Chapter 181
Opal’s tiny body
Amber and I head to the dungeon using her cow body and my tiny one. Since her normal body is done with Marble’s friends she can just have sex with Ruby using it. I was a bit surprised that my red haired daughter didn’t ask her sister to let her have sex with the new body. Usually she is pretty persistent with trying out my new races. That reminds me, I still need to have sex with her using my hound and lofty bodies. We’ve just been so busy that it slipped my mind. My 5 raceless bodies are staying home pregnant, so I plan to at least watch them a bit and chat like usual.
Luckily that won’t get in the way of our dungeon fun. Amber needs levels in her new classes and I need practice with this tiny body. We’ll have to take a while to get to a high enough floor to be a little challenging, but I’ve been through the goblin dungeon enough times with Sapphire and Cindy to cut down the time significantly. “Wait mom, before we go in, let’s leave our outfits in one of the chests. We don’t know if we’ll be able to buy more of these and they’ll probably end up torn if we’re inside for days.” My wife suggests, and I agree with her. I heard that some younger kids do it to save on their limited credits. We’ll just be doing it to save our limited clothes.
After we get naked I’m caught in a new dilemma. I can’t stay between her breasts when they aren’t supported by clothing. While I’m thinking of a possible solution, my beautiful wife picks me up and places me on her head between the horns. “Oh this is a good spot too. Good thinking wife.” I tell her while sitting on her hair and holding her cute horns. She responds “I’ve been thinking of cute ways to carry you all day. This is what I came up with for when we’re naked.” She’s so thoughtful. I wiggle a bit on her head and she giggles.
We enter the first floor just as her elf body enters our house.
“Something smells awful out here Opal. Do you mind if I open some windows?” Snag says coming out of his room. I don’t smell anything, but tell him “Go ahead, my small undead body is in the back yard cooking. Do you think it might be me?” I can’t smell anything different about my Eidolon bodies, but I know zombies smell like dirt so I worry about that sometimes. He shakes his head while opening windows and responds “Doesn’t smell like undead, but I can’t place the smell. Why are those two getting naked?” I look over to where he’s pointing and see my daughters getting ready for sex.
“Oh, they’re about to have sex. I can ask them to be quiet about it if you want.” I tell him, remembering Cindy complaining about loud sex a few times while she was trying to concentrate on writing. He blushes and turns his eyes away from them answering “That’s alright, the windows are open, so I’ll be in my room.” I ask if he wants some company for chatting, and he agrees, so I go into his room with one of my other pregnant bodies. We don’t usually chat a lot, but I can tell he likes having me around even if we’re silent.
I turn back to my daughters as they’re about to start and hear Amber say “Woah sis, I’m not into that.” Her sister responds “Into what? I don’t understand.” Now both of my daughters seem to be acting weird. Maybe it’s that smell I can’t smell. I wonder if I’m cooking these vegetable wrong in the back yard? Amber’s cow body in the dungeon says “Mom, charm Ruby. I think she’s one of the-” I don’t wait for her to finish and cast Fertility Charm on Ruby. She freezes. This is one of the things everyone who knows agreed to. If I’m suspicious of someone, Charm doesn’t have permanent affects and isn’t that unpleasant if I don’t tell them to do weird stuff.
Citrine and Jessica both have paralyzing abilities that they’d use, Ruby has a charm skill too, and a few others who know have stuff like it. I agreed to be the target of any of those skills if someone was suspicious of me too. I order Ruby “Tell me your name.” It’s a simple order, but we already know the dops only hiss while charmed. A series of strange hisses come from what I thought was Ruby not long ago. So my next order is “Show me what you really look like.” and the thing changes into an ugly creature. I was pretty sure with the hissing, but it’s better to be careful. “Okay wife, you can kill it.” I say to Amber, and she quickly grabs the thing and takes it into the back yard. There she smashes it’s head before the charm runs out.
“You have cleaning skills don’t you wife? You could have just killed it inside.” I tell her. She responds “I forgot. These things are so annoying mom, now I have to find someone else for points.” The last part of her tone is a little whiny, but it’s kind of cute. She’s frowning so I give her a hug and ask “How did you figure it out by the way? You responded kind of weirdly out of nowhere.” She answers “Do you remember how I told you I can tell what my partner wants during sex because of my skills?” I nod since I do remember that conversation. I haven’t gotten to test it by myself yet, but I bet she’s going to be much better with her tongue when I do.
She continues “Well I was getting some really gross stuff from the monster. All it wanted was to either make me pregnant or eat me. I’m not into feeding people my limbs while they knock me up. Her reactions to other things were off too. Altogether, worst case, Ruby would have been charmed for a minute for being overly creepy.” That does sound like an odd thing to want during sex, but if someone asked me nicely and they were good at sex, I’d probably give them my arm to eat. It would just grow back anyway, and it’s kind of nice to think about someone considering me tasty.
It’s still daytime, so I can’t use my Gloaming Call to eat the body. I ask “How small do the chunks have to be for your skill to work?” She says “I think fist sized should work. I’m already naked, so I can do it this time.” I nod and thank her. Getting clothes off and on again with this big of a pregnant belly can be rude. I suppose I could have undressed my Eidolon body, but I’m using it to cook right now. My wife is already naked.
Once that’s all cleaned up, Snag sniffs and tells my body in his room “The smell seems to have gone completely now. That’s great news.” I’m sitting on his bed and watching him read, so I respond “You were probably smelling the doppelganger then. You must have a pretty good nose.” He looks a bit concerned, but then sighs and asks “You killed it then?” I nod in response and tell him how it all happened. After listening to my whole story he says “Well it’s good that one of the plans worked out. Perhaps I should take a more active role in the planning. Would you mind if I made myself useful?”
I smile and tell him “If you can help then that would be great. Like I told you before, these things are really annoying. I’m not really good with planning though, so I can get you together with Jessica or the real Ruby for that.” After nodding he goes back reading through some of the books Cindy left for him. Apparently they’re human books used for entertainment. I tried reading them one time, but I couldn’t and learning sounded like it might take a long time. Sapphire couldn’t read any of it either, so Cindy was a bit surprised when Snag could.
I wonder if I could read their screens if I saw them, or if it’s written like the books?
-POV Citrine-
Political stuff is always so boring.
I’ve been standing behind Cindy while she talks about the situation with Woodville for what feels like hours. Actually, it might have been a few hours. My other body has been flying around a lot, and I kind of lose track of time while in the air. From what I understand, this is the first major attack they’ve gotten from one of the Slaver cities nearby, and she only did it because she thought it would be easy. Well it might have been if we weren’t here. I can’t believe I met that bitch in this new life of mine.
Karli the Thorn was always causing issues for towns she showed up in. I recognized her voice and skill almost right away. I remember hearing that she was the leader of a few settlements, but got lazy and cultists wrecked the place. She got away and became a thorn in the side of anyone in power where she showed up. I only met her personally once before she got executed by an elf settlement. It was not a pleasant experience for the people of my last life’s hometown. Well, that was last time around. This time I’ll make sure she never makes it that far.
I should see if Jessica has any maps from Canton, but once I know where my hometown is, I won’t have a good excuse not to visit. Not wanting to go isn’t a good excuse right? I sigh and push the thought out of my head for the thousandth time since being reborn. With the doppelgangers and Slavers I have plenty of good excuses right now. “How many 6th and 7th tiers do you think these slave cities have defending them?” Cindy asks, and the guard captain responds while pointing to one of the towns on the roughly drawn map “Jura has two 6th tier leaders, while the other two cities should have three or four. Having a 7th tier would be ridiculous. We don’t even have one from the experience boost we get for picking Rise Up.”
I smile, since that means these slaver cities should be fairly easy to deal with if they don’t band together. Even at half stats, a 7th tier can at least fight evenly with a 6th. If they don’t have someone with a ridiculous class like the one who put mom to sleep, she should mow over them. Amber, who’s more focused on one on one combat like me could easily take out their leadership. That’s not taking into account the many other 7th tiers we have in the family. I’m still working on getting 6th in all of my classes, but my wings gave me an interesting advantage in the last fight we had with slavers.
We’ll have to see if there are any 7th tiers in Onyx’s group of people who picked the other options. I know the ones here in Woodville haven’t managed, but they don’t have Mom’s massive boost for the inhabitants of Opal’s Home and Barrier. “We can definitely get rid of the slaver leadership for you. None of us want people like that in charge anywhere near us. We would want ownership of one of the cities. That won’t be an issue will it?” Cindy says after looking over the map a bit.
I can hear Garret their leader sucking in his breath before answering “You can really take them all out, and you don’t want all of them?” I decide to speak up saying “No, and you shouldn’t either. The zombie hordes are only going to get worse, and the more places you have to defend, the more spread out your forces will be.” The guard captain Jenny nods and Cindy adds “We want one of them out here for trade and other reasons. After hearing from you, I believe I can tell you this confidently.” She then pauses and glances at me before continuing “We are led to believe that travel between cities will be much easier once enough people start getting 6th and 7th tier mage classes.”
I’m not sure Cindy bought my genetic memories of a teleportation mage excuse, but my last life is extremely personal. I just don’t know her well enough yet for that. If we don’t have people with the classes yet, we should soon. So I ended up giving the information to Cindy, Ruby and Jessica under the guise of genetic memories. I really wish more of the information from my last life was actually useful, but the Scenario with zombies is very different than the cultists from last time. I was just someone who fought to survive. I wasn’t a leader or someone who planned. So other than making sure they know it’s just going to get worse, my knowledge seems worthless.
Well, I can at least wipe a bitch like Karli out before she gets more people killed… Okay, I can get mom or Amber to get rid of her. I was only unaffected by her charm because of how it worked. Garret isn’t my leader after all. The rest of the meeting seems to go fairly smoothly, with one exception “Why do you want to capture the lower tier slavers? Why don’t you just kill them?” One of the Woodville people asks Cindy. Why do so many people get bloodthirsty for people who were probably just forced into it? I answer for her “We have younger elves who didn’t understand the message when born and picked Suppress. Canton had a Prison structure built before we took it over and we’re using it to hold those slavers that aren’t dangerous. This gives those who picked the option points towards a reward once this is over… We don’t plan on keeping people locked up after the event who have shown sincerity in change.”
I can tell some of them look ashamed for not giving the option to slavers they probably ran into. I don’t judge them though. Without a secure way to hold them, we probably would have done the same. I think mom’s trust in people was the real reason everyone went with her plan though. Opal doesn’t realize the effect she has on all her kids.
-POV End-
