Demon King Who Will Rule the Infinite Worlds

Chapter 34: Chapter 34 - Seven Grand Aura

"Are you okay?" Cloud whispered. His arm was around Tifa's waist as he helped her walk across the grand halls of Camelot's Palace, "I am satisfied...not okay..."

The two of them were making their way to the Garden when they came across Arthur pacing in front of the garden's entrance.

"What's with you?"

"I could ask the same thing," Cloud noticed them too, seeing Tifa leaning on Cloud, unable to walk herself, sweat dripping down her cheek and neck.

"She's satisfied, not okay," Cloud repeated Tifa's words, teasing her. Tifa gave a pout that instantly turned into a smile when Arthur quickly came forward to help her to walk better.

"You look worried," she softly whispered to Arthur.

"Mother...did she miss me?" Arthur hesitantly asked, unsure why he was hesitating. It made Tifa smile. She yelped when Cloud abruptly swept her off her feet, making her giggle, "Cloud."

"Open the door," Cloud gestured to Arthur to open the door to the Garden, where Eve must be. Arthur smiled a little, taking a breath, he pushed the heavy doors. The first person he saw was Eve sitting across the table. Her hands wrapped a silver teacup as her golden hair danced with the soft breeze of the spring.

She sat with her back towards him, the end of her dress floating gently under the table. The sunrays fell on her, the blue butterflies danced over her hair. She looked lost in thought, too much to notice them. Arthur stepped towards her with mute steps, Cloud following him from behind, looking around, 'the Garden is bigger than I remember, did it change' it was a dome with the sky, clouds, and sun in the middle, "I like this place."

Tifa chuckled, "I love it."

Eve's ears perked up when she heard them talk. She looked over, her eyes fell on Arthur who abruptly hugged her from behind, "Mother," his voice was gentle, as gentle as he could muster, "welcome."

Eve smiled, her fingers softly touching Arthur's cheek, "Arthur..." her fingers softly touched his hair, caressing the golden locks, "thank you," she smiled.

"Mother..." Arthur pressed his face against her neck, hugging her tighter, "I missed you so much."

She pulled him in front of her and he knelt down, burying his face between her boobs, "I missed you too, Arthur."

"I am glad you're home. I am glad you came home to me," Arthur softly muttered. She kissed his head, letting him hold her a little longer. Her eyes went to Cloud, who helped Tifa sit down the chair but she was too hurt to sit. Tifa lay down in the grass instead while Cloud pulled the chair to sit beside her, scratching the back of his neck, "Sorry..."

"You forget about your recent increase in strength?" Eve guessed.

"No, this was done old fashioned way."

"Cloud," Tifa pouted in shame.

"Oh," Eve giggled. She stroked Arthur's hair, "Arthur...can you..."

"Mm," Arthur pulled away, giving her enough space so she could kneel beside Tifa. Eve placed her palm on Tifa's stomach, her aura seeping inside Tifa to heal her, "there you go."

"Thank you," Tifa groaned, twisting. The warmth spread through her body, her arms, legs, stomach, breasts, and her insides. The muscles healed, her vaginal pain disappeared, and her womb relaxed. It felt so good.

"How are you doing that?" this was the first time Cloud had seen usage of Aura since becoming a Progenitor. He possessed a different insight in its usage. It came to him naturally. He could control Aura the same way she was doing by just looking at it, but when he collected it on his palm, "How do you add the healing element?"

"Is that what the Progenitor trait does..." Arthur watched Cloud's palm. He wasn't envious, only curious, "No wonder every Noble wants a Phase 1 World. They have few abilities and it's easy to become a Progenitor, but Enhancement one get are a treasure to behold."

"I still can't do what she is doing," Cloud raised his brow.

"Yeah, I am curious too," Tifa sat up, all the pain had disappeared. Being a Demon, her body restored to the Prime Condition, she felt so strange when this happened, like a virgin, only her hymen hadn't restored but then all the memories of her acts would come pouring.

"Hehe," Arthur grinned with pride, "We call it Existence. The Essence of Beings. Like the Progenitor is an Existence beyond Race, Bloodline or Rank."

"His Majesty's Existence is known as The Defier. No can say he gained that Existence because he defied the God's Seal or Curse, whatever you want to call it or he was able to defy them because that's the kind of Existence he is," Arthur shrugged, "I personally believe he gained that Existence when he chose to defy the Gods. That's what allows him to use Aura outside his body even when he was Phase 1."

"What does it have to do with Eve?"

"Mother is quite famous. One because she is related to Two, now Three of the Six Godslayers."

"Am I...I am," Eve covered her mouth in realisation. Her big brother was one, then there was her Father and her Husband might be the strongest of them all.

Arthur awkwardly scratched his head, "Mother...don't tell me you didn't realise that until now?"

Eve fluttered her eyes, "I...never thought about that."

Arthur sighed, "Mother is famous. Too famous. Not only is she related to Three Godslayers, but her Existence is special. God's Favourite Daughter she's called. It's because of that Existence that she couldn't use Aura most of her life, but could accept it, and was immune to the side-effects of Aura from Phase 1, Phase 2 and certain Phase 3 individuals."

"Now that she can use Aura, she can tap into all Seven Grand Aura's very easily."

"Seven Grand Aura?" Tifa questioned, "Why haven't we heard about it?"

"It's taught when one reaches Phase 2," Arthur guessed, "I only know it because I learned everything about Mother when her marriage was decided."

"Creep," Cloud threw a jab at him.

"Shut up," Arthur grunted, pouting, "You'd have done the same."

Eve softly chuckled, sitting up on the chair along with Tifa. Arthur continued his explanation, "The Seven Grand Aura are Red Aura Users - Enhancers. All Demons in Phase 1 are Enhancers. The Red Aura augments Physical Strength, when they reach Phase 2, the Users can even Augment Specific Attribute. At Phase 3, they had even manipulated their Biology. This is why Existence like Progenitor are sought after."

"The Second of Seven Grand Aura. Orange Aura Users - Empaths. These type of Demons are strongest because they Empath deals with understanding and controlling Emotions. Far more than any Demon and they are able to sense a wide range of emotions. They are prone to becoming mentally sick and are sealed at birth since they can lose control every easily. They are specially trained with all the care to make sure a day comes when they can unseal their aura and regain their birthright."

"Make it short," Cloud wasn't in the mood to hear a lecture.

"Really? I haven't even started. Did you know His Majesty recently found out that Phase 1 Enhances can Augment specific attributes and their bodies will develop. Strength Augementation, Speed Augmentation, and stuff like that. And Empaths are best at controlling aura since they can connect with their aura better than anyone else, talk to spirits, and monsters-!"

Cloud could tell how excited Arthur was, "Still not in the mood to hear the lecture."

"Fine..." Arthur slumped his shoulders, "Third are Yellow Aura Users. Emitters - Aura Will users. They can change the shape of their aura to their will."

"Fourth are Green Aura Users. World Healers - Divine Light Users. They possess Demonic Divinity which allows them to heal all sorts of injuries, physical, spiritual, and such."

"Fifth are Blue Aura Users. Arcanist or Mages. The greatest of them all is Sir Ashwood, whose Ashwood Academy is the source of all Magical Knowledge in Haven. All Mages dream of studying there."

"Sixth are Indigo Users. Spiritualists or Psychics. They possess powers high spiritual abilities, mind's eye or psychic powers."

"Lastly are the Special Kind. Demi-Gods. The Born Enlightened. Very few such being exist, even if they do, they are hidden from the world. I haven't heard of one either. Though these are Grand Aura Paths, if you sharpen your Aura by using Sword, you awaken Sword Aura. If you sharpen is by music, then you can awaken something related to that. The Minor or Specilised Aura we call it. There are ton of them."

"Btw, our Aura is Demonic Aura, but we can awaken other kinds of Aura too. Like you might be able to awaken Zombie Aura now. It should be a dangerous type of Aura that poisons everyone in the vicinity," Arthur grinned.

"I didn't know there were so many kinds of Aura," Tifa muttered, "is there something like Fist Aura?"

"You can shape your Aura like a Fist and name it Fist Aura, but all the fighters use Chi/Ki Aura Type," Arthur suggested.

"Why didn't we hear of it before," Cloud glanced towards Tifa. He knew how hard she was working to train.

"Um...maybe because Demons lack urgency? None of them want to fight right now with anyone. Everyone who wanted to make trouble made it during the Era of King Uther. Those who still did were exiled by His Majesty. Next few hundred years are going to be a peaceful period," Arthur scratched his cheek, "I even learned of this when I wanted to grow stronger. After you guys left."

"Why keep it a secret?" Eve had been silently listening.

"I asked the same thing, mother," Arthur grinned, joyed that they shared it, "it's so people don't take the wrong path. If one knows what all Aura types there are, and which one are the strongest, they would keep chasing after what is not meant to be instead of what is best for them. It's natural for Demons to awaken Aura attributes when they reach Phase 2. It's best to let them reach Phase 2, by that point they must have explored and developed enough to know what their heart desires."

"Sometimes wanting, or living your whole life a certain way isn't enough. It is also important that it aligns with your heart too, not just your mind. At times, there are few Demons who force it and they fall into Darker Version of this Aura. Like Dark Ki users," Arthur shook his head, "there are books written on the mysteries of Aura. There are too many times, too many variations, too many methods. I nearly lost all hope from what I read."

"Then Eve can use any Aura?" Cloud guessed after taking in all the new information.

"No, Mother can attune herself with any of the Six Grand Aura, any other than Demi-God Aura and at a very basic level. Then again, it might be because she's at Phase 1. Her true powers will become apparent when she she reaches Phase 2 and her gift allows her to use these Aura to a higher level," Arthur smugly grinned.

"I had no idea," Eve whispered under her breath, "I only knew I could do it...not all what I can..."

'Even Heaven's Mind didn't tell me...'

"Mother, it's best not to focus on Seven Grand Aura. They are easy to learn, impossible to master. People chase after them and lose the sight of what's unique about them," Arthur took her hand, warning her like he was, "That's why Father or Uncle didn't tell you. It's not our time."

"Now that we are going to be working to take control of the New Continent, there will be plenty of time to explore Aura," Arthur reassured her, grinning brightly.

"Ugh, who said you are coming," Cloud shot down all his dreams with a single sentence.

Arthur's eyes went wide. He gripped Eve's hand, putting them on his cheek, "Mother, you are taking me right?!"

"I am going?" Eve questioned in amazement, "Won't I be in the way?"

"Yeah, you can't stay here," Arthur said as the matter of fact. He looked around to check if there were any guard before whispering, "while you were gone there were more than a few marriage proposals for Father. Nobles are pushing for a few older Nobility women who have reached Phase 3. There is a world where these 7 items exists. When brought together, it can cause a miracle to happen. Nobles wants these New Bride to lead the Expedition so she can ask for the Miracle of a Child between her and His Majesty."

"They wouldn't!" Tifa abruptly stood up. She looked towards Eve, whose face had gone blank from the news.

"His Majesty's child...?"

"Why can't they just take Eve with them? When the time comes she can bear the child," Cloud leaned back on the chair, crossing his arms.

Eve looked towards Arthur, filled with hope. She hadn't even taken in the news, but the moment she heard it she knew, 'I want to...have His Majesty's child.'

"Too many risks. It's a Phase 3 World, no one knows what they might find there. It might be too dangerous for someone in Phase 1 or 2. Even Phase 3 will have to tiptoe around there. It will take years and if they manage to gather the 7 Items and wish for it, then we can't be sure it will work the same way the Miracle of True Love works. Miracle of True Love allows the mother to give birth to the child of even the Demon King without the child's power or Aura killing her. That's why it's a Miracle. If, the Miracle is incomplete, if the wish isn't wished just right...it's too much of a risk," Arthur lowered his eyes in sadness.

"The women who have come forward have done so knowing this might lead to their death. It's for the good of our world, people and Kingdom," he tried to reason with Eve.

"I know..." Eve tried to smile through everything she felt when Tifa pulled her chair closer and hugged her from the side.

"You talk too much, Arthur."

Arthur tensed up, nearly jumping out of his chair. A hand pressed on his head, keeping him sitting. Eve, Tifa and Cloud were the same from unexpected visit, all four of them looked towards the man with snow-white hair towering behind Arthur.

"Your Majesty!"

"Your Majesty," Cloud awkwardly said, unlike Tifa and Eve, who stood up in his presence.

"Father," Arthur nervously looked at him, "I...um..uh..."

"It's okay," King Aurum walked around the table. He stopped in front of Eve, reaching his hand out towards her.

"Your Majesty," Eve lowered her head, taking his head.

"Eve, I told you. I am a King first. There will be a decision I would have to make because it would be better for my people, my King, for Haven."

"I understand..."

"That's why," he circled his arms around her waist, pulling her into a hug. He ran his fingers through her golden hair. She closed her eyes, she could tell there was something he wanted to say, tell her when his emotions took an abrupt turn.

"Don't you think that's a bad end?"

"What?" Eve looked up in surprise.

Aurum smirked, "I have been reading manga that you brought back from this world. Don't you think it's like the beginning of a bad end? Nobles want me to have a child, and then they force this innocent woman to bear it, who dies as the price of a miracle, and her son or daughter learns of it when they grow up. With my great heritage and inheriting his or her mother's powers along with mine and even the Pendragon Dynasty, he or she might take revenge on the Kingdom. See, bad end, don't you think?"

Eve parted her lips, her jaw nearly dropped, "aha...aahhahahaha," she burst into laughter, burying her face in his chest, "I can't believe you said that."

"I am learning for the new cultures too," he stroked her head with a wide smile on his lips.

"You have corrupted, Your Majesty," Eve looked up from his goofy antics.

"That's only a start of bad ends My Lady. What if you become stubborn and try the same, as a result it leads to your death and your daughter, who looks exactly like you and reminds me of you everyday. I couldn't bear to look at her. I'd keep her isolated and close my heart. What if I become a Tyrant. That's bad for my people."

Eve covered her mouth, her shoulders shook from the laugh she held back, "you are the worst! How could you treat my daughter like that."

"It would pain me, but it would pain me more to not have you by my side and be reminded of it every second," he softly whispered in the most loving voice.

"I don't believe it for a second that you would become a tyrant," Eve whispered back in his ear.

"I just might..."

"What's the good ending, then?" Eve looked up at him, her eyes filled with curiosity.

"By the Miracle of Goddess of Love, we have a child..."

"That does...sound good," Eve rested her forehead on his chest, "it does..."

"Go on the expedition with Cloud and grow stronger, Eve. Stronger you are, more we can try for our little miracle."

"Mm," Eve blushed, looking up at him with her pinkish face. She placed her palms on his cheeks. She pecked his lips, "Yes, if you promise to leave right now!" She ran behind him, trying to push him out of her, dying of embarrassment.

He chuckled, "Yes, My Lady," he walked past Tifa and Cloud, both who looked stunned like they had seen a ghost.

"Pretend you didn't see anything."

"Uh..." The two of them were speechless as he left.

Tifa gripped on Arthur's clothes, whispering in a high pitch, "what was that? Who was that?! How come his personality changed so much?!"

"Hehe," Arthur grinned, "That was how brother usually is. He became as serious as he could after he became the King and Majestic but before that he used to run around being goofy all that time. He even gave up his Blessed Fate because he didn't want to lose his precious freedom."

Arthur's smile dimmed, "If...King Uther hadn't forced his hand...then brother never would have...I mean Father never would become the King...or lost His Precious Freedom...he would still be like that. Like the Sun and Wind, ever bright, ever free. The Endless Sky...they called him..."

A tear dripped down his cheek.

"Arthur..." Tifa stroked his shoulder.

"It's nothing..." Arthur wiped his tear, "I miss him. It was only for a few moments...it was nice to see him..."

Eve gently hugged his head, "One day...one day he'd be like that again, all the time. I promise."

Arthur grinned through the tears, "I know. I'll become stronger, much stronger and take the Throne for myself. Then I'll kick him out!"

Eve giggled, "that sounds perfect."

"I need to grow stronger too. Now that Cloud has left us all in the dust," Tifa tucked her hands behind her back, smiling, "Let's do it together."

"We need someone who could teach us more about Aura," Tifa tilted her head, "You have anyone in mind?"

"Aura would take too much time for us. We should focus on the energy in this New World," Arthur suggested.

"What energy?"

"Chakra."
