Fate/Lust break

Chapter 31: Kadoc morning

"The early is the Morning of the savour, as the to sleep long is the sin of lazyness

Kadoc just smacked his alarm clock as loomed at it. "Did I have to lose that stupid alarm clock to Ritsuka"

Kadoc sigehd remebr the bet, the bet was that if one then loose they have to buy an alarm clock that says something from the Bible, the bet was made in shadow which Kadoc thought he was going to win but Ritsuka just had to summond a real servant

"Does that alarm clock have to be this long".

Kadoc looked at who it was it was the leader of team A. "Good morning to you as will Kirshtaria".

Kadoc then looked at his shadow servant as she giggled at him and how his day always starts

Kadoc groaned as he smacked the alarm clock. It was an elaborate contraption with a voice that recited Bible verses every morning—a punishment for losing a bet to Ritsuka. He remembered the bet clearly: if he lost, he had to endure a morning wake-up call that was anything but ordinary. The clock blared its message again, "The early bird catches the worm, while laziness is the sin of sloth." Kadoc rolled his eyes.

"It's not just an alarm clock, Kadoc," Kirshtaria said, appearing by his side. "It's a lesson in humility."

Kadoc sighed, rubbing his eyes. "Does it have to be this long? I can't even hit snooze without it quoting the Bible."

Kirshtaria chuckled. "That's the point. It's supposed to remind you of your loss."

Kadoc glanced at his shadow servant, who was quietly giggling at his predicament. She had a mischievous streak, and her amusement at his discomfort was no surprise. "Good morning to you too," Kadoc grumbled, though he couldn't help but smile at the camaraderie.

The day had started with a touch of annoyance, but he knew it would get better. With Kirshtaria by his side and his shadow servant's support, he would face whatever came next with renewed resolve. The morning's annoyance was a small price to pay for the camaraderie and lessons learned.

Kadoc then looked at the resident dad of reb group Pepe, he got up early and came back from training with him was Daybit, Kadoc had wonder if there was something between but he didn't care, he got brushed his teeth and left to get lunch before moring training

Kadoc entered the kitchen, rubbing the last remnants of sleep from his eyes. He spotted his best friend, Ritsuka, sitting at the table with Mash and Morgan. They were deep in conversation, laughing about something that had happened earlier. Kadoc's gaze lingered on them, and he couldn't help but notice the subtle presence of someone he couldn't see, a feeling that had been nagging at him recently.

Ritsuka's charm was undeniable, as always, drawing admiration from everyone, including Kadoc. The way he interacted with Mash and Morgan, both of whom seemed to look up to him, was something Kadoc found both fascinating and a bit envy-inducing. He could sense there was more to the dynamic, something he couldn't quite place.

As Kadoc moved closer to the group, he felt a faint, almost imperceptible presence beside Ritsuka. It was an odd sensation, as if someone was there but just out of sight. In reality, Kama was indeed by Ritsuka's side, invisible to everyone except Ritsuka and Morgan. Kama's eyes briefly met Kadoc's, but she remained indifferent, knowing he couldn't see her.

Kadoc grabbed a plate and served himself breakfast while glancing occasionally at Ritsuka and his companions. He tried to shake off the odd feeling of being watched, focusing instead on his morning meal and the upcoming training session.

Ritsuka then looked at Kadoc. "Oh good morning Kadoc".

Kadoc snapped out of his thoughts and turned his attention to Ritsuka, who greeted him with a friendly smile.

"Morning, Ritsuka," Kadoc replied, trying to sound casual. He walked over to join the group, grabbing a cup of coffee. "I see you've got quite the morning crowd here."

Ritsuka chuckled. "Yeah, just another typical start to the day. You know, breakfast with friends and a bit of planning for the day ahead."

Mash, sitting beside Ritsuka, nodded in agreement. "Good morning, Kadoc. We were just discussing the training schedule for today."

Morgan, ever the graceful presence, added with a warm smile, "Good to see you up early. Did you sleep well?"

Kadoc nodded, though his mind was still partially preoccupied with the strange feeling he'd had earlier. "Yeah, I did. Just trying to shake off a bit of a weird start to the day."

Ritsuka raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Weird start? Anything in particular on your mind?"

Kadoc hesitated for a moment, then shook his head. "Nothing too major. Just a lingering feeling, like I'm being watched. Probably just my imagination."

Morgan glanced around but said nothing, her eyes betraying a hint of curiosity. The group continued their breakfast, and Kadoc did his best to push the odd feeling aside, focusing on enjoying the company and the start of a new day.

Ophelia then came. "Can I seat here".

Ritsuka just looked at Ophelia. "Sure why not"

As then Olga came to seat as weill, then it came through thing hates most about his time in Chaldea the daily fight of who gets to seat with Ritsuka, as one by one all the girls starts arguing his hand was grabbed by his shadow Servants and another girl who was the 48th Master candidate her name was Gudako and the reason why Ritsuka room was next to team A as he was dragged to safety as saw many thung flying, he just hope Morgan didn't use her Noble phatasam today, last time Chaldea was fully destroyed because one girl got two close to her husband (Ritsuka), ane yeat that still didn't stop anyone

As Kadoc was dragged to safety he just looked at Gudako. "Thanks and I am suprise your not into Ritsuka".

Gudako gave a small, amused smile as she helped Kadoc away from the chaos. "Well, I'm not exactly here to compete for Ritsuka's attention. I'm more of a bystander in this grand spectacle."

Kadoc raised an eyebrow. "So, you're just here to enjoy the show?"

Gudako shrugged. "In a way. I've seen this happen many times. It's always a bit chaotic, but it's part of what makes things interesting around here."

Kadoc chuckled. "I can't argue with that. It's certainly never dull."

As the two watched from a safer distance, the commotion at the breakfast table continued. Olga and Ophelia, along with the other girls, were engaged in a lively debate over seating arrangements, with various flying objects and animated discussions adding to the chaos.

Kadoc glanced at Gudako. "So, what brings you here this morning, if not to join the melee?"

Gudako's expression grew thoughtful. "Just needed a break from the usual duties. Plus, it's always nice to chat with someone who isn't part of the daily drama."

Kadoc nodded in agreement. "Fair enough. It's nice to have a moment of calm amidst all the chaos."

As they observed the scene, Kadoc couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie with Gudako. Despite the usual upheaval, there was something reassuring about the shared experience of navigating the often chaotic world of Chaldea.

Gudako then looked at Kadoc Shadow servant. "And what is her deal, why does she look like she is galring icy death on me"

Kadoc just looked at his shadow servant and srugged. "Don't know she has lately been getting a lot of personality, it looks Da Vinci theory of Shade Servant eventually become real servant from the throne is spot on".

Gudako eyed the shadow servant with a mix of curiosity and unease. "She certainly has an intimidating presence. I suppose it's intriguing that she's showing more personality."

Kadoc nodded. "Yeah, Da Vinci's theory seems to be holding true. These shadow servants are starting to develop traits and behaviors of their own. It's like they're evolving from mere shadows into something more... real."

Gudako chuckled lightly. "That sounds both fascinating and a little unsettling. It's like they're stepping out of the shadows and becoming their own entities."

Kadoc agreed. "Exactly. It's not something we see every day, and it makes you wonder about the potential of these servants in the future."

Just then, the chaos at the breakfast table reached a new level, with Olga and Ophelia now arguing over a particularly coveted seat. Kadoc and Gudako exchanged amused glances.

Gudako shook her head with a smile. "I guess some things never change, no matter how much the servants evolve."

Kadoc laughed. "True. At least some constants remain amidst all the changes."

As the commotion continued, Kadoc and Gudako remained safely on the sidelines, watching the spectacle unfold with a newfound appreciation for the dynamic and evolving nature of their world.

After that he was called in by Da Vinci as she looked at Kadoc

Kadoc just looked at the servant/Scientist of Chaldea. "Why did you call me Da Vinci".

Da Vinci smiled and looked at him. "Simple Kadoc we have monitoring all the master candidate with high rank shadow Servants, your not the only one that shadow servant we managed to find the identity of, yours shadow seemed to be a Russian

Kadoc faces turned red, he looked at his shadow it was clear he had thing for Russian girl and his shadow servent was a girl. "Um may I know who you guys found what heroic spirit".

Da Vinci smirked him. "We have a few match but the top one is, will first tell do you know about Anastasia".

Da Vinci smirked him. "We have a few match but the top one is, will first tell do you know about Anastasia".

Kadoc's eyes widened at the mention of Anastasia. "Anastasia? The Tsaritsa wife's or the other one? Yes, I know about her. Why?"

Da Vinci's smirk widened. "It seems your shadow servant shares a strong connection with her. Based on our research, the most likely identity of your shadow is Anastasia's spirit, or at least a fragment of her essence. It's a rare occurrence, but it aligns with the profile of the shadow servant we've identified."

Kadoc's face turned even redder, his mind racing. "So, you're saying my shadow servant might be connected to Anastasia herself?"

Da Vinci nodded. "Exactly. It's a significant find. Given the nature of shadow servants and their connection to heroic spirits, it's possible that your shadow is not just a mere projection but has a deep link to the historical figure."

Kadoc glanced at his shadow servant, who looked back at him with an unreadable expression. "This is... unexpected. I never imagined my shadow servant would be tied to someone of Anastasia's stature."

Da Vinci chuckled. "Life in Chaldea is full of surprises. You should consider this an opportunity to learn more about your shadow servant and her true nature. It might give you a unique edge in your journey."

Kadoc nodded, processing the information. "Thank you, Da Vinci. I'll take this into account."

Da Vinci smiled warmly. "Good. If you need any further assistance or have more questions, feel free to ask. And remember, the connection between you and your shadow could lead to new discoveries."

Kadoc looked at Da Vinci. "But there is one big Question, which one is she".

Da Vinci looked at him. "Pardon".

Kadoc just looked at her. "Russia has two popular girls with that names, each with legends famous enough to go to the throne so which one is my shadow servant"

Da Vinci sigehd and looked at him. "We done know".

Kadoc frowned, clearly concerned. "So you're telling me we have a connection to Anastasia, but you don't know whether it's Anastasia Romanov or Anastasia Nikolaevna?"

Da Vinci nodded. "Exactly. Both are prominent figures with significant historical and mythical importance. We've established a connection, but pinpointing whether it's Romanov or Nikolaevna is still under investigation. The traits and behavior of your shadow servant might give us more clues."

Kadoc sighed. "That makes sense. I'll keep an eye out for any indications that might help us figure out which Anastasia it is. Thank you for the information, Da Vinci."

Da Vinci smiled sympathetically. "I understand it's a lot to take in, but discovering your shadow servant's true identity could be crucial. If you gather any additional information or if your shadow servant shows any unique traits, please let us know. It could help narrow down the possibilities."

Kadoc nodded and left Da Vinci's office, his mind racing with the implications of the new information. The mystery of his shadow servant's identity added a layer of complexity to his duties, and he was determined to uncover the truth.

Kadoc after walking he rerun to the crypter join room, he was alone Akuta was probably in the liberal, Daybut was doing what ever he wanted, Ophelia was probably pinning over Ritsuka, Kirschtaria training or talking to Olga, as for Pepe and Beryl he has no ideas for those two, maybe he should go to traing

Kadoc them looked at his shadow servent. "You starting to become more human, but your can't talk".

Kadoc sighed but then he hurd and truend his head to Anastasia his shadow servant

Anastasia looked at Kadoc before she spoke. "Ka...d..oc"

Kadoc was stupid fied, his shadow servent just spoke even if it was just his name and it was broke. "Did you just speak"

Anastasia nodded slightly, her form still shrouded in shadows but more defined than before. Her pale, ethereal features became slightly clearer as she attempted to speak again. "Ka...do...c," she repeated, the words strained and slow, but unmistakably coming from her.

Kadoc stared at her in disbelief. "You... you really spoke." He couldn't believe what he was hearing. Da Vinci's theory about shadow servants gaining more personality and potentially becoming real servants seemed to be unfolding right before his eyes. "How... how is this possible?"

Anastasia's eyes, still a mix of shadows and emerging clarity, met his. She opened her mouth again, trying to form more words, but it was clear she was struggling. "An...a...sta...sia," she managed to say, her voice barely more than a whisper.

Kadoc's heart raced as he pieced it together. "Anastasia... So, you're trying to tell me your name? Are you really Anastasia Romanov... or Nikolaevna?"

Anastasia didn't respond with words, but there was a faint, sorrowful expression on her face that hinted at the answer. It was as if she wanted to communicate more, but couldn't—at least not yet.

Kadoc felt a surge of protective instinct toward his shadow servant. "Don't worry," he said softly, trying to reassure her. "We'll figure this out together. Whether you're Romanov or Nikolaevna... it doesn't matter. I'll help you."

Anastasia's form seemed to flicker, almost as if she was responding to his words. Kadoc wasn't sure what the future held, but he knew one thing: his bond with his shadow servant was growing, and he was determined to uncover her true identity and help her in whatever way he could.
