Coiling Dragon: Reborn As The Armored Razorback Wyrm

Chapter 34: Chapter 34: Fain Concedes, Heidens Flees

Sadius had no intention of letting this battle end without fully pushing himself to the limit.

What a joke!

He had never provoked any human forces outside of the Radiant Church, yet War God Mountain had self-righteously intervened to suppress him.

This was nothing more than might makes right.

There was no way Sadius would let this battle end unless Fain surrendered or ran away.

But as the War God's chief disciple, a Prime Saint powerhouse, how could Fain possibly surrender?

Many other Saints were watching—he would never tarnish his reputation like that.

Thus, the battle dragged on.

To outside observers, it seemed as though neither side could gain the upper hand.

But Fain was miserable.

He knew that Sadius was using him as a training dummy—refining his sword techniques through combat!

Meanwhile, Sadius was ecstatic.

After countless exchanges, he had found the key connections between his three Profound Mysteries.

From this battle alone, he created three powerful sword techniques:

Devouring Earth Slash – A fusion of the Essence of Darkness Profound Mystery and Throbbing Pulse of the World Profound Mystery.

Phantom Execution Slash – A fusion of the Essence of Darkness Profound Mystery and Slaughter Sword Path Profound Mystery.

Destructive Earth Slash – A fusion of the Throbbing Pulse of the World and Slaughter Sword Path Profound Mystery.

Each move had its own unique strengths.

From this moment on, these three techniques would become Sadius' ultimate sword skills.

"Fain, thank you for helping me create these three techniques! Now, let me test them on you!"

Fain's heart trembled.

He had been a Prime Saint for countless years, yet he had only developed a few personal techniques.

But this magical beast—in just a short time—had crafted three new ultimate sword techniques!

What kind of monstrous talent was this?!

Sadius took a step back, then thrust his claw forward, his fingertips glowing with terrifying energy.

Each of his three sword techniques contained three types of energy—but with different types of Profound Mystery's fused together.

The first to be unleashed—

"Devouring Earth Slash!"

The attack surged forth—heavy, sinister, and crushing.

BOOM!

Fain's fist met the attack—but for the first time, he felt his arm tremble violently, as if about to break apart!

Before he could recover—

"Phantom Execution Slash!"

This attack wasn't as overwhelmingly powerful—but it was insidious.

The blade of sword energy phased through his physical body—directly striking his soul!

A soul attack!

Although the damage was small, it was enough to make even Fain feel an eerie chill crawl up his spine.

If this had been a weaker Saint, they might have died instantly.

Fain's face darkened.

And before he could react—

"Destructive Earth Slash!"

This was the most terrifying of the three.

A single slash—seemingly capable of shattering the very world itself.

BANG!

Fain's body was sent flying!

No one could believe it.

Fain—one of the only Prime Saint powerhouses on Yulan Continent—was forced back by a mere Peak Saint Stage magical beast?!

"Did I… just defeat a Prime Saint?" Sadius thought, stunned.

"This beast is already at the Prime Saint level in terms of combat!" Heidens despaired.

But then—

Fain steadied himself and flew back.

He looked at Sadius and suddenly… smiled.

"Sadius… you win."

Sadius' expression twisted.

This old bastard…

"You're just going to give up like that?"

Fain shrugged. "Defeat is defeat. What does it matter?"

"Hah! I never thought someone like you could surrender so easily! No wonder you've never become a Deity!"

Fain's expression darkened.

For a moment, he felt an urge to fight to the death.

But then, he remembered something—his anger faded.

He sighed.

"I won't interfere in your war with the Radiant Church anymore. I suspect we'll have many more battles in the future."

Sadius rolled his eyes.

"More battles?"

"By the time I reach the Deity-level, I'll slaughter your War God O'Brien first. Then I'll stomp you into the ground."

For now, although he had an advantage, he couldn't kill Fain.

But one day…

One day, he would kill him.

Meanwhile, Heidens watched Fain withdraw from the battle, and his heart plummeted into despair.

"M-Master Fain…"

The mighty Pope of the Radiant Church was now pleading for help.

But Fain barely spared him a glance.

"Heidens… I've already lost to Sadius. There's nothing more I can do for you. You're on your own."

With that, Fain transformed into lightning and vanished into the horizon.

Heidens' entire body trembled.

It was over.

The Radiant Church was finished.

And more importantly—

Heidens was finished.

Sadius gazed down from above, radiating absolute dominance.

"Heidens." His voice was cold.

"Begging for mercy?"

"Sadius, please… spare me!"

"You think you still have a chance to live?"

"I—I can surrender all of the Radiant Church's lands to you! You can have as much as you want!"

Sadius laughed disdainfully.

"I'll take whatever I want from the Church anyway. I don't need your permission."

"I—I can give you all the Church's treasures!"

"Killing you gets me those treasures anyway."

Heidens' face contorted in fury.

"Sadius! Must you truly force me to death?!"

"You forced this death upon yourself through your actions today."

Heidens erupted with Holy Light, transforming into a streak of golden energy, fleeing northward at full speed.

"Escape? You think you can escape?!"

Sadius chased after him immediately.

Today, Heidens would die—no matter what.

The two streaked across the skies, flying northward at incredible speed.

Sadius quickly realized—

"Damn it. He's trying to escape the Yulan Plane!"

Heidens was aiming for the Planar Teleportation Array.

It was his only chance.

If he reached the The Arctic Icecap, he could enter the Divine Plane of Light and survive.

But Sadius refused to let him go.

No matter how far Heidens ran, he would chase him to the ends of the earth.

The landscape grew colder.

Snow began to fall from the sky—they were nearing the Northern Seas.

At last—

A massive, frozen tundra appeared before them.

In the distance, an ancient teleportation array stood on the ice, guarded by a powerful figure.

Heidens cried out desperately—

"Lord Hodan, save me! I swear loyalty to the Light God Realm!"
