Chapter 976: Arcane Pillar Rain
Of course, all these had been amongst the instructions drawn on his body by himself with memory intact.
Lenny was training himself for the worse situation possible.
The demon was tired of entertaining this bout, and so it rushed with brute force for Lenny with the weapon in hand.
At the same time, Lenny went low, crossing the swords above his shoulders, and then like a torpedo, he launched into the air. He spun in the air, his twin Katana’s acting like drills the moment he brought them together charged through his opponents attack.
Holy power was already the bane of darkline Magic. This would have only been offset if by some chance, the Darkline magic that the Demon commander willed was of purer quality than his own.
But they were both Great Demons of very close ranks. coupled with Lenny’s abnormality, the Demon Commander was bound to loss this bout.
*CRASH!* The blades in his hands broke upon contact with lenny’s Katanas.
And just as quickly as Lenny had passed by him, he appeared at the other side. Slashes upon slashes appeared on the Demon Commander’s body.
And the Demon Commander’s left hand fell off from the shoulder.
His blood like a small fountain gushed into the air.
Lenny waved his blades, the Commander’s blood splashed on the ground. "If that is all you have to present to me, then you might as well just die!" Lenny stated harshly.
The Demon commander fell to his knees, coughing out some blood.
Slowly, Lenny walked towards him. On arriving before him, he raised the demon’s chin with the edge of his sword. Normally, the demon commander was much taller than him. This meant that right now, they were roughly the same height.
Lenny smiled, "any more...?" he asked in a soft pitying voice.
The Demon commander raised his head up to look at Lenny in the eyes. And then, he smirked, "Actually, there is."
Instinctively, Lenny felt danger, and he took a huge leap back, his feet screeching against the ground as he tried to get stable footing. However, he noticed that nothing had come for him, and he slowed down with the swords acting as slow, grinding breaks the moment he stabbed them into the ground.
For a moment, Lenny thought maybe what he had felt was just an illusion, or the final out burst of one that was at the brink of death.
And then it happened. Lenny felt weight, like a mountain had been dropped on his back, it forced him to the ground, digging into his back and out the other side.
Slowly, he turned his eyes as he looked at what this was.
But he could not see it. However, when he looked into the Before truth, he saw it. This, was a dark, curvy pillar with runic symbols on it. It had broken though his Defensive holy power like stone through glass, Nailing him to the ground.
However, this was just one of five hovering in the sky.
They gave off a kind of demonic holy resonance that reverberated across space. Each one, with an oppressive might that lenny could feel even in his soul.
And then the demon commander stood up to his feet.
"I was thinking that i might not need to use My Bloodline technique as a Royal Demon. But you little trash has forced my hand. And now, you shall face the wrath of my Asmodeus Royal family."
*ARCANE TECHNIQUE! PILLAR RAIN*
Immediately, Lenny waved his hands, and similarly, swords appeared above him. These were silver swords all coated with White fire, all made from Holy light. This was lenny’s Weapon technique.
He waved his hands, and it all rushed for the Arcane pillars in the sky.
*BOOM! BOOM!! *BOOM!*
Explosions loud enough to embarrass the night sky on Chinese new year went off in all directions, creating an atmosphere of smoke and flames as a result of the chaotic collision.
The Demon commander chuckled as he waved his hands, and his cosmic energy blew away the dust and smoke.
The Pillars had all remained intact in the sky.
There was not so much as a little dent in them.
Lenny frowned, "so this is the Arcane pillar of the Asmodeus Royal family," he thought to himself.
From a bit of the recovered memory that he had, Lenny knew that he had seen these dark pillars before and even their name. But experiencing their power first hand was an entirely different thing.
After all, on their own, they could said to be laws, or at least, a fraction of it.
They hovered over Lenny like a judgement he could not refuse.
The Demon commander smiled, "You have been a fun sport. In fact, I was waiting for the Azure festival to come so that I could have much fun like this. I am indeed grateful for the stretch. But even games have to come to and end.
Don’t worry, I will make sure I personally, devour your meat as honor to you once you die."
On saying this, he waved his hands, and then it happened. The Pillars, like rain, all fell.
Each one brought with it, the force of a meteorite attempting to charge through the earth.
*BOOM!* the explosion was an incredible one.
Each pillar, the size of a giant tree had pierced the same region on the ground.
The Demon commander gave and arrogant ’Hmuph!’ as he turned to walk away.
However, only after a taking a few steps, a realization hit him.
The barrier Lenny had put up was still up.
He did not want to think it was true, after all, his Arcane pillars were a bloodline ability that had never failed.
However, he heard a whistle and when looked again he saw Lenny sitting on one of the pillar’s peak. He still had a hole on one side of his body, but what truly caught his attention was the fact that there was a giant serpent with horns on its head dancing around Lenny.
Lenny had brought out his Holy tool. to be precise, just one of the Snakes. This was Destroy...
