Daisy Love Story

Chapter 2: Chapter-02

Dressed in a white dress, the little girl thought there would be a party for her seventh birthday. His mother told him that his seventh birthday would be celebrated very lavishly and big. Inviting many people who will come to the party. Of course the little girl smiled happily, she looked impatient to attend her birthday party. Dressing up as beautifully as possible to welcome the guests and also her birthday present.

"Mami... my school friends are coming too, right?" Asked the little girl hopefully

Her mother smiled sadly, her tears flowing endlessly. It was as if the tears were describing how devastated her mother was after this event.

"Mami why are you crying anyway, happy yes, Naura is having a birthday." Said the little girl named Naura.

Lita, wiped her tears slowly. Then rubbed Naura's cheeks gently. "Mami is crying happy, not crying sad. How the hell are you."

Naura chuckled. "I think Mami is sad because it's my birthday.

Lita shook her head, and she asked Naura to get ready first. Soon the event will begin, and the birthday party will take place with great fanfare. Without Naura realizing that the event that took place was not in the capital, but in a neighboring country where things like this were legalized. There are so many marriages of young children at a young age because of parental arranged marriages. Likewise with Naura who was suddenly matched because of their grandparents' agreement. The grandfather of the boy was dying, and asked to see their grandchildren married in front of the grandfather. Hence, whatever happens this marriage must occur with a birthday frill. Moreover, this marriage took place on Naura's birthday.

Feeling it, Lita took Naura out of the hotel room. Downstairs there were lots of people who had gathered, from the family and also some business colleagues from the male side. You know, Naura's family is not from a wealthy family. Even though her life is sufficient, Naura is different from other children. Who can only ask, Naura even though she asks for pocket money that is given, she always saves it.

"Waw ... cool Mi place." Praise Naura unconsciously.

"Yes. Do you like it?"

Naura nodded. "I really like it. But ...," Naura stopped her steps looking straight ahead and didn't find the cake at all. Looking here and there Naura also did not find a line of cakes or snacks that were usually arranged neatly for guests. It only contained people sitting neatly and smiling at Naura. Maybe because ... "Is there really no cake?" Naura asked curiously.

Lita stuttered to find the right reason. But the next second she was scratching the nape of her neck which was not itchy at all. "It's in there. Come forward first, stand next to the boy to make a promise. Only then will you get your birthday cake, Nau." He said.

Naura, who was already happy because it should also be her birthday, obeyed whatever her mother said. Standing next to the man and looking at the boy curiously. It was her birthday. Why did she have to stand next to the boy?

"Alright... let's start the wedding."

At once Naura's tears fell slowly. Although she was only seven years old, Naura knew very well what marriage was. Living together like her papi and mami who live in one house.

"Mami ... Naura doesn't want to get married." She whined and cried.

The nightmare happened again to Naura. She had tried to forget the bitter memories of her life twenty years ago. Where her parents lied to Naura about her birthday. Supposedly, that day was a happy day in Naura's life about her age increasing by one year. But instead Naura was forced to marry someone whose face she didn't even know what it looked like. Naura was too busy crying, so she couldn't see clearly. And until this moment Naura does not know who the person who married her as a child is. According to Naura, the marriage was not legal at all.

Tidying up his suit, Naura immediately went to the office. Care about the devil with all that, what is clear is that her age is ripe and Naura must immediately look for a real husband. It's just that until this moment there is not a single person who wants to get close to Naura, for whatever reason but it really happens.

Twenty-five minutes later, Naura finally arrived at the office. Lots of people greeted her when passing through the office corridor and lobby. So far no one has dared with Naura, whatever the woman orders is certainly patent for them.

"Good morning Mrs. Naura." Greeted one of the employees when they were in the same elevator.

"Good morning!" As usual a greeting reply that has no smile at all on Naura's face. That's what makes everyone afraid of Naura.

The sound of the elevator door made Naura look up, staring at the number of floors she had to get off. But unfortunately when she knew that the person standing in front of her was someone she didn't want to meet, Naura finally decided to get out first. However, just a few steps someone held her hand pulling Naura's hand back into the elevator of this office with perfect glaring eyes.

"You-" Naura's words had to be cut off when she saw that there were still several other employees in the same elevator. Inevitably the woman could only hold her emotions from breaking out. "Can't you be a little polite?"

Gibran. Smiling. Yes, that person was Gibran who suddenly entered the employee elevator unexpectedly. "Your suit button got caught on my suit, that's why it got pulled in, right?"

What nonsense!!! That's what Naura thought. He thought Naura was a boy yesterday afternoon who was said to be so slim to believe and apologize? Sorry yes, that's not something Naura should do in front of many people. Let alone in public, alone with Gibran, Naura also refused to apologize, let alone this!!!

"Hih sir doesn't make sense."

"Just look if you don't believe me!!!"

With her innocent face, Naura looked at her suit button with a wrinkled forehead. Then she looked at Gibran's suit button with an innocent face too. How could both buttons get stuck? Maybe if there was a thread it could still be thought of logically, but this was a button that was stuck. Is it possible that the button Gibran was referring to was a magical button?
