Chapter 13: Chapter 13: Kazuki's New Burden - The Power of the Two-Tails

It had been weeks since Kazuki and Hanzo had undergone the ritual to seal the chakra of the Tailed Beasts within them. Their bodies had grown accustomed to the immense power, but there was no denying that they still had much to learn. Kazuki had learned to harness the wild, fiery chakra of the Four-Tails, Son Goku, and had come to terms with the calm yet powerful presence of the Three-Tails, Isobu. But Madara, ever the strategist, knew that in order for Kazuki to truly tap into his potential, he needed even more. And so, it was decided that Kazuki would receive yet another Tailed Beast's power—the chakra of the Two-Tails, Matatabi.

The decision to seal the Two-Tails' chakra into Kazuki was not one Madara took lightly. Kazuki had already proven his strength by managing the Four-Tails and Three-Tails' chakra, but the Two-Tails was different. Known for its fiery nature and intense passion, Matatabi's chakra was as unpredictable as it was potent. The beast was wild, more so than Son Goku or Isobu. Kazuki would need to prove his ability to control it if he were to fully harness its power.

Madara had prepared for this moment by carefully selecting the timing. Kazuki had reached a level of mastery with the Four-Tails' chakra that made him ready for the next challenge. But as the night grew darker and the moon began to rise, Madara's voice echoed through the training ground, signaling that the ritual would begin.

"Tonight, Kazuki," Madara's voice was firm and filled with authority, "you will receive the chakra of the Two-Tails, Matatabi. Its power will be yours to wield—but only if you can control it. This beast is known for its unpredictable nature. If you allow it to take over, you will lose yourself to its flame."

Kazuki, now 12 years old, stood before Madara, his heart pounding in his chest. Despite his previous encounters with immense power, the idea of controlling another Tailed Beast's chakra left him uneasy. But Madara had been his mentor for as long as he could remember. Kazuki trusted him. He had no choice but to push forward and accept the responsibility.

Hanzō stood by his side, watching his brother's trial. His own connection to the Three-Tails and One-Tail had grown stronger over the past few weeks, but he knew that Kazuki's challenge would be different. The addition of a second Tailed Beast's chakra could push Kazuki's limits in ways they hadn't yet explored. Hanzō had faith in Kazuki, but the risks of overextending were always present.

Madara began the ritual, the air growing heavier with the presence of chakra so powerful that it seemed to vibrate the very earth beneath them. He moved swiftly, drawing seals in the air with his fingers, preparing the path for the Two-Tails' chakra to be sealed inside Kazuki. As the chakra began to flow, Kazuki's body trembled, the weight of the beast's power pressing down on him.

Kazuki gritted his teeth, closing his eyes and attempting to center himself. The chakra surged into him with an intensity unlike anything he had experienced. The heat of the Four-Tails was now joined by an even fiercer fire—Matatabi's chakra was like a raging inferno, clawing at his insides, threatening to consume him from within.

"I… I can do this," Kazuki thought to himself, his hands clenched tightly at his sides as the heat built within him. He knew that if he allowed the chakra to overtake him, there would be no coming back. But he also knew that he couldn't let fear control him. He had to control the beast inside him.

His mind raced as he felt Matatabi's will begin to assert itself. Unlike Son Goku's fiery wrath, Matatabi's presence was different. It was more primal, more emotional. Kazuki could feel its pain and rage, its desire for freedom, and most of all, its need to burn everything in its path.

Kazuki focused, finding his anchor in the rhythmic pulse of the Three-Tails' chakra. Isobu's calm presence helped center him, giving him the clarity to face the storm inside him. Slowly, he reached out with his consciousness, attempting to connect with Matatabi. The beast's chakra was more erratic than the others, and Kazuki could feel its primal instincts clawing at his resolve. It would take everything he had to tame this wild force.

For what felt like an eternity, Kazuki struggled to keep his footing. His body burned with the heat of the Two-Tails' chakra as it coursed through him, but gradually, he began to sense a shift. The chaotic energy began to subside slightly, the beast's raw power slowly falling under his control. Kazuki's breathing was heavy, and sweat poured down his face, but he could feel the beast's energy turning into something more manageable.

Madara watched closely, his eyes narrowing with silent approval as Kazuki began to tap into the chakra's potential. "You're learning," Madara murmured to himself. "Good."

Kazuki opened his eyes, his irises flickering with the blue and fiery red of the chakra swirling inside him. His body trembled, but the pain had subsided somewhat, and the heat no longer felt unbearable. He could feel Matatabi's presence, both fierce and wild, but now, it was no longer a raging storm—it was a flickering flame that he could stoke and control.

"I won't let you burn everything down," Kazuki said aloud, his voice steady despite the strain. "I will learn to control you."

The beast's chakra pulsed one final time, a final test of Kazuki's will. But then, as if acknowledging Kazuki's determination, it settled within him. The wild energy began to align with his own chakra, and the Two-Tails' chakra became one with his own. Kazuki felt exhausted, his body trembling, but victorious. He had succeeded.

Madara stepped forward, placing a hand on Kazuki's shoulder. His expression was unreadable, but his eyes held a hint of pride. "Well done. The chakra of the Two-Tails is yours now. But remember, this power comes with a cost. You are responsible for what you choose to do with it."

Kazuki nodded, his breathing still heavy, but a sense of accomplishment filling him. He had taken another step toward the ultimate power that he and Hanzō both sought. With the addition of Matatabi's chakra, Kazuki was now the wielder of the Four-Tails and the Two-Tails. The path ahead would not be easy, but Kazuki felt ready. He had to be.

As the ritual ended, Kazuki and Hanzō took a moment to recover. The weight of the Tailed Beasts' chakra within them was a heavy burden, but it was also a gift—one that would define their futures as warriors. Kazuki, with the Four-Tails, the Two-Tails, and the Three-Tails, had the potential to become an unstoppable force. Hanzo, with the Three-Tails and the One-Tail, had the same opportunity. But they both knew that mastering these powers would take time, and the challenges they faced in the future would only grow more dangerous.

Later that night, as the two boys lay under the stars, Kazuki reflected on his journey. The path he walked now was fraught with danger, but it was also one of immense potential. The Tailed Beasts were now a part of him—his strength and his burden. And he would carry that burden for the rest of his life.

But Kazuki was ready. Together with Hanzō, they would forge their destiny.
