Lucius saw Riviera raise her weapon in his direction as he prepared, watching her chant at high speed, making it difficult for even Lucius to understand her words.

His body began to glow as he used Support Spell / Strength Amplifier and Support Spell / Speed Amplifier, increasing both his strength and agility by 10%. He also used Alteration Spell / Mental Focus and prepared for the confrontation against his lover.

"Wynn Fimbulvetr!" Riveria shouted as a storm of ice formed, targeting Lucius.

Riveria watched the entire area being taken over by her ice while her eyes were fixed on Lucius, who was teleporting everywhere, trying to see the distortions in space to predict where he would appear next.

Lucius had teleported to her right side, trying to catch her once and for all and prevent her from getting hurt too much in the confrontation, aiming to paralyze her. But as soon as he reappeared at the spot, Riveria pointed at him before he reached the center of the storm, making Lucius surprised to see an attack coming his way.

"She knew where I was going to appear..." Lucius murmured, teleporting away to avoid the spell and reappearing on another side, while another attack came his way. This time, he didn't teleport but launched a fireball, which exploded against Riveria's spell in the middle of the storm, with a sound that even drowned out the storm. He stood behind the explosion, in the middle of the snow, watching her as he floated, his cape billowing.

"Incredible! You even managed to find a way to counter my most-used spell. You truly are unique, Riveria..." Lucius said, with a serious look. Riveria kept her sharp gaze as well.

"Now, let's truly take this fight to a new level." He declared, although he didn't want to drag it out for too long, and disappeared in the next moment, while Riveria searched for any distortion in space.

Lucius had also understood how she was doing it and resolved to end this easily. He reappeared in her blind spot, and she sensed him with her instincts. She tried to turn around, but in the next moment, she felt a pressure coming from Lucius, who was using a gravitational spell he had used on her before. Since she didn't have a body as strong as a warrior's, she was at a disadvantage.

Lucius raised his hand, charging the spell to strengthen himself while he absorbed the energy from Riveria's spell using "Mana Zone," further empowering the sky.

"He's using my spell to trap me...?" Riveria thought, feeling even more stunned as she recognized the magical talent her lover possessed. It was no wonder she admired him.

But she was also the elven princess of the strongest lineage of all. Quickly, she began to cast a spell right there, surrounding Lucius with magic descending from the sky. He had to teleport to avoid being hit, but wherever he stopped, a lightning bolt would descend from the sky towards him, as Riveria had already calculated.

At one point, he let his guard down and took the hit directly, an explosion erupted, and Riveria allowed herself to be a bit worried, even if he was her enemy at this moment.

"Lucius...?!" She murmured, genuinely concerned about hurting him, since this spell was stronger than the one she used when he saw her bathing before they truly became lovers.

"You shouldn't be so distracted in a fight..." Because she had been distracted, she didn't even notice Lucius reappearing behind her, slightly injured. She tried to turn her staff, but it was quickly held by Lucius's hand, as he embraced her and pulled her against his chest.

"You have a very kind heart, Riveria. I admire that in you, but I expected more from this fight... It's a shame we can't fight with all our strength, as you still don't seem ready for that..." Lucius whispered.

After all, she had been distracted enough after worrying about him. He thought her concern was unnecessary; after all, even though he might have taken the hit, he quickly recovered with healing spells, while his clothes were also neatly fixed in front of him with another manually cast spell.

Riveria saw the disappointment in Lucius's eyes, and it ignited something within her. She wanted to prove herself stronger and tried a quick escape, starting to chant another spell to break free from the light. But what she didn't expect was that Lucius knew the secret to block all her spells once and for all.

She didn't even realize there was no longer ground beneath her feet when her lips were captured by Lucius's, her eyes widening in shock at the sudden kiss. He stayed there as she looked up at him, searching for an answer, but she was stunned when she couldn't chant any spells, as her voice was trapped in his mouth.

Lucius seemed quite satisfied with this and did not hesitate to advance his tongue into her mouth at that moment, making things more intense with his lover, as they stood face-to-face, with him exploring her mouth.

Riveria grew more and more embarrassed, looking at Lucius with mixed feelings of anger and confusion, until her eyes closed, and she ended up pressing her lips against his, giving her tongue as well. After all, they were lovers and had awakened intense feelings for each other.

Now it was just the two of them, with no attacks against one another as their kisses continued in the middle of that night, still enveloped by Riveria's spell. No one knew what was happening inside; they could only see the snow mist around the building, knowing that Lucius Drakenar and Riveria, the elven princess, were there.

Lucius slowly let go of Riveria, and she fell into his arms as the elf looked at him with an intense gaze, feeling strong emotions.

"Why are you doing all this tonight?" She murmured, wanting answers, knowing no one could interrupt them there.

"I never told you, but I had made friends with the Xenos. They are much more than monsters; they can speak and act like us. I have some theories, but this isn't something to discuss now. What I want to tell you is that they are my friends, and I intend to protect them. That's why I tried to rescue that out-of-control Vouivre in the city, which ended up resulting in the fight we had." Lucius explained.

Riveria shook her head, still unsatisfied.

"No, it's not just that... this whole mess you've been causing, chaos throughout the entire night, from what I could see," she murmured. She was, of course, intrigued by the Xenos, but still concerned for Lucius. He shook his head before continuing.

"We were fighting against all the remaining Evilus in Orario..." he commented.

"You mentioned this before, but... is it true? Are you behind the death of the gods? Were the Evilus gods the ones who died?" She asked, looking at him carefully.

"Yes. Since the night, we have been fighting against them. But the deaths of the gods had nothing to do with us. After all, all the Xenos were on the surface. That, too, is a mystery to me..." Lucius spoke, intending to investigate as soon as he got out of this fight.

Riveria nodded as she moved closer to his chest, resting her face against it while Lucius kept his hand above her rear.

"Lucius, I'm afraid you might become a criminal now. You know your family is in big trouble after everything that happened..." she murmured, and Lucius nodded, fully aware of it.

"Yes, that's true, but I'll handle it, Riveria. Just wait for me," he said, kissing her face and hugging her tightly.

"I will always wait for you, you idiot!" she murmured, looking at him, and once more, she kissed him amidst the chaos as the spell began to fade away.

"When this is all over, if everything turns out well, how about we take a vacation?" he said, brushing his lips against hers again.

"I'll have to speak with my family..." she murmured, "but yes, it will probably be possible." She said, trying to think about finally stepping away from her obligations for a while. Maybe a little vacation wouldn't be a bad idea, alone with this human.

Lucius was about to respond, but he was interrupted as the entire Orario trembled at that moment, while an explosive sound erupted from a creature much more abominable than anything that had appeared that night.

ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR 

The sound reverberated throughout the city, sending a chill down the spines of all its inhabitants. Even the gods looked in the direction of the slums with a certain apprehension, as they did not know what was there, but it was certainly unlike anything that had happened so far, and they felt threatened.

Lucius and Riveria were interrupted as they looked toward it; the roar wasn't far from them.

"What is that?" Riveria murmured, looking to Lucius for answers.

"That's not a Xenos..." Lucius said, gazing in that direction before narrowing his eyes. "It's something much worse. Why... why is that creature here now?" He murmured, as the deaths of the gods quickly made sense.

"So it was him who killed them... well, I'm not surprised, but still, I'm concerned." Lucius continued before turning back to Riveria. "If this creature is truly here in Orario, we need to join forces to defeat it, for it will kill Xenos, humans, and all adventurers, regardless of their class..." He spoke with a serious tone, unsure which floor this Juggernaut was born on. After all, the deeper the floor where it was born, the worse it would be, and this one seemed worse than those they had faced in the coliseum floor.

Some time ago, the gate of Knossos had been opened, and the place was stained with blood on all sides, with dismembered corpses and gruesome deaths. There stood a creature, looking up, directly at the moon above Orario, its claws and teeth covered in the blood of its victims. Not even the gods had been spared, having met terrible fates they never would have imagined in the mortal world. But the creature just stared at the moon, unmoving, while the battles outside continued.

'I must move forward... I must leave the dungeon, the embrace of my mother,' it murmured to itself mentally, as it thought. But the explosions continued outside. "It calls to me... after all, I was created for a purpose, and now I can no longer remain in the dungeon." It concluded.

'Yes, I must go. I must fulfill my mission. I must kill the one my mother wants dead...' It thought, after debating for long minutes whether it should leave or not.

Then, its steps began to move forward, as it saw the human city for the first time in its existence. It observed the place with curious eyes before remembering why it was there. Then, its roar echoed, warning everyone that it was there to kill them, and it would not leave anyone alive.
