queen Kaisha for thousands of years.

Ignis and Yan were both quite young, with one wielding fire and the other thunder, serving as the queen’s left and right guardians.

Angel Yan’s combat prowess was second only to Queen Kaisha, surpassing all other angels, including Leng, which was something Leng begrudgingly accepted. But Ignis, on the other hand, had weaker combat abilities compared to Yan. His strengths lie in research and analysis.

Leng believed that as members under the queen’s command, they didn’t need to think too much; they should simply execute the queen’s orders faithfully, with combat prowess being the most crucial criterion.

Leng had always aspired to become a Sacred Right Wing Angel but felt slighted when the queen chose Ignis, who was younger and less combat-oriented.

“Queen! If the writings on that scroll are correct, I believe the most important thing right now is to seal this 096 as soon as possible. We must not let its photos or images fall into the hands of malicious individuals, or it will be a constant source of trouble!” Ignis asserted confidently.

Leng, though momentarily stunned, quickly grasped the situation. She laughed, “Ignis! You underestimate the combat prowess of us angels. We are not like those trash creatures from the Abaddon. Let alone one containment entity. We can handle ten of them! Your Majesty, I request to execute this containment entity personally!”

“The Gluttons cannot be dealt with because they cannot be completely destroyed at the genetic level. On the other hand, we possess the Flame Sword, which can truly and thoroughly kill them!” Leng stepped forward with a determined expression, brimming with battle spirit.

So far, even in the face of the betrayal of the Celestial King Morgana, the angels had never experienced defeat. Since the end of the male-dominated Celestial civilization and the establishment of Kesha’s righteous order, they had been undefeated and invincible.

Angels symbolized invincibility!

Sitting high on her throne, Queen Kesha’s beautiful eyes shimmered, her flawless face devoid of emotion, as her magnetic voice filled the room. “Then, Ignis, go. Lead a team of angels to detain this containment entity 096. Remember, don’t look at its face.”
