Dragon Ball:Vados is my Wife

Chapter 79: Chapter 79: A New Beginning

"Hehehe, Master Champa, looks like you're suffering all on your own now," Alice teased, her voice light.

"Stop gloating! Come up with a reliable plan for me!" Champa barked, veins bulging on his forehead as he spoke, frustration seeping through every word.

He was far from in the mood for Alice's usual banter. The situation was serious, and his own pride had taken a considerable hit.

"Okay, Master Champa," Alice said, putting on a serious expression. "But I really believe it's easier to approach Vados than to go directly to Master Kahn. After all, Vados used to be your guiding Angel. If you're sincere, I believe Vados can help mediate with Master Kahn."

Champa, however, couldn't ignore the sinking feeling in his chest. Alice's suggestion was the only reasonable option left. He was too nervous to gamble on whether Kahn would remember the incident or not.

"Alright," he sighed, "I'll go and see if Vados will help me, but I'm not hopeful."

Meanwhile, on the way back to the Seventh Universe, Whis commented with a light chuckle, "Mr. Kahn, isn't it interesting? When you arrived, the gods looked down on you. But now, after your victory, they all want to get close."

Kahn shrugged dismissively. "It's just how it is. They follow the trend, bullying the weak and fearing the strong."

Whis agreed with a nod. "Indeed, that's the nature of the Gods of Destruction. They always submit to the Zeno and Grand Priest, but turn hard on the weaker beings in their respective universes."

Kahn's opinion of the Gods of Destruction was clear. He compared them to Raditz—foolish and self-important. In his eyes, they were nowhere near as capable or dignified as Vegeta.

Back on Earth

After returning to Earth, Kahn was greeted by Vados and Bulma. It had been four days since he left, and Bulma had been anxiously waiting for his safe return.

"Husband, where were you? What happened while you were with Whis?" Bulma asked, worry evident in her voice.

Kahn smiled warmly and gently reassured her. "Let's go inside and talk."

Once seated in the living room, Kahn shared his experiences from the world of the Gods of Destruction. Bulma listened intently, her small pink fist raised in determination. "As expected of my husband! I would've beaten those shameless guys to death!"

Although Bulma didn't fully understand the intricacies, she couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration for Kahn's strength.

Kahn chuckled. "Haha, let's not be as narrow-minded as they are."

Vados, however, interrupted with another piece of news. "By the way, husband, a man named Vegeta has been looking for you. He said you owe him a favor. Are you going to meet him?"

"Oh, Vegeta. I did promise him something."

Kahn recalled the favor he owed Vegeta. Back on Namek, he had given Vegeta a Dragon Ball, ensuring that Gohan could summon Shenron. It was a small promise, but it was still a favor Kahn hadn't repaid.

"Let's take care of this now," Kahn said, deciding to settle the matter.

------

Vegeta had been waiting patiently outside Magnum Capsules and was quickly ushered inside to meet Kahn. Despite his usual arrogance, Vegeta appeared more reserved, sitting in front of Kahn.

Kahn wasted no time. "Vegeta, tell me—how do you want me to repay the favor?"

Vegeta, without hesitation, stated, "It's simple. I want to know how you train. Please, teach me for three months!"

Kahn shook his head slightly. "You may be disappointed. I've stopped my own training for now. As for teaching you, it's possible, but I'm not free at the moment."

Kahn was already planning to start training Goku and Gohan, so it would be easy to include Vegeta later.

"I can't help you immediately," Kahn continued. "But in about a year, I'll be ready."

Vegeta, understanding the situation, nodded resolutely. "Alright. I'll wait."

"Good, you can go now," Kahn said, dismissing him with a wave.

A year had passed since Kahn's victory in the Gods of Destruction summit. During this time, life on Earth had been a peaceful haven. Kahn enjoyed a more relaxed lifestyle, spending quality time with Vados and Bulma, who were both pregnant. Their peaceful days seemed endless, but the moment they had all been waiting for was now drawing near.

Both Vados and Bulma had been expecting for almost ten months, and today, the air in West Capital felt heavier than usual. The day began like any other, but soon after, something strange began to happen. The sky suddenly darkened, the atmosphere became tense, and Kahn's senses picked up an unfamiliar but powerful energy emanating from the delivery room.

A divine aura—distinct and overwhelming—shot through the air, pulling Kahn's attention immediately. His heart raced as he realized what this meant. Vados and Bulma, both nearing their due dates, were about to give birth, and this divine energy could only mean one thing: their children were about to arrive. Kahn couldn't help but smile at the thought of becoming a father. His thoughts swirled as he felt an indescribable excitement mixed with a deep sense of responsibility.

Out in the waiting area of West Hospital, Kahn, Son Goku, and the rest of the family gathered outside the delivery room, awaiting the arrival of the little ones. Son Gohan, ever the optimist, was the first to congratulate Kahn with a smile.

"Congratulations, Uncle Kahn! You're going to be a father!" Son Gohan exclaimed, his voice full of joy.

Kahn laughed warmly. "Thank you, Gohan. I've always loved you like a nephew," he replied, his heart swelling with pride.

The day, however, was about to take a dramatic turn. As Kahn stood there, basking in the warm congratulations, the clouds in the sky began to shift even further. A violent thunderstorm rumbled overhead, the winds picking up as if the heavens themselves were aware of the impending birth.

The divine energy coming from the delivery room surged again, intensifying. Kahn could feel it deep within his core—the presence of something ancient, powerful, and truly divine. This wasn't just the birth of a child; this was a moment that could change the course of history. The energy crackled like lightning, and Kahn's heart beat faster as he stepped forward, knowing something extraordinary was about to occur.

In the distance, a bolt of energy struck the sky, signaling the beginning of the momentous event. A new life was about to be brought into the universe, and with it, new possibilities. Kahn's gaze softened as he thought of Vados and Bulma. The bond they shared had only deepened in the past year, and now, they would experience the joy and challenges of parenthood together.

The doctors and nurses, too, were feeling the intensity of the moment. There was an unmistakable air of expectancy in the hospital, as if the world itself held its breath.
