“Let go! Stand properly!” Beiming Yu pulls his arm back and adjusts his attire.

“What are you doing here?” Beiming Yu inquires in a deep voice.

“I came to stay for a few days! Home is so boring. Because of the embarrassment caused by Gu Qingxin at Grandpa’s last birthday banquet, mommy keeps nagging me every day, making it sound like I can’t get married. I don’t even want to marry those young gentlemen, I don’t care what those people think of me!” Beiming Shasha nonchalantly remarks.

“The incident last time had nothing to do with Gu Qingxin. You shot yourself in the foot! And mother is only looking out for your best interests!” Beiming Yu responds coldly.

“Oh, fourth brother, have you also been charmed by Gu Qingxin? What’s so good about her anyway!”

“If you want to stay here, keep those useless thoughts to yourself. I am not swayed by anyone, I simply speak the truth!” Beiming Yu frowns and shoots her a displeased look.

Beiming Shasha sticks out her tongue, careful not to speak recklessly anymore. Her fourth brother is now the president, although they’re siblings, she still needs to be mindful of her words and actions!

Beiming Yu heads to his study, and Beiming Shasha strolls around the mansion on her own. There, she spots the young lady of the Rong family, Rong Qianxia!

“Sister Qianxia, you came to see my fourth brother!” Beiming Shasha runs to join Rong Qianxia, linking arms with her.

“I have official business with his excellency.” Rong Qianxia replies with a smile.

“Oh… I see. After discussing official matters, you can talk about love and romance.”

“Stop talking nonsense, girl. Why would you be at the presidential mansion?” Rong Qianxia’s face blushes unintentionally.

“Well… I have nothing else to do. Unlike you, I have a job, so I just wander around everywhere.”

“I’ll go ahead then, we’ll have a chat later.”

“Okay, see you later, Sister Qianxia.” Beiming Shasha waves goodbye to her, going to find Firefox.

Beiming Han leaves Bai Qianqian’s ward with Gu Qingxin to have a meal. Gu Qingxin currently has no appetite to eat, and after much persistence from Beiming Han, she reluctantly finishes a bowl of porridge.

When the two return, Bai Qianqian is still unconscious. Seeing this, Gu Qingxin cannot set her mind at ease, compelling Beiming Han to arrange for her to stay in the next ward.

Beiming Han personally bathes her and carries her back to bed first before lying next to her.

“You don’t have to go back tonight?” Gu Qingxin raises her head to ask him.

“Do you want me to leave?” Beiming Han looks at her intensely.

Gu Qingxin shakes her head. Of course, she doesn’t want him to leave, especially now. With him around, she feels less afraid…

Unconsciously tightening her grip on his hand, Beiming Han smiles gently, and leaning down, he kisses her forehead, saying, “Sleep.”
