During the Dark Ages

*Graaahhh*

Hans roared loudly as flames spread outwardly from his body incinerating thev tentacle and melting the surrounding debris.

"Tch." Alice clicked her tongue as her [Shadow Cloak] wore off and she was revealed...and standing beside me. The fire cleared revealing Hans who was panting heavily and kneeling on one knee.

'He's at his limit.' I thought seeing his current state, Alice must have thought the same thing as well as she charged at him with murderous intent. She swung her sword at his head but he dodged it and she kept up her assault. After not getting any result after swinging her sword so much she summoned a Shadow hand that grabbed his only remaining hand giving him no chance to escape. As she swung her sword down ready to finish him off I saw a smirk on his face and knew something was. Suddenly from his hand stump a stream of flames burst out hitting Alice at point blank forcing her to retreat. When Alice came back to my side she had severe burns all over her body and although they were healing I could feel rage brewing in my heart. I charged at him with my fist a flame with my rage and hell fire, I punched at his face and he crossed his arms but I changed my punch to a grab and grabbed both his hands. Then I punched him in the stomach causing him to cough up blood but I wasn't done.

I released released my grip on him and spun around and kicked him in the stomach sending him flying. Then I created a fireball, channelled my aura into it and fired it after him causing a large explosion to occur. I frowned as I looked at the aftermath of the explosion the reason being even all the damage I did to him...he was still alive.

"Fine then, this should finish you off." I said as I created another aura enhanced fireball but before I could fire it, I sensed a large amount of demonic energy heading my way. I immediately jumped out of my way and the spot where I was just standing was assaulted by arrows fireballs causing it to explode. As the smoke cleared I saw the twenty three Greater imps from Hans camp and they looked pissed.

"Lord Hans are you alright?" Asked one of the female Greater imps I saw in his tent.

"I'll be fine." He replied as he got out of the crater he was in. I also looked at Grox and he was anything but fine, his body was covered in severe burn marks, his face was a bit indented, he was missing a few teeth and his horns were crooked missing most of it.

"You..." The other female shouted with a palpable rage as her aura flared but then her attention shifted from me to something else. I could sense a lot of bright golden auras heading our way, the greater imps tensed up as they sensed the same thing as well. Soon a brightly glowing figure appeared in the air and gracefully landed beside me. Synthia looked around at all the Greater imps with a beautiful smile on her face along with her radiant aura she looked like a goddess from one of those old mythologies. She was also wearing a white dress along with a silver chest piece and gauntlets which only added to her image.

"What took you so long?!" Alice shouted angrily and I had to admit I was a bit pissed as well. We had been battling Hans for a few minutes now which was more than enough time for them to sense the clash of three demons and come to help. Synthia's lips twitched but she managed to keep her smile intact and give an answer.

"I was organizing my troops." She said but I didn't buy that answer and neither did Alice.

"Yeah, right." Alice snorted

"How dare you question lady Synthia, you demon?" Someone shouted from inside the crowd of newly evolved priests judging by their auras. I scanned the crowd and noticed that all of them were equipped with various holy weapons, I also spotted the four saints in the crowd and they were also wearing a chest piece and gauntlets just like Synthia. And it could my imagination but their weapons looked way better than the ones I was able to create. Was Synthia holding out on me?

"What?!" Alice shouted enraged when she heard what the person said.

*Hahahahaaha*

Suddenly I heard loud rambunctious laughter from the Greater imps and I turned towards them.

"I can't believe you let these humans talk to you like that. You really are an Angels pet aren't you?" Hans said between laughs and I actually heard someone laugh from inside the crowd of priests and mine and Alice's face darkened.

"An Angels pet am I?" I said and my aura flared as rage ignited in my heart.

"Screw you." I shouted and kicked off the ground towards him.
