Campione: Strongest Godslayer!

Chapter 143: Chapter 143: Who Does He Think He Is?

As the Devils watched Diodora's… predicament with a mix of horror and morbid fascination, two figures materialized in the arena via a teleportation circle.

One of the figures immediately began scanning the crowd, then, spotting Sona Sitri among the Devils, let out a squeal of delight.

"Sona-chan~"

Sona froze, her body stiffening as she heard the all-too-familiar voice.

Slowly, like a rusty gear, she turned her head. Before she could fully register the approaching figure, she was enveloped in a hug.

"It's been too long, Sona-chan!"

The voice belonged to a young woman, barely seventeen or eighteen, with long, black hair styled in energetic twintails. Her cheerful demeanor and sweet voice gave her the air of a carefree, vibrant girl.

Her face was delicate and beautiful, her presence radiating an infectious energy, like a precious porcelain doll come to life.

But the Devils around Sona, even her own peerage, quickly backed away, their expressions mirroring the horror they'd felt moments earlier while witnessing Diodora's fate.

"Serafall-neesama…" Sona murmured, a pained smile on her face.

The girl—the woman—was Serafall Leviathan, Sona's older sister, and one of the Four Great Satans, the only female Maou.

Her love for her younger sister was… intense, bordering on obsessive. She'd once nearly launched a full-scale assault on the Fallen Angels' headquarters after Sona had been kidnapped by Kokabiel.

The Devils, remembering Serafall's extreme siscon tendencies, wisely chose to keep their distance.

"You're so mean, Sona-chan," Serafall pouted, clinging to Sona like a spoiled child.

"You came all the way to the Underworld and didn't even bother to see me first? I'm so hurt! I'm about to cry!"

As Serafall reached for a bottle of eye drops, clearly preparing to fake tears, the Devils who were seeing her for the first time stared in disbelief.

"Is this… really a Maou? She has no dignity whatsoever. If this is the state of our leadership, we don't need the Khaos Brigade—we'll destroy ourselves."

Sona's face burned crimson, a mix of shame and embarrassment. Serafall's behavior was mortifying enough at home, but here, in front of the entire Devil elite, with all her peers present… she wanted to disappear.

"Onee-sama, you're a Maou. Please, act accordingly. This is… humiliating."

"But…" Serafall's pout deepened, tears welling up in her eyes.

"I don't care! I want a hug! A loving hug from Sona-chan…!" Serafall's whining ceased abruptly as her gaze fell upon the screen above, her eyes widening in horror.

She released Sona and stared at the monitor, her face a mask of shock.

Haru, sensing a powerful, unfamiliar Maou-level presence focused on him, turned his head.

"Well hello there, beautiful," he said, flashing a charming smile at the twin-tailed girl on the screen. "What a stunning woman."

Behind him, Diodora, still entangled with the tentacles, twitched silently.

Serafall, despite her title of Leviathan, saw herself first and foremost as an adorable Magical Girl. And what did she see on the screen? A tentacle monster?!

"KYAAAA!!!** Her scream echoed through the arena.

A terrifying surge of power erupted from Serafall, the temperature plummeting to a hundred degrees below zero in an instant.

A faint green light flickered around the Devils present, and Ajuka, seated on his throne, traced a complex magic circle in the air with his finger.

He had just shielded the Devils from Serafall's outburst. Only he, with his mastery of formulas and spells, his Super Devil-level power, could react so quickly, creating a protective barrier across the entire hall.

Just then, another figure approached—a muscular, bald man in purple robes, his face etched with a lazy grin.

Falbium Asmodeus, one of the Four Great Satans, and the Underworld's greatest strategist.

"I am Falbium Asmodeus," he said, his voice laced with boredom as he addressed Haru on the screen. "Welcome to the Underworld… Haru-kakka."

Seeing Haru's lack of response, Falbium continued, "Could you at least look at me while I'm introducing myself? Staring only at Leviathan isn't very polite…"

Haru glanced at Falbium, then returned his gaze to Serafall, a playful smirk on his face as he watched her tremble.

As if sensing its creator's will, the tentacle monster behind him intensified its… attentions towards Diodora.

Diodora's body convulsed, arching backwards, his eyes widening before rolling back in his head.

Haru blinked, then banished Diodora's body to Hell. He turned to Sirzechs.

Sirzechs, his face a mask of wry amusement, coughed and closed the dimensional rift, bringing Haru to the raised platform where the Maou sat.

Ajuka's fingers flickered, and a teleportation circle appeared beneath Serafall, transporting her to the platform.

Under the stern gazes of the other three Maou, Serafall sat down, her body trembling slightly.

Haru, a mischievous glint in his eyes, licked his lips and took his designated seat.

The Devil elders below stirred uneasily. They didn't mind Haru, as Baal, sitting among the Maou.

But the seat he occupied was clearly elevated above the Four Great Satans. This was… unprecedented.

"What's going on? Why is Baal's seat higher? Who does he think he is?"

"I served during the original Baal's reign! Why does he get special treatment just because he's the Progenitor, while I'm stuck standing here?"

Several of the elders began to grumble. Some were even older than the current Maous, uncles and grandfathers who had no designated seats. How could this… upstart Baal be given such a position of honor?

Sirzechs, seated on Lucifer's throne, spoke, silencing the disgruntled elders.
