Chapter 799: The Surprise Sigrid Left for Lanci_2
Lanci's forehead was beaded with sweat.
He wouldn't really have to eat the couch, would he?
At first, he thought there would be no problem saying that.
This is our sisterhood.
No problem, sisterhood.
No one can affect the relationship between sisters.
Our sisters have always been affectionate towards each other.
Wow, the Goddess of Destiny's Rebirth Jewel move is really deadly.
"Sikder, no matter what, promise me you won't get into a fight with Hyperion, okay?"
Lanci pleaded, his address becoming a bit more affectionate.
This attitude again made Siegler feel amused, and at the same time, annoyed.
"Humph, if she gets too excited in my presence, I might have to restrain her forcefully," Siegler said with a half-closed eye, arms folded.
Unless Lanci is willing to give her a hug right now, perhaps there might be room for negotiation; otherwise, she's going to get angry.
"Seriously, don't. She's Miss Duchess. If you hold her down, you'll get arrested. For a Cardinal Bishop to go to Prison, that would be a lifetime of ridicule."
Lanci explained the state of affairs in Hutton to Siegler.
The South Continent is not the Northern Continent.
Just imagining the reenactment of the altercation between Hyperion and Siegler from Protoss Royal Academy at Ichrite Academy, he felt the whole school would explode with gossip.
If it got worse, and Hyperion decided to sue Siegler, Lanci didn't even know if he should sit on the plaintiff's or the defendant's bench.
"Share a cell together?"
Siegler's expression gleamed with mischief as she extended a duo invitation to him.
The most important thing was to first bring Lanci over to her side; whether it's being co-defendants or co-inmates, she was not afraid.
"Are you guys like plastic sisters or what?"
Lanci took a deep breath and asked Siegler.
It was undeniable that Siegler and Hyperion could get along very well.
But if it really came to a dispute, Siegler would become uncompromising, and her first thought would be to make him pick a side.
"You don't get it, do you? The joy of being Siegler is all about sticking close to Hyperion, while for Siegler, it's about teasing Hyperion," Siegler proudly explained her character setting to him.
Whether it's making Hyperion dislike her or attracting Hyperion's attention, she found it all very enjoyable.
"No, no, just keep playing Siegler, can't the two of you remain good sisters all the time? Isn't it good just like before?"
Lanci asked with pins-and-needles discomfort as he listened to Siegler's consistent commitment to role-playing.
"Hmm?"
Siegler sounded a displeased query, her rebellious heart stirred.
"Don't you find Hyperion quite interesting? Like right now, I really want to call her back and let her see me riding on top of you," Siegler said, stroking Lanci's cheeks and snickered askance.
Hyperion's pure and holy vibe, the more you bully her the more it feels sinful, and yet that guilt is irresistible.
Of course, Siegler could never bully her big sister, but if it's Bishop of Hegemony Siegler, that's a different story.
Siegler never panders to anyone who shows animosity towards her, and if her sister provokes her first, she would ensure her sister is defeated.
"..."
Lanci's eyes twitched as he glanced at the couch.
He didn't dare continue persuading anymore, the more he tried, the more likely it would have the opposite effect on Siegler.
Siegler, seeing Lanci's desolate demeanor, couldn't help but chuckle.
Tormenting Lanci was fun, too.
She pressed down on the armrest of her chair, stood up, and no longer pressed down on Lanci.
"Alright, I'll let you off. We'll chat more when there's more time," Siegler knew that there was limited time left in Shadow World and the tasks at hand, so she needed to leave some time for Lanci to have dinner at the Demon King's Restaurant.
Lanci was likely to head to Demon King Castle Necaris overnight, and while he could rest on the way, he would probably spend the next few days on the road.
"Remember to rest well, I really can't bear to delay your already scarce resting time outside of work anymore," Siegler told Lanci with a smile, advising him to take good care of himself.
"Being with you is essentially resting," Lanci stood up, replying to her.
"Don't say things like that, I won't want to leave!" Siegler said with a heart that fluttered uncontrollably as she embraced Lanci, unwilling to let him go,
"And I had finally made up my mind to part with you, who knows when we'll meet again next time," she murmured clinging to Lanci.
"It won't be too long. Once I take care of the trouble in the South Continent, at most in one more year, I will go to the Northern Continent to find you, I promised you," Lanci had promised Siegler when he left the Northern Continent that he would meet her again in no more than two years, in exchange for her ungrudging agreement to let him go.
This was no perfunctory promise; he always remembered what he had said, crystal clear.
"Maybe..."
Maybe it won't take that long.
Siegler thought.
But she didn't say it aloud.
She was already eagerly looking forward to the Saint Heir's expression when he sees her again in the near future.
This predestined reunion was sure to make his heart race.
Siegler slowly let go of Lanci, no longer clinging to the warmth of the Principal's Office that would make one drowsy.
"Then I'm off, Lanci," Siegler walked to the Principal's Office door, opened it, and waved goodbye to Lanci.
"How can that be, let me see you off," Lanci naturally followed, concerned.
"...I'm not a three-year-old kid, okay? I can go home on my own after school."
