Bosco. 7 July X777.

For the past week, Eros had felt like he was out of place. Even Urthir, who had grown accustomed to him over the year, felt a slight uneasiness for the titan. These days, he had been very lethargic, hardly taking any work and just sitting on the veranda, looking up at the sky. And today was no exception. She tried many ways to cheer him up, but he paid no attention.

Over the year, she'd grown attached to the silly guy, even though he sometimes acted like a jerk and didn't pay attention to her. For the first time she could feel safe and live without worrying about being killed, and it was all thanks to Eros. And she was very grateful to him, even if she didn't express it in any way. She didn't realise how she had trusted him, as she had been betrayed so many times before....

"Why... What's wrong with me, I just don't feel like doing anything, it's not like me, and this fatigue and apathy..." she thought with a slight annoyance.- Eros thought with a slight annoyance, paying attention to a sorceress who was watching him from the corner, - "Yes, and I never thought that this flighty girl would be worried about me... And it's really nice..."- The titan's gaze was directed at the dark clouds that covered the sky.

At that moment it started to rain, which was gaining momentum by the second, until it turned into a real downpour with a thunderstorm. Which made it even more depressing.Eros closed his eyes and listened to the sounds of rain while thinking about something of his own... Old... Forgotten... Urtir, who sat on the stairs and watched the figure of the guy, did not notice how she fell asleep.... She had a dream, she saw her mum, who on the same rainy day, was hugging and holding her, comforting her... For a moment, she felt a slight chill... But after a second it disappeared and a smile appeared on her face....

Not thirty minutes later, her eyes opened abruptly and jumping up, a small plaid fell off her. Eros was standing in front of her, frowning, staring out the window.

- Did you feel it?

- Yes...

- Time Magic and... Star Spirits Magic... Who could have created such a powerful spell that even these places had a wave of magical power? - Though Eros said it, he actually had a guess, though no, he was sure that only one woman was capable of it.

- You were able to feel it too...? - Urtir said in surprise, looking at the plaid on the floor and at Eros looking out the window... A slight blush appeared on her face, which she quickly concealed.

- I'm very sensitive to magical power, and this was just too bright.

- Any guesses?

- Yes.

- What was it?

- Most likely some powerful time-related artefact, because a mere human could never do such a thing," "Or rather a gate that can open doors to the past... The Eclipse Gate... Who do you want to summon at this time, eh Leila?"

He stared out the window for another long moment....

A week had passed since that day and everything was back to normal. Eros continued his work, gradually improving his skills. During this year, he learnt to put as many as four runes on one object, as well as gained experience with which the titan was able to draw almost all the runes that he learned about when he visited the Celestial Tower.

Eros also improved his knowledge of Artefacting. Still, on weekends he didn't work on runes, but devoted himself entirely to making artefacts, and it was a good thing that he had precious money to buy materials. Also, the memory of the demon, who was very good in this direction, was a good help. So it was much easier for Eros to understand the artefacts.

Even though he hadn't absorbed all the memory yet, Eros had already got a lot out of it, especially a lot of information on all sorts of dark rituals and similar artefacts. It was from the demon's memory that the titan learned about the artefact that could be used to recreate Ur's body. And he was left to absorb only 15% of the memory, which contained the most important information, because this part was very slow.

Urthir became something like his secretary, who communicated with customers and gave him orders. And during this time he got along well with her, at least in her eyes there was no more intent to kill, and there was trust, which Eros had earned with difficulty. And getting a girl who trusts no one to trust you was quite a feat.

On the table in front of Eros lay a beautiful sharp blade, the hilt of which was in the shape of a dragon's head, with two jewels inlaid in the eyes. The blade itself, was very thin, but strong and sharp.

"Horrible, a whole year I had to wait... Realistically, it was easier to just steal this thing from the duke than trying to get his attention!"- today Eros received an order from the head of the city. It was required to apply three basic runes, increasing the strength, sharpness and reducing the weight of the blade. After all, the blade weighed almost fifty kilograms and the reason for this was the enchanted steel blade, which is one of the best materials for creating blades, but also the heaviest.

As Eros was about to begin his work, he froze, for a small black case appeared before him, hanging in the air at eye level.

- What is it? - asked Urthir, who had entered the workshop with a new order.

- Now you will find out... - with a slight smile on his lips, the titan took the case in his hand and opened it... - Two? - he took out two golden keys, the first was of Virgo and the second of Capricorn.

- Two gold keys?

- Yes... - Eros frowned, he took the key in his hand and mentally called out to Virgo, he didn't have to wait a second, a golden magic circle lit up in front of him and a spirit appeared in the place of the circle.

- I am glad to see you again, Mr Eros, - bowed and said the girl.

- So you are also a star-spirit mage?!

- I'll explain later," Eros waved his hand and concentrated his gaze on the Maiden, "Tell me, how was the opening of the gate?

For a moment there was a look of surprise in the spirit's eyes.

- It was a success.

- That's how... Okay, I won't ask for details, but tell me one thing, what about Leila?

- Miss Leila... is dead.

The next moment, a terrible pressure descended on the whole house, pinning both of them to the ground, but as it came, it quickly disappeared.

- Fool... You're such a fool! I told you to be careful! And now you're dead and you've left your daughter motherless!

- I apologise, Mr Eros. Punish me?

- What are you apologising for, and why should I punish you? I didn't even think she could die, because I thought she was a clever woman... And she turned out to be a common fool....

- Eros.

- Oh... I'm sorry Urtar," the titan said in a guilty voice, looking at the girl who was rubbing her reddened nose, she must have bumped it when Eros lost control of his magic power for a moment.

- Nothing.

- Maiden, what were her last words?

- She asked me to tell you to give the Capricorn key to Lucy when she grows up and to thank you for your help.

- No... She's a fool! To entrust such a thing to someone she's only known for a week!

- Sir.

- Eros.

- Let me be alone please, I need to think this over..." - Eros covered his eyes and looked out the window again, "Who did you summon Leila and for what purpose?"

***

Eros sat in the workshop until the evening, but he still couldn't figure out why or who she had summoned at this time. If Leila had used such a powerful artefact, then the target she wanted to defeat must be very powerful and the only two people that came to mind were Acnologia and Zeref, then the other question was who she had summoned at this time and would this powerful duo become a trio?

Just thinking about it sent goosebumps down his spine and only one thought appeared in his mind... "We need to get stronger and as fast as possible! After all, if even one pays attention to me, nothing will save me!" Of course, Eros doubted that the one Leila had summoned could be a villain, but still the titan wanted to prepare for anything, even the most delusional. That was why he was studying artefacting, because he had long ago had one idea on how to get an infinite amount of magical power.

- Still, I'm going to have to speed things up a bit....
