My name is Laxus Dreyar the grandson of Makarov Dreyar the third-generation Guild master of fairy tail. I am also the great-grandson of Yuri Dreyar one of the founders of Fairy Tail. My life was supposed to be one similar to that of a prince as I have all the talent and background to hold my head high. But now I the great Laxus is actually doing a side-kick job.

" Hey, Laxus why the hell are you daydreaming about? Pass me that hammer quickly? I can't hold this forever., " Akira scolded Laxus who was in a trance for a while now.

" Huh here " Laxus reflexively did what he was told and gave Akira the hammer. But then he suddenly realized what he had done and asked angrily, "Wait why the hell do I even have to obey your orders? "

Akira looked at him blankly and asked, " Then do you know how to fix this damn wall? "

" Huh, no " Laxus answered, " then stop talking nonsense and help me fix it. " Akira scolded him again as he went back hammering the nails.

Thankfully he has some past experiences with fixing some stuff in the orphanage. Or else he would truly be at a loss for words.

" But why should I help when I didn't break anything?" Laxus muttered in a quiet voice.

But Akira who heard him interjected, "Well then go ask your cheap grandfather who is counting his money over there. That geezers even took away some of my own money as payment for the wood that he supplied. " he said the last part with a bit of annoyance.

Makarov first forced him to agree to build the broken wall and then charged money for the missing wood that he said was bought by him some time ago. Who is he kidding those wood panels were obviously something that was stored in the storehouse as there were some signs of it being old. Maybe these were some extras that were left when the guild was built.

Although Laxus wanted to start a fight with Akira for insulting his grandfather. But after thinking about it for a moment he decided against it. After all, he himself very much agreed with those words. His grandfather is indeed very cheap when it comes to money.

While the kids were badmouthing their guild president the man in question was having a few tick marks on his face as he sat on the bar counter. He was considering whether to go there and teach those two some manners when the guild door opened and Sera walked/flew out.

" Oh hey Sera, how did the mission go " Makarov asked as she came near him.

" Very eventful " she replied with a small smile. She then handed the mission complete form to Makarov. Her mission was to kill a magical beast that was causing trouble near Magnolia. The tricky part of this mission is that the client asked for the materials to be not damaged.

The client was a local nobleman who wanted to craft a dagger from a Bloody Tiger claw. And when he heard one of those tigers were causing trouble in his territory he issued a mission.

Whether his intention was to help the people or simply for the fact of wanting the claws of the Bloody Tiger is a mystery.

" Good job, " Makarov said as he finished reading the report. Thankfully Sera, unlike others, didn't cause any property damage.

Sera nodded and looked at Akira and Laxus who were still repairing the wall and asked in confusion, "What are they doing? "

Makarov gave the two kids a side eye and said, " They are just reaping what they sow. Due to their fight, the guild wall was damaged so I ordered these two to fix it as a punishment. "

" Hmm a fight that's rare, " Sera said with a bit of surprise. Akira was always a bit more mature than his age so she didn't think he would pick a fight for no reason.

" Hmm yeah kids these days they fight over every small detail," Makarov said trying to act wise but failing miserably due to his stupid getup.

" So who won? " Sera asked, not taking Makarov's words seriously. If he really wanted to act like a grown up then he should stop everyone from fighting. After all, if Makarov was really against fighting then there is no way anyone in Fairy Tail could fight.

" Akira won, " Makarov said, sighing after seeing Sera was not impressed with his acting.

" And I like to ask you, did you teach Akira any magic these few days? " Makarov asked suddenly as he looked at Sera seriously.

" No, why did he use different types of magic in the fight?" Sera asked jokingly to which Makarov nodded.

" Wait really," Sera asked seriously. She then looked towards Akira with a look of disbelief and admiration. ' As expected of the mistress's son he perfectly inherited her magical talent ' she thought.

" So he learned all those magic spells all by himself huh " Makarov said as he sighed. Although he expected this he still wished his hypothesis is wrong.

Although having a talented kid in his guild is good, having too much talent is just asking for trouble. Especially for a guild like Fairy Tail who has many enemies.

' it seems I would have to ask that senior for help just in case something bad happened ' Makarov. He would never gamble the lives of his guild members due to his overconfidence.

He treats every single member as his family so how could ever think of gambling the lives of his family members?

" Guild master, did you find what I asked you for " Sera suddenly asked, making Makarov come back to reality.

" Oh yes, here you go, " Makarov said as he took a piece of paper from the drawer and handed it to Sera.

" This is the list of houses that are on sale near the guild. You should take a look at them when you have time. Although most of the owners wouldn't drop the price if you use my name they may give you a discount " Makarov said with a thumbs up.

" I see I will keep that in mind president," Sera said as she bowed her head like a maid would do.

She then walked towards where Akira and Laxus were. They had already finished fixing the wall and were tidying up the place.

" Oh hey Sera, welcome back, " Akira noticed Sera immediately and greeted her with a smile. " What's that in your hand" he asked as if he had no idea already.

" Oh this, it's a list of houses that are for sale. I was about to take a look at them after eating lunch do you want to come with me " Sera asked as she looked at Akira.

" Hmm sure " Akira nodded after thinking about it for a bit. He then turned to Laxus and asked, " Say Laxus why don't you join us? We are still not that familiar with Magnolia after all "

" Huh me, " Laxus asked in surprise as he pointed to himself. No one had ever asked for help from him.

Akira nodded while rolling his eyes said ," Of course unless there is another Laxus in this guild "

" Oh okay. If you beg me this much I will have no choice but to help you " Laxus said while still being the tsundere.

Akira gave Laxus a disgusted look while saying, "Eww gross Laxus you really need to stop acting like a tsundere. You aren't a girl so it's not very cute "

" Why you little, " Laxus flared up as he looked at Akira in anger.

" What do you want your butt kicked again? " Akira also didn't back down as he rolled up his sleeve.

"Now now kids be nice, " Sera said with a sweet smile as she held the shoulders of the two of them. Although Sera's smile was very sweet both Laxus and Akira had cold sweat flowing down their backs as they looked at Sera with terrified expressions. They could practically see a phantom of an Oni appearing behind Sera as she said those words.

"Yes, mam " Both Laxus and Akira replied like shoulders as they saluted. They didn't dare to disobey her at this moment. Even Akira didn't dare to say anything as even he hadn't seen this side of her at all.

"Good," Sera nodded, and the oppressive aura vanished, allowing them to breathe a sigh of relief.

"Now then, let's go eat lunch. We'll need all the energy we can get this afternoon," Sera said, as she led the duo along, who didn't dare to resist.
