Douluo : Hydra Douluo

In the majestic Elder Hall, seven elders were sitting and arguing about their next action. Just yesterday Qian Daoliu was happy that they were going to get a hundred thousand year old spirit bone, but today they had to decide what to do after the death of his son. The weird energy that they felt all over the Douluo continent wasn't making the situation easier to deal with.

The Mighty lion douluo hit his hand to the table and screamed "The clear sky sect needs to be punished, they dared to kill the pope. If we let them get away with this we will become the laughing stock of the whole world".

Qian Daoliu, the person who was in the most pain gave an order calmly, "If they want a war we will give it to them. Hunt every clear sky sect member outside their headquarters. Now, about the energy that appeared around the world. We still have no idea where it came from. We need to find out everything about it." The Elders kept figuring out the details, while the person responsible for getting every Spirit douluo and Titled doulou concerned was crying because of hunger.

In the Heaven Dou Empire was a village called the Deathly Silent Wolf's Village, and right there was a little baby, lying on the floor in the middle of a random street. All you could hear was the baby crying, but it seemed like nobody cared.

After hours of agony, an old woman finally picked up the child and took him into her house. The grandma brought the little baby close to the fire place to warm him up. There was only happiness in the grandma's eyes, so much that you could feel it. Even the little baby boy felt bad about crying and stopped.

In reality, the little boy felt bad because he wasn't an actual baby. Just yesterday he had a family, a job and a social life, but now it was all gone. All because of a Ferris wheel. Yes, a Ferris wheel. It unscrewed itself, rolled down and squashed him. If you told him yesterday that he would die from a Ferris wheel, he would think you were delusional. Because how likely is it to die from a Ferris wheel when you aren't even on it?

Finally, the grandma talked, which brought him back to reality. "look at you, you little sweetheart, you have such a serious face. So cute!". The little boy saw death as her hand got closer to his face. he didn't have a second to think before the pain from his cheeks getting pinched sent him in a turmoil.

6 years later, the little boy could be seen running towards the entrance of the village. Even though his eyes made him look like an old man with a lot of responsibilities, his body still looked like a child's.

His name is Chao Feng now, and today is the day when he will awaken his martial soul. Today he will take the first step towards getting back to his world.

Chao was waiting for the spirit Hall master to come and awaken his martial soul. Throughout the years, he watched the annual martial soul awakenings twice. One of those times only two children awakened their spirit tool, and both of them had a common hoe martial spirit.

Chao watched the anime of douluo, and remembered almost everything. He learned from his grandma that the Spirit Hall elected a new pope when he was a toddler, which meant that he was the same age as Tang San. Chao knew that this world will go through a war of Gods, and an unholy amount of civilians are going to die.

Whatever happens today will decide his future. If he gets a common martial soul, he will not be able to get back to his world, and won't even be able to guarantee his survival.

After waiting for a few minutes, children gathered to welcome the Grand Spirit Master Su Yuntao. He wasn't far from the village and He seemed to be in a hurry as always.

The Village Chief introduced Chao and the other children to Su yuntao. The Grand Spirit Master looked over to them and found nothing special with any of those children. He shrugged and guided the children towards the Spirit Hall.

This year, there were only four kids that needed to awaken their martial spirit in the whole village, including Chao.

Su Yuntao explained everything hurriedly to the children, and activated his own tiger martial spirit, which scared everyone. They have never seen any martial spirit before, and the first one they ever saw was scary tiger.

He took out six black disks and placed them in a circle. Immediately, they floated up and started rotating clockwise. Su Yuntao ordered the kids to step into the circle of the rotating disks. All three kids, one by one, awakened the usual hoe and blue silver grass martial spirits with no soul power. After a few seconds it was finally Chao's turn.

He gathered his confidence and stepped into the circle. The disks increased their speed, and out of nowhere they stopped moving. No, not only the disks, everyone and everything seemed to be frozen in place. This is when Chao heard the magical sound of The System.

"The Story Bending System has been awakened, host has been confirmed"

Chao didn't have time to be happy before he heard the sound of the system again, saying: "Choose a mission for this world".

A blue screen appeared infront of Chao, and soon words started forming slowly, giving him different options to proceed with:

1. Don't effect story in any way .

Reward: awaken the rusty sword martial spirit with the soul power of seven.

2. Help Tang San achieve victory against the Spirit Hall.

Reward: awaken the Fenrir martial spirit with the soul power of twenty.

3. majorly change the story of douluo.

Reward: awaken the Hydra martial spirit with soul power of ten, and a chance to get back to your world.

Chao looked at his options and smirked. The system was clearly forcing him to choose the 3rd option.

Without much hesitation he chose option three. Immediately, time resumed as normal. Soul power entered Chao's body and a hydra with one head appeared infront of everyone.

The Hydra had a dragon's body but the head of a snake. The fact that it only had one head instead of nine made it look fat. The Hydra's snake like body as a neck in the middle made it look ridiculous, but that doesn't mean it wasn't powerful. Just it's appearance was enough to send children screaming out of the spirit Hall. 

Su Yuntao quickly analysed the situation, and as an expert at being wrong he thought Chao awakened a mutated version of a snake. He wasn't sure what type of snake it was, but he was confident it wasn't too strong.

He quickly called Chao towards him to check his soul power. Chao ran towards the crystal ball and put his hand on it. Right away he felt the crystal ball sucking in his soul power. Chao hurriedly pulled back his soul power, but because he was an amateur most of his soul energy entered the crystal ball.

Light from the soul power tester filled the room, which shocked Su Yuntao. He quickly pulled the crystal ball back to confirm. Su Yuntao confirmed Chao's soul power and started contemplating whether Chao was worth kidnapping.

The Spirit Hall is the biggest and strongest force on the Douluo Continent, and they didn't get strong by following the rules. They have been taking kids from a young age to train them for generations already.

After a short period of time, Su Yuntao started explaing to Chao. "Kid, you have a beast martial spirit mutated snake with the soul power of eight, I sincerely invite you to join the Spirit Hall."

Chao wasn't surprised much, people with the soul power of six already count as geniuses, and in Su Yuntao's eyes he had the wopping soul power of eight. Chao thinks that if Su Yuntao knew that he was born with full soul power, he wouldn't even ask and just take him away.

Chao was stalling time to make it look like he was considering the invitation, when Su Yuntao started putting pressure on him. " I don't have all day. Tell me if you want to join or not." Chao looked up to Su Yuntao and told him " I'm sorry grand spirit master, I have been an loner all my life. joining any group isn't suitable for my character. I'm grateful, but I'll have to deny your offer."

Su Yuntao shook his head but still gave Chao his identification card. " whatever you want kid. this is your identification card, it shows your martial spirit and soul power, it has the seal of the Spirit Hall, so everybody will know that it's authentic. If you change your mind you can come to Nuoding city's Spirit Hall and ask about me."

Chao nodded at Su Yuntao and quickly ran out of the Spirit Hall towards his 'grandma's' house.

Chao went inside a house which could barely be called a house. The house looked like it could fall apart at any time. You could even see visible cracks in the woden walls, and the furniture didn't look any better.

Chao went inside the kitchen and saw the old wrinkled Grandma with her white withered hair sitting on the chair peeling a carrot. Her name is Daiyu Feng. She has been living in this village for 40 years at least. In Chao's opinion she is a loner just like him. Chao tried to make conversation with her throughout the years but she didn't really share much.

Chao got closer and sat next to Daiyu.

After a moment, she finally noticed him, and welcomed him with a gentle smile. She leaned over and hugged Chao. Even though she was cold towards others, she was always willing to shower Chao with love.

After she stopped cuddling Chao, she asked him about his martial spirit.

"It's nothing much Grandma, Grand Spirit Master said I have a mutated snake with the soul power of eight. He invite me to the spirit Hall but I don't really want to join it."

Chao having any soul power was already a big shock for Daiyu. But Chao not only had soul power, it was at level eight. In her mind Chao was shinning brighter than the sun.

They spent half an hour talking about everything, and finally came to the conclusion that Chao should go to Nouding Academy to become a proper soul master.
