6. Qualitative Transformation of Martial Soul.

[Douluo Continent, Heaven Dou Empire, Heaven Dou City, Dugu Mansion...]

Now that the decision was final, Dugu Chen didn't hesitate to feed the Dragon Heart Core Transcendence Pill to his Niffler. The small creature sniffed at the pill curiously before nibbling on it.

Once it had consumed the pill, Dugu Chen took a few steps back, his eyes fixed on his Martial Soul with rapt anticipation.

Moments later, his Niffler began to glow with a brilliant golden light. Waves of Soul Power erupted from its small frame, spreading throughout the room in pulses that felt almost alive. The energy was dense, carrying an oppressive yet invigorating aura, causing the air to hum with power.

The adults distanced themselves from the Niffler, using their own Soul Power to shield themselves from the potent force radiating from the creature.

The Niffler's form began to change slightly. Its fur shimmered as golden streaks interwoven with its natural black.

Suddenly, the aura shifted as a loud yet melodious hum echoed in the room. The dragon-shaped pattern on the pill reappeared, wrapping around the Niffler like a coiling serpent before merging into its body. At the same time, a low dragon-like roar reverberated through the air, sending chills down everyone's spines.

The vast amount of Soul Power that the Niffler had been projecting moments ago began to reverse course, flowing back into its small yet increasingly majestic form. It wasn't just reclaiming its own energy—astonishingly, it was actively pulling in Soul Power from the surrounding environment.

The ambient energy in the room seemed to ripple and swirl as it was drawn toward the creature, creating a vortex-like phenomenon centered on the Niffler.

This sudden absorption created a visible distortion in the air, and the adults could feel the pull even within their own Soul Power reserves, though it wasn't enough to harm them.

The process was both mesmerizing and unsettling, as the room grew slightly dimmer, the energy converging into the Niffler and being refined into something more potent.

"It's not just absorbing—it's refining the Soul Power, increasing its quality and potency!" Dugu Bo suddenly exclaimed, his tone laced with astonishment.

Everyone was watching intently as the Niffler's aura grew denser and more controlled with each passing second.

The phenomenon continued for several moments before the Niffler's glow began to stabilize, the swirling energy dissipating as it fully integrated the absorbed power. Its small body radiated a newfound strength and vitality, its transformation seemingly complete.

As the light faded fully, the Niffler quickly returned to Dugu Chen's side. Dugu Chen picked it up and examined its changed appearance.

Its claws now had a metallic sheen to them. Additionally, he saw that on its back, there was now a golden pattern in the shape of a Dragon, indicating that it had successfully integrated with the Dragon's Bloodline.

"It worked!" Dugu Xin exclaimed as he also noticed the dragon pattern, "Your Martial Soul has successfully integrated the pill's essence."

Mo Ying, who had been silently observing, let out a breath she hadn't realized she was holding.

Dugu Chen was also very excited at the moment as he held the Niffler high in the air and started laughing happily.

He could sense it—a subtle yet profound shift in his bond with his Martial Soul. It wasn't merely stronger; it felt vividly alive, more than he had ever imagined possible.

He could now perceive its emotions with remarkable clarity, and with just a thought, he could even share its senses, experiencing the world through its eyes. The depth of their connection had transcended anything he had known before.

Moreover, his mind felt sharper and more focused than ever before, as though a heavy veil had been lifted. Long-forgotten memories became clearer, rising to the forefront of his thoughts with astonishing detail. It was as if the fog that once obscured his past had completely dissipated, allowing him to recall even the smallest nuances of his experiences.

He remembered fragments of knowledge, skills, and insights that he had barely grasped before, now fully accessible and coherent. The sensation was both exhilarating and overwhelming, like unlocking a treasure chest brimming with untapped potential.

It wasn't just his past memories; his ability to process information in real-time had also surged.

Even his perception also seemed to have increased massively. Every detail of his surroundings seemed to stand out with newfound clarity—colors appeared more vivid, sounds crisper, and even the faintest movements in the room caught his attention.

It was as if his entire perception of the world had been heightened to an extraordinary degree, granting him an acute awareness he had never experienced before.

'Could it be that my Martial Soul's core attribute is primarily spiritual in nature?' Dugu Chen's brows were furrowing in deep thought, 'And now, after consuming the Dragon Heart Core Transcendence Pill, that spiritual attribute has undergone a qualitative transformation, evolving into what could only be described as the Ultimate Spiritual Attribute?'

He paused, his mind racing as he considered the implications. The term "Ultimate Attribute" wasn't just a casual description; it represented the pinnacle of any attribute, transcending the natural limits of conventional power.

If his Martial Soul now possessed the Ultimate Spiritual Attribute, it meant that its capabilities in the realms of perception, mental acuity, and spiritual resonance had reached an unparalleled level.

Consequently, he would have a much harder time increasing his Soul Power Rank until he reached Rank 70.

'The Ultimate Spiritual Attribute might explain why my connection with my Martial Soul has grown so profound,' he continued, glancing at the Niffler perched on his shoulder, 'Not only can I sense its emotions and share its senses, but the clarity of my thoughts and the vividness of my perceptions are beyond anything I've experienced before. This isn't just an enhancement—it's a complete metamorphosis of my Martial Soul's foundation.'

The thought left him both exhilarated and slightly overwhelmed.

The next moment, he shared the changes he sensed within himself with his parents and grandfather, except for his conjecture about the Ultimate Spiritual Attribute as this concept hadn't yet been invented in this era.

Dugu Bo, Dugu Xin, and Mo Ying listened intently, their expressions a mix of astonishment and joy. Dugu Bo was the first to speak, stroking his chin thoughtfully. "This... it seems that the pill's effect of increasing affinity for all elements had an extraordinary effect on your original Martial Soul's Spiritual Attribute."

Dugu Bo's eyes gleamed with curiosity as a thought struck him. Turning to Dugu Chen, he said with an encouraging tone, "Chen'er, this sense-sharing ability you mentioned, why not try it now? Let's see how it actually works."

Dugu Chen nodded, also eager to see how this would go. He focused his thoughts, directing them toward the unique connection he now shared with his Niffler Martial Soul. It was as if a mental pathway opened between them, vivid and dynamic.

The Niffler tilted its head, seemingly understanding what Dugu Chen was trying to do, and gave a soft chirp of approval.

Suddenly, it was as if a mental switch was flipped and his perception shifted. It was an entirely new perspective—his own body faded from prominence as he began seeing the room through the Nifler's eyes.

The world looked sharper and more vibrant. Colors were more vivid, and even the smallest details, like the faint grain of wood in the furniture, stood out with striking clarity. His hearing changed too; he could hear faint sounds, like the distant rustling of leaves outside, which he wouldn't have noticed otherwise.

Even more astonishing was the newfound ability to sense the presence of different Soul Power attributes in the surroundings. Though the quantities were minuscule, he could distinctly feel their unique qualities.

Fire had a faint warmth that was almost imperceptible but still present, while water carried a cool, fluid energy. Earth exuded a stable and grounding essence, and Wind had an elusive, fleeting quality. This multidimensional awareness was entirely new and left him awestruck.

"It's incredible," Dugu Chen murmured as he shared his discovery, "Not only can I see and hear everything more clearly, but I can also sense traces of Soul Power attributes in the surroundings. It's like seeing an invisible layer of the world that I never even knew existed."

The Niffler, still linked to him, chirped excitedly, seemingly proud of its contribution.

Dugu Xin crouched down, watching Mochi intently. "This level of perception... Father, you can anticipate how incredible this ability is, right?

"Detecting even faint traces of Soul Power attributes could give him the ability to anticipate enemy techniques or locate hidden Soul Beasts by identifying unusual concentrations of attributed Soul Power in the environment."

Dugu Bo, who had been quietly observing, nodded solemnly. "Indeed. This ability is really incredible. If honed properly, it could make Chen'er an unparalleled tracker or combatant."

Mo Ying, too, looked impressed, though her concern for her son shone through as she advised, "Chen'er, your Martial Soul is very amazing now, but you must practice caution. Such a unique Martial Soul might attract unwanted attention if too much information about it is revealed.

"Unless absolutely necessary, you shouldn't expose your Martial Soul's uniqueness to others."

Dugu Chen nodded, taking her advice to heart, "I understand, Mother. I'll train and explore my Martial Soul's capabilities in private only."

The Niffler chirped once more, also expressing its agreement with Dugu Chen's promise.
