Chapter 1: Chapter 1: "DELETE MY SEARCH HISTORY "
"DELETE MY SEARCH HISTORY!" David Raphael's anguished cry reverberated through the saline air, punctuated by a resounding splash that sent ripples through the turquoise waters. The sound waves danced across the ocean's surface, creating a mesmerizing display of aquatic acrobatics. His friends, including Aiden, rushed to the railing, their faces etched with concern, as a guard pointed into the ocean with a mixture of trepidation and fascination. The guard's eyes, a deep shade of brown, seemed to hold a hint of sorrow, as if he had witnessed this scene unfold before.
The water seemed to swirl in a bizarre, spiral pattern, like a mesmerizing work of art in motion, as if the ocean itself was attempting to convey a cryptic message. The spiral's center appeared to be pulling David in, like a vortex, its presence both captivating and terrifying. As he peered into the depths, he felt an otherworldly energy emanating from the spiral, as if it was a portal to another dimension.
The scene rewound, revealing David standing at the railing of the luxurious cruise ship, Azure Dreams. His eyes, a bright shade of blue, were fixed on the endless expanse of cerulean water, his gaze seemingly hypnotized by the ocean's vastness. His mind was a jumbled mess of thoughts, a typical "shower thought" session: "Why am I still single? This cruise was supposed to be my chance... Ugh, I'm such a loser. 49 rejections and counting... Maybe I'll just jump..." His eyes scanned the options on his phone, and for a moment, he considered the unthinkable, his thumb hovering over the screen like a harbinger of doom.
But then, a voice interrupted his thoughts - the girl he had just been rejected by, now chatting with another guy who looked uncannily like Aiden. "You're always the prettier one," the guy said, and the girl giggled, her laughter like a melodic taunt that pierced David's heart. Her eyes, a bright shade of green, sparkled with amusement, as if she was enjoying David's misery. Suddenly, a hand shoved David forward, and he felt himself flying through the air, his stomach lurching with a sense of weightlessness, as if he was a puppet on strings, manipulated by an unseen force... Everything went black.
As he drowned, his mind racing with frantic thoughts: "I won't get to play GTA 6... Did Isagi win the World Cup? I'll never see the Avengers: Dynasty movie... Saitama vs. Goku, who would win? What about Elon's waifu bot? At least I'll never have to buy anime merch... Screw Japan and their pirating laws! Screw Sony and Visa too!" His thoughts were a jumbled mix of pop culture references and existential dread.
As his air ran out, everything went dark. David felt himself being pulled down into a black sea filled with multiple giant eyes staring at him with a mixture of curiosity and fear, like a surreal, underwater realm. The eyes, each one a different shade of blue, seemed to bore into his soul, as if searching for a hidden truth. The eyelashes, thin and delicate, fluttered like tiny wings, adding to the hypnotic effect. Suddenly, he reached the bottom and lay on a mossy surface that pricked his skin and colored the ocean red, like a macabre, underwater garden. Tentacles wrapped around him, pulling him down further, into the depths of the unknown.
When he came to, David was lying on a cold, damp surface, coughing up black, tar-like liquid. He stumbled to his feet, looking around in confusion, his eyes scanning the desolate landscape. Everything was in black and white, like a monochromatic painting, and his eyes were red from the strain. A figure stood before him - a girl with long, flowing white hair that cascaded down her back like a river of moonlight. But as he approached her, he realized with a start that it was actually a guy... And not exactly a handsome one, either. The guy's eyes, a deep shade of purple, seemed to hold a hint of mystery, as if they were gateways to other dimensions.
"What's wrong with you, dude?" David asked, taken aback. The ugly dude looked at him calmly and asked, "What is it that you desire for your journey to the next world?" David's eyes widened as the dude's face changed constantly, like a kaleidoscope of expressions, each one a mystery waiting to be unraveled.
"You're like the Six Paths Sage from Naruto!" David exclaimed, his mind racing with the implications.
The dude raised an eyebrow. "You don't know what that is, do you?" David shook his head, and the dude replied, "Constellation."
"Have you read Lord of the Mystery?" David asked, his curiosity piqued.
The dude nodded. "I'm familiar with the concept of the 'mystery'."
David's eyes widened. "You mean, like, the idea that there's a hidden truth underlying everything?"
The dude smiled. "Something like that. But it's more complicated than that. The mystery is a labyrinth, full of twists and turns. And at the center of it all is the truth."
David's mind was racing. "And what's the truth?"
The dude chuckled. "Ah, that's the million-dollar question. But I'll give you a hint: it's not what you think it is."
David's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean?"
The dude leaned in, his voice taking on a conspiratorial tone. "The truth is not something that can be easily understood. It's a complex web of ideas and concepts that defy comprehension. But that's what makes it so fascinating."
David's mind was reeling. He felt like he was being pulled down a rabbit hole, with no clear exit in sight.
Suddenly, the dude's face changed again, and he looked at David with an intense gaze. "So, David, what is it that you desire for your journey to the next world?"
David hesitated, unsure of how to respond. But then, something inside of him clicked, and he remembered Markiplier quotes what if I didn't run, as it played in his head. He smile and say alright what I want on my journey is .....
