The eyes of the assembled Gods turned towards the entrance—some amused, some disdainful, some curious.

A slender figure stood there, a young man with silver hair and gray eyes.

As the Gods focused their attention on him, an oppressive divine aura filled the room, the very air crackling under the pressure.

The atmosphere grew heavy, stifling, as if the space itself were solidifying.

Shiva's eyes narrowed slightly, a flicker of surprise in them.

Haru, completely unfazed by the combined might of the Gods' auras, walked towards him, the air around him cracking and shattering as he moved.

He reached the center of the room, pulled up a rosewood chair beside Shiva, sat down, propped his feet up on the table, and casually surveyed the Gods.

The room fell silent.

As the de facto leader of the remnants of the Biblical God's faction, Haru's presence at the head of the table was… expected.

But not every host was entitled to the center seat, especially not in this company.

This was a gathering of the leaders of the various pantheons—the rulers of Heaven, the Underworld, and the Human world.

Only seven beings could command such a position of authority—the top ten strongest in the world, recognized by all pantheons. Only they could claim the center seat, leaving the other Gods to sit around them.

And now, this… Red Dragon Emperor, this mere host, had not only taken a seat at the table but had also positioned himself beside Shiva, the third strongest being in the world?

It was a blatant display of disrespect, a slap in the face to every God present.

Several of the Gods glared at Haru, their eyes filled with barely contained fury. They were ready to strike, to obliterate this insolent child—just a word from those at the head of the table.

The tension in the room thickened.

Then, Indra, the young man with black hair and a neatly trimmed beard, seated beside Shiva, spoke, his voice laced with amusement.

"Red Dragon Emperor. You have… spirit, I'll give you that. But you presume much, taking a seat among us."

"Oh? And you are…?" Haru turned his head, glancing at Indra with an indifferent expression.

Haru didn't actually know who Indra was. He could sense the man's power—second only to Shiva—but that didn't impress him.

Even when he'd first arrived in this world, Haru's power had been comparable to Indra's.

And now, having inherited Ddraig's power, having mastered the Sky Authority, having achieved the transformation of matter and energy…

Only Shiva, whose power rivaled even Haru's before his transformation, was worthy of his attention. As for Indra? He was just another… weakling.

Indra's face darkened at Haru's dismissive tone. Black lightning crackled around him, the space itself fracturing under the pressure.

In the world of High School DxD, who didn't know Indra, the Heavenly Emperor of Mount Meru, the fifth strongest being in the world? At the very least, they'd seen his picture.

Haru's nonchalant demeanor was a clear provocation. And for Indra, the leader of the Buddhist pantheon, to be insulted like this, in front of the leaders of every pantheon, it was unacceptable.

He was about to unleash his fury, to annihilate Haru on the spot—

A delicate hand landed on his shoulder.

Indra glared at Shiva, whose face was still adorned with a gentle smile, though his eyes were cold and distant. Remembering Shiva's power, Indra reluctantly suppressed his rage, the black lightning dissipating.

Shiva turned to Haru, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Let's get straight to the point, Red Dragon Emperor. We've heard… you've taken control of Ophis. Is this true?"

Sirzechs, Ajuka, Serafall, and Falbium stared at Haru, bewildered. Barely five hours had passed since Cao Cao's message and the Gods' arrival.

And they, still reeling from the earlier events, watching Pandora dote on Ophis, hadn't received any reports about the Dragon God's whereabouts.

The News that Haru had taken control of Ophis, the Infinite Dragon God, was a shock.

The other Gods' gazes also turned towards Haru.

This was their primary concern. During the Khaos Brigade's numerous attacks, they had witnessed the destructive power of Ophis's serpents.

That Ophis, who usually remained aloof, unconcerned with worldly affairs, had become the leader of a terrorist organization was alarming enough.

But now, they were hearing she was under the control of the Devil King who had unified the Three Factions?

A leader and a captive were two very different things. One ruled, the other served. And if Ophis were to unleash her full power…

The thought of facing an endless army of Devils, Angels, and Fallen Angels, each empowered to Ultimate-Class levels by Ophis's serpents, sent shivers down the Gods' spines.

Under the weight of their gazes, Haru licked his lips, a look of… satisfaction… on his face.

"Ophis… Her body is… exquisite."

The room fell silent.

Azazel stared at Haru, his jaw slack.

Several of the other Gods, who also knew Ophis, had similar reactions. They'd lived for millennia, and they knew what Haru's expression meant. Some, their composure failing, began to gag.

Shiva's smile vanished. He discreetly shifted his chair closer to Indra, his face stiff, his voice cold. "Red Dragon Emperor. You understand why we are here. Release Ophis."

Haru looked at Shiva, his brow furrowed in confusion. "Release her? I haven't imprisoned her. You all came here… for this?"

The Gods nodded.

"You're wasting my time," Haru said, rising to his feet, about to leave.

He'd been puzzled by the Gods' sudden arrival, assuming it was related to the Khaos Brigade. But this… this was ridiculous.

He'd just… sampled the delights of a certain Saint's descendant, and he wasn't about to waste his time on this nonsense.

As Haru turned to leave, Shiva's eyes flickered with destructive intent. He spoke, his voice soft, yet laced with power.

"In that case… perhaps we should discuss the… redistribution of the Biblical God's followers. After all… God is no longer with us."

Sirzechs and the others' eyes widened. Now they understood.

The Gods' true motive wasn't Ophis—it was the two billion believers of the now-deceased Biblical God.

They had paid a hefty price to have Shiva intervene, and simply releasing Ophis wasn't enough.

They feared the potential for a single, dominant power, with Ophis at its command, to monopolize human faith, threatening their own existence.

Now that Ophis was unharmed, they intended to seize the opportunity, with all the pantheons' leaders present, to claim a share of the Biblical God's followers.

After all, they'd suffered significant losses to secure Shiva's assistance. They needed to recoup their investments.

Haru's eyes narrowed as he looked at the Gods, their faces now bearing greedy smiles. He understood their intentions.

He was the current leader of the remnants of the Biblical God's faction, and therefore, the faith of those believers belonged to him.

And now, these wolves were trying to steal from him.

He glared at them, his displeasure evident.

Then, he noticed Michael's pale face, her weakened aura. His eyes narrowed. "What happened?"

Michael pointed at Shiva, her voice trembling. "He did this…"

Whoosh!

BOOM!!!

Shiva's head slammed into the ground, creating a large crater.

He looked up, dumbfounded!!
