The team of Tian Shui Academy walked onto the stage. They were not wearing masks so the crowd could see their faces resulting in loud cheers from the men while the women were scolding them.

Tian Shui Academy was known for having extremely beautiful girls. Although they were all beautiful, Tang Zhen only had eyes for Shui Bing'er.

He knew this was going to be a tough fight. To be able to fight with the girls, he had to restrict himself to only his fourth soul skill. And no one on the team had a good counter for Shui Bing'er's AOE freeze skill.

Although he fused with the Uchiha Sasuke template, he didn't inherit his fire affinity. Perhaps it was due to him concentrating on his Thunder affinity since it was his favorite in his previous life. Knowing the system, he wouldn't doubt it if it just didn't give it to him. He would have to ask it again if it came back and give it a piece of his mind the next time. Of course he didn't have the system to hold his hand and make things easier in this life unlike some other stories he read. He truly was envious of those people.

The Gouka Mekkyaku was out of the question. He didn't want to kill the girls. Although he did manage to master the Goukakyuu no Jutsu, he also wasn't 100% sure if it would be able to stand against Shui Bing'er's ultimate ice.

While he wasn't confident in his fire abilities, he was confident in his Thunder abilities. A plan started to form in his head. So far he had been using the Shunshin and his brute strength to fight opponents if he came across them. He wanted to girls to gain experience so he stayed back to protect Rongrong and Ye Lingling if anyone got past the others.

"Begin!"

Immediately all of the Tian Shui Academy students unleashed their martial souls. Ranging from level 31-37 they all had the "optimal" 2 yellow and 1 purple rings.

Seeing their opponents, they were shocked. Some had 1 yellow and 2 purples.

"What is that martial soul? It looks like the Seven Treasure Glaze Tile Pagoda but it has nine levels."

"I don't know I've never seen something like that. Could it be a fake?"

The crowd murmured trying to see what that was.

"First Soul Skill. Ice Bind" An elegant voice said.

Shui Bing'er wasted no time unleashing her Ice Phoenix and instantly, the field froze including three of the attacking girls.

Her team thinking this would be an easy victory tried to move forward to knock the 3 attackers out of the ring until she heard the lone male in the group.

"First soul skill. Three Thousand Thunder Movement." A blue dragon appeared behind him.

He vanished followed by a trail of Thunder going all over the field. Thunder in essence was extremely hot. In nature, it reaches up to 50,000 degrees F. Obviously that is a force not able to be generated by a human body but Tang Zhen's affinity for the element is enough to melt the ice. Being almost 20 levels above Shui Bing'er helps too.

What shocked everyone was they didn't expect to see the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon and an unusually strong one as well. Added onto the fact that they heard him say his first soul skill was used but a purple ring appeared, they couldn't help but think he was a monster.

Once free, Zhu Zhuqing and Xiao Wu was able to go and pick apart their back line with Ning Rongrong's boosts.

Turning around, Shui Bing'er tried to help her team but was stopped and noticed that she and Shui Yue'er were trapped by a green mist.

Looking at the purple haired girl, she saw the Jade Phosphor Serpent and narrowed her eyes. "Could that be....Dugu Yan?" The Jade Phosphor Serpent was a very specific martial soul.

Unable to withstand the assault, the auxiliary soul master from Tian Shui Academy, Xue Wu was knocked out of the ring.

"Damn, I wasn't even able to protect Xue Wu with my second soul skill so we can't even use our martial fusion skill." Shui Bing'er regretted.

Tang Zhen smirked, he told Zhuqing and Xiao Wu to target Xue Wu to prevent their martial fusion since it would be troublesome to deal with.

Using her first soul skill again, Shui Bing'er targeted the ground by the green poison mist freezing the ground causing a gust of wind to open a hole for her and Shui Yue'er to slip through.

"Damn it!" Dugu Yan cursed trying to chase after her.

Unleashing multiple shards of her first soul skill, Shui Bing'er tried to freeze the arena ground again. With Tang Zhen melting the arena at the beginning she couldn't unleash her first soul skill to it's fullest potential. She needed to be able to control the field with it as once the ground was frozen, she could unleash shards that would track its target making them unable to escape. Truly a terrifying ability.

"CHIDORI NAGASHI!" Arcs of electricity flew out and intercepted her first soul skill.

"What was that?! That wasn't a soul ring skill...could it be....a self created one?" Shui Bing'er started to sweat. This team was not to be underestimated.

"Second soul skill. Tesla Prison." Using his ability he trapped the remaining 6 members of Tian Shui Academy. 

With only 3 offensive members from the Empress team, even with Ning Rongrong's enhancements they were struggling to fight 3v5. The only reason they were able to hold on was, Tian Shui team was without their leader as she was tied up with the sole male member on the team.

Shui Bing'er realizing the situation they were in used her third soul skill.

"Third soul skill. Repelling Light." A purple ring lit up as a wave of ice blew the Tesla Prison away.

Zhu Zhuqing, Xiao Wu, and Dugu Yan was caught unawares as the ability blew them forward making them lose balance from the momentum allowing the others of Tian Shui Academy to attack once they were freed.

Being tossed back to the other side, Ye Lingling activated her healing ability but the three were slow to get up.

Gaining some confidence again, the Tian Shui team stepped up next to their leader ready to continue the fight. The problem was at this point Shui Bing'er was breathing heavily as she had to expend a large amount of soul power to get to this point. Meanwhile, the sole male on the other team was just standing there.....menacingly.

*Ahem. Take two*

Meanwhile the sole male on the other team was just standing there with his arms crossed. Looking down at his three team members who were on the ground trying to get up. He dropped his arms to his sides and they all got ready. His martial soul was the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon and they saw how he melted Shui Bing'er's ice. This was not an easy opponent.

Tang Zhen seeing three of his women injured started to get angry. While he never wanted to hurt them respecting their beauty and strength, the Tian Shui team was pushing him.

"I was so caught up in the moment I forgot that Shui Bing'er had a repelling ability like Huo Wu. Because of my mistake and arrogance, Zhuqing, Xiao Wu, and Yan Yan got hurt." Tang Zhen clenched his fists.

Looking back up at the six of them, he activated his Sharingan startling the Tian Shui team from the change in color. His sky blue eyes turned blood red and they felt a shiver go down their spines.

Aiming to end this quickly, he went all out.

"FIRST SOUL SKILL. THREE THOUSAND TUNDER MOVEMENT!" Rushing forward he was in front of Shui Yue'er in an instant.

Panicked, Shui Bing'er released her second soul skill to protect her sister.

"SECOND SOUL SKILL. ICE RING ARMOR!"

An ice armor enveloped Shui Yue'er as Tang Zhen was about to strike.

"OCTANE BLAST!" He send a powerful palm strike at Shui Yue'er. The ice armor held on for two seconds before shattering sending Shui Yue'er sliding back.

That slight delay gave Qiu Roushui the chance to counter.

"FIRST SOUL SKILL. FISH TRANSFORMATION(There has got to be a better translation for this somewhere)". She charged at Tang Zhen but he caught both of her wrists holding her up.

The rest of the Tian Shui team charged at once trying to take him down.

"FOURTH SOUL SKILL. HEAVEN'S SHOCKWAVE!"

As a black soul ring lit up, Tang Zhen stomped the ground and a huge force of Thunder blew the entire Tian Shui team back. Staggering up, they could feel the paralyzing effects of the Thunder hindering their movements.

Shui Bing'er as a last ditch attempt, tried to use her first soul skill again but Tang Zhen was already standing next to her gripping her wrist.

"You've lost. Your team can no longer fight. Surrender." He said in a stern but gentle voice.

Shui Bing'er knew that she couldn't afford to lose this match. But with her out of soul power and looking at her team in a pitiful state, she had no choice.

Sighing she declared, "We surrender."

The crowd erupted into cheers. Some in the audience jubilant that they won money from their bet while others sulked at losing everything.

As both teams stepped off the stage, Tang Zhen looked back at Tian Shui academy.

"This is not part of the main story. While I understand the Imperial team from Heaven Dou Academy isn't here since Dugu Yan and Ye Lingling are with us. But why is Tian Shui Academy here all of a sudden?" After letting the girls rest, he decided to follow them and investigate. Something doesn't seem right at all.

In another room, the Tian Shui Academy team was down. They had failed and that means they have failed their academy. Due to the academy's requirements, the list of of applicants to begin with was restrictive. Since they only accepted female students who have water attribute martial souls and they all have to be beautiful, there were not a lot of students that fit that criteria. As a result, the academy was having financial problems as less and less students were available.

Since losing a lot of money the manager of the Great Spirit Arena, went to each of the School of Four Elements to try and recruit a crack team of soul masters to beat the Tyrant Empress team. While all the other schools rejected him, he was able to rope Tian Shui Academy in by offering to pay off their current debts in exchange for them sending their best team of students under level 50 to fight and beat the Tyrant Empress team. Although he was skeptical about them being in the 30's they also displayed their skills by fighting and winning against some of the teams he had hired.

Taking a gamble and confident in the team, the Dean of Tian Shui Academy signed the agreement. In the fine print, it stated that in the event they fail, the Academy would have to pay back the amount the Great Spirit Arena paid to cover their initial debts. If they couldn't the Great Spirit Arena would be able to make arrangements to get the money back in some other way.

Furious the fat manager rushed into the room and the confronted the Dean.

"WHAT HAPPENED OUT THERE? YOU SAID THAT THEY COULD WIN! NOW I'M OUT OF EVEN MORE MONEY! THE OWNERS WILL HAVE MY HEAD!"

"You never told me that the team would have soul masters from two of the three top clans!" The Dean countered.

"SO WHAT?! YOUR BITCHES SHOULD'VE WON, BUT SINCE THEY LOST, PER OUR AGREEMENT YOU NEED TO PAY BACK THE MONEY!"

"We can't we just don't have it."

".....Fine then as we agreed, I will be taking her." The manager cast a lecherous gaze at Shui Bing'er.

Stunned, Shui Bing'er started shaking.

"D-d-dean, what does this mean?"

Not getting an answer from him, she stood up trying to defend her team members. The worst nightmare for a female, especially a soul master is to be raped.

But what happened shocked her. Her own team and half-sister Shui Yue'er were the ones that held her down and tied her up.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING? YUE'ER?"

Shui Yue'er's face turned into a scowl.

"My dear sister, don't you understand? You're being given to that fat slob over there." As she said sister with venom, Shui Bing'er could feel her heart break. Looking towards the dean, she called out to him.

"Dean...Father, please tell me this isn't true." She begged.

The Dean turned around and slapped her.

"YOU HAVE NO SAY IN THIS! YOU'RE JUST MY ILLIGITIMATE DAUGHTER I HAD WITH A STUDENT! IF ONLY YOU HADN'T BEEN BORN WITH YOUR ULTIMATE ICE PHOENIX, THEN I WOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO LET MY PRINCESS YUE'ER SUFFER THE PAIN OF BEING CALLED THE ILLIGITIMATE DAUGHTER!" He raged.

Shui Bing'er was stunned. She thought she was the actual daughter of the dean and his wife. She felt bad for Yue'er and always treated her well but this was like a shock to her. Turning to the rest of the team, she asked them in a dull voice.

"And you all, why are you doing this to me?" She said with tears forming in her eyes.

"*Scoff* Who could stand having to hear the praises of the "Perfect Shui Bing'er"? Everyone always prefers you because of your martial soul. Are we less beautiful than you are? Everywhere we go, all the men drool over you and we get left in background and we grew sick of it. Now you'll be this pig's plaything. A fitting position for you." Xue Wu, the person she thought was her best friend sneered and vented.

Shui Bing'er still unwilling tried to get free but couldn't. The manager came up to her and starting clawing at her clothes tearing them in a few spots.

"Before I sell you to some noble to breed you for your martial soul, I will have a taste of you first." He said lecherously.

"NO! PLEASE SOMEONE SAVE ME!" Shui Bing'er cried out.

"Yue'er, let's go." The dean said with his back turned.

"No father, I want to see the look on my dear sister's face as she gets violated by this pig. I wonder if she can keep her elegant expression then." Shui Yue'er said. Her and the rest of their team couldn't wait to see their oh so perfect captain utterly destroyed.

"Hoh, this is interesting." A cold voice said. Looking at the door, they saw the masked man from the Tyrant Empress team. Shocked to see him there, they were soon all brought to their knees.

The dean though was not focused on the young man but the person behind him.

"WHY IS SWORD DOULUO HERE?" He exclaimed in his mind. He was only a level 89 Soul Douluo. He had no chance against him.

"Lord Sword, what brings you here?" He said respectfully. The fat manager hearing the man was Sword Douluo Chen Xin pissed himself. The other girls were not fairing any better as they were shaking uncontrollably.

Chen Xin looked at the state of the room and scoffed.

"What a turn of events. I didn't think that in this world, Shui Bing'er was the illegitimate daughter of the dean, if that changed what else in this world has changed?" Tang Zhen thought.

Staring at the fat manager of the arena, Tang Zhen stared at him coldly before lifting his right arm.

"Chidori Eiso." A long blade of Thunder flew forward and impaled him in the heart killing him instantly.

Everyone in the room was stunned. Soon after, Tang Zhen stepping over the dead body walked over to the tied up Shui Bing'er who was almost naked with torn clothes. He took off a cloak that he was wearing and covered her after cutting her binds. She instantly flew into him and started crying. As he held her, he looked back at Chen Xin.

"Grandpa Sword, please teach this scumbag a lesson."

The whole room shocked by the way he addressed the Sword Douluo. Grandpa?

"Mhm.." Chen Xin walked over to the dean and started to repeatedly slap the man until his face was swollen like a pig.

"W-who are you?" Shui Bing'er asked him cautiously.

"Ah please, forgive my manners." Tang Zhen reached up and took off his mask revealing an extremely handsome face with blue eyes like the color of the sky. Shui Bing'er at this moment started to feel her face warm up from her neck to her head. Tang Zhen thought she was adorable and gave her a gentle smile making her blush even worse.

"My name is Tang Zhen. It's a pleasure to officially meet you Ms. Shui Bing'er."

"T-t-the pleasure is all mine." Shui Bing'er replied timidly.

"Let's get you some place safe and into some new clothes." "Mhm"

Lifting her up in a bridal carry, he started to walk out when all of a sudden a girl started screaming.

"SEE THIS IS WHY WE HATE YOU! YOU EVEN SNARED THIS HANDSOME MAN WITHOUT EVEN TRYING. WHY IS IT ALWAYS YOU! YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A DAUGHTER OF A WHORE! WHY CAN'T HE LOOK AT ME INSTEAD?"

Shui Bing'er started to shed tears again as she buried herself in Tang Zhen's chest. He turned around and glared at her.

"I would never turn my attention who would willingly watch her family get raped and take pleasure in it. You're disgusting all of you." Turning to the dean who was on the floor bleeding, he said, "Consider this Bing'er's resignation from Tian Shui Academy and disownment from your family. From now on I'll take responsibility of her."

Shui Bing'er hearing this couldn't help but feel embarrassed but her heart started beating.

As they walked out, Chen Xin turned to Tang Zhen.

"You did well Tang Zhen. Your mother would be proud of you. You did the right thing."

"Thank you Grandpa Sword."

Tang Zhen heard Shui Bing'er murmur something. "What did you say?"

Speaking louder she said. "Did you mean it?"

"Hmm?"

"Did you mean it when you said that you would take responsibility for me?" She said with reddened cheeks. Still clinging to Tang Zhen she enjoyed the sensation of being in his arms. She felt safe.

"Of course." Tang Zhen said with a smile. Chen Xin though shook his head. Another one.

"Hmpf. After seeing that much of my body, you better." She said in a cute and timid manner and looked off to the side to try and hide her blush.

Tang Zhen couldn't help but chuckle at this girl and walked towards the room to the others.

Sorry for the delayed chapter. For some reason, when switching from writing on the computer to writing on my phone, the story likes to delete itself. Unsure of why but it's getting frustrating. But either way I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
