Destroying My Own World

Chapter 335: Complex.

Elysande was awoken by the sound of a shower and her memory was so fuzzy because she was drunk from drinking a full glass of vodka. She felt a sting and remembered she lost her virginity last night, but then she remembered how Mykel was on top of her and how she caressed her whole body. Her face became red and she hid her face with a blanket because the memories started to come back.

"Good morning, Ely," Mykel sat on the bed beside Elysande and then kissed her forehead. "Are you okay?" he asked as his face was right in front of hers.

Elysande slowly lowered the blanket and looked at Mykel in his black shirt and trousers.

"Good morning..." Elysande smiled and kissed Mykel as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "Are you going somewhere?" she asked as she caressed Mykel's cheeks.

"Victoria called me earlier. They cleared the rift and killed Agnigm last night. I'm going there for a moment, and I'll be back in a few hours" Mykel answered and kissed her left cheek. "That's if you're okay with it. I can stay here if you want," he said.

"No. You should go," Elysande gently smiled as she rubbed Mykel's lips which had marked her whole body with it. "I'll make you something to eat while you're on your way there," she added as she sat up, but she groaned because of the sting pain that became worse.

"You should stay in bed. Although I was being gentle, it's still painful for you, so let your body rest," Mykel said as he looked at Elysande's naked body covered in a blanket. "I'll be back before you know it, and I'll take care of you. I promise," he smiled.

Elysande nodded her head and she was so happy how he was concerned about her and how he treated her so kindly. His words, his voice, his smiles, and everything about him made her so calm and happy.

"I'll be waiting," Elysande said.

Mykel kissed her and then left the villa while Elysande continued to sleep because they were making love until dawn and she only slept for two hours. He then took the boat, a motor boat that was prepared for him that would only take him two hours to reach the Isola Key Island.

"Mykel is on his way here..." Victoria said as she looked at her phone and a cup of tea in her left hand. "Prepare the body."

The Big Bosses were wondering why the Five Sinners, Zachary, and Javelin respected Mykel. A man who didn't participate in the raid and the rumored man who defeated the Five Sinners in less than ten seconds. They were curious about how strong that man was, and wanted to see him in person.

"Lady Victoria, why is Mykel Alester taking the body?" A woman called Heina, one of the Big Bosses had the teleportation ability that saved everyone.

"You better not know what he's doing with the body," Sophia answered who was lying on the warden's table while rubbing her cheek which was swollen from the slap by Victoria that hadn't healed. "Just stay away from him and mind your own business," she warned.

Heina was looking at Duncan, Zachary, Javelin, Felix, and Sable, and none of them were saying anything as if they were agreeing with what Sophia said. She then looked at Victoria who pretended that she didn't hear anything and enjoyed her tea.

"He's here," Victoria stood up after she received a message from Mykel.

Everyone stood up and left to greet Mykel which made the Big Bosses think if they should follow them or stay. Heina didn't listen to them and decided to follow, so the others did the same, but when Victoria noticed they followed them, she sighed.

Mykel jumped down from the motor boat and noticed the Big Bosses among Victoria and the others. He knew when Victoria killed one of them for the power, and he approved of it that it would be better if she had it than that man.

"How was it?" Mykel asked as he looked at them.

"It was close to disaster," Victoria answered. "The body is preserved in the building," she pointed out.

"Alright. I'll go and grab it," Mykel nodded and walked past them, ignoring the Big Bosses who were staring at him. "Victoria, you come with me. I have something to discuss," he looked at Victoria over his shoulder.

Everyone looked at Victoria and they wondered why Mykel wanted her to talk with him in privacy.

"Oh, you're doomed, Victoria," Sophia giggled.

Victoria didn't show any expression or say anything but followed Mykel from behind.

Agnigm's body was preserved in the basement, and Mykel took her soul essence right in front of Victoria. He then looked at the soul essence for a moment and then put it in his trousers' pocket.

"From those eleven people, which of them have potential?" Mykel asked.

"If you're talking to be put in the team, then the answer is none. They might have special abilities, but I don't see them useful, at least at the moment," Victoria answered without hesitation. "I think it would be best if they stay here on the island because we need them to clear the rifts,"

"And yet you killed one to take his ability?" Mykel asked without looking back at Victoria. "His ability is the only ability that can make it easier for them to clear the rifts. Are you going to take responsibility if this island is going to be filled with monsters, and maybe become the nest of the demon?" he added.

Victoria was surprised that Mykel knew about it even though there shouldn't be anyone who could report it to him. Nobody on the island knew how to contact him, and she didn't think Sophia or the others had told him about it.

"I believe he's wasting his talent, that's all. I believe I'm more fitting than him and you know that as well," Victoria answered without showing any fear even though her heartbeat started beating fast.

"What you believe doesn't matter to me," Mykel said as he turned around and stared at Victoria. "If the island somehow falls by the monsters, you're going to pay for it," he warned.

"I'll keep that in mind," Victoria stared back to show that she didn't fear him, but Mykel couldn't be deceived. "I will take the Big Bosses under me and will report to me if they can't handle the rift. With that, I can guarantee you that everything will be fine here," she assured.

Mykel approached Victoria and stood right in front of him, looking down at her as he listened to her heartbeat. He smirked at her like he knew what she was actually feeling and could tell she was scared of him.

"Don't bite off more than you can chew. One day, you will choke and regret taking more than you should," Mykel warned and then left.

Victoria ignored Mykel's warning and believed he was scared of her growth and potential. She then left the basement and gathered all the Big Bosses since she was going to take them under her wings.

Mykel left after he got what he wanted, Zachary and Javelin also left since they had done what they came for. Sophia and the others also left after they heard about Victoria's plans to take over the island. They didn't want to get involved in that since they were sick of living on that island. They got a new life, a lot better than on the island, so they let her take the island for herself.

The days of vacation had come to an end, and Jessie and Henry were saddened that it was over. But Mykel and Elysande assured them that they could come back to the villa next month just the four of them. Also, Elysande planned to put them in a school since they were almost at the age to start studying and socializing.

When they came back to the palace, Elesrria didn't come to see them because she was busy. Mykel and Elestria went to Elestria's office to inform them that they had come back. When they entered the office, Elestria didn't greet them and she ignored them even though Elysande knew Elestria was acting weird.

"Can you leave us alone?" Elsyande asked and looked at everyone in the room who was handing documents to Elestria.

Everyone bowed their heads and left the office including Mykel. Elysande was staring at Elestria and not even once did she glance at her and ignore her completely.

"Are you angry with me?" Elysande asked and didn't dare to take a step forward.

"Why would I be angry at you?" Elestria asked as she grabbed one of the documents that was on top of the stack.

"We have been together for almost three decades. I know you more than anyone else. The only time you're ignoring me is when you're jealous of me because of your inferiority complex," Elysande answered with a serious expression.

Elestria was holding her anger when she heard about her inferiority complex that she had been trying to get rid of. Knowing Elysande mentioned it, Elestria realized that Elysande was disappointed in her and angry at her for ignoring her.

"Ester, we only have each other and we are supposed to rely on each other, not to ignore each other," Elsyande said.

"Are you sure about the first part?" Elestria scoffed and gave a cold and stern look at Elysande. "Don't you have Mykel now? You don't need me anymore," she added.

"What do you mean by th—" Elysande was interrupted by the sound of the table being slammed.

"Sister! You have to remember that Mykel belongs to me. He pleaded his loyalty to me, and if you can't even be honest to me, then don't blame me if I take him from you," Elestria threatened.

"I understand," Elysande closed her eyes. "If that's what you want, then I will stop seeing him from now on and let you have him. Please excuse me, Your Majesty," she bowed her head as she held her tears and then left.

Elestria was shocked and realized she had gone overboard for something trivial like that. She regretted saying that, and she didn't know what to do since it was the first time she saw Elysande like that.

Mykel was waiting in the hallway, and when Elysande encountered him, she shed a tear right in front of him. He tried to ask what had happened but Elysande told him that it was over for them and left hurriedly.

"Congratulations, you managed to break the unbreakable bond between those two," Aevia said.

"This is the best part of the plan," Mykel smirked as he walked back to his room.
