Billionaire's Runaway Wife Came Back With Babies

Chapter 2: Chapter 2 She Only Has a Bad Daddy, No Mommy

"So you're threatening me?" Ye Ranran looked at her with a smile that was not quite a smile, pulling out a recording pen from her pocket, "Go on, say more. If I can't sue you for forging signatures, I can still sue you for intentional injury!"

She remembered the incident from five years ago vividly. She would not let these two vipers get away with it; she was determined to have them face legal punishment!

"Intentional injury? Just saying a few harsh words isn't breaking the law! And as for what happened five years ago, you have no evidence." Qin Huaiyu appeared complacent and unafraid.

"Just because there's no evidence now, doesn't mean it can't be found later. Remember, I won't let you flout the law!" Ye Ranran didn't want to entangle with these two women any longer and, after speaking, turned and walked away.

After Ye Ranran had walked a considerable distance, Ye Xuefu, who had been silent until then, stepped forward, her eyes coldly following Ye Ranran's retreating figure, "Who does that little bitch think she's threatening! Think we're scared of her?"

"Yeah, who is she threatening... She probably doesn't know the word 'death'!" Qin Huaiyu gritted her teeth and exchanged a glance with Ye Xuefu by her side.

Understanding the cue, Ye Xuefu immediately pulled out a spray from her pocket and followed closely behind.

Just as Ye Ranran approached the curbstone, Ye Xuefu suddenly called out.

"Ye Ranran!"

The moment Ye Ranran turned her head, she heard a hissing sound, and instantly, her vision blurred. Her eyes were sore and painful, irritated by some liquid to the point where she couldn't open them. Then she felt a strong force coming her way, pushing her unexpectedly onto the road, and a fierce voice rang in her ears.

"Go die, you wretch!"

Next came the sound of car horns.

Beep... beep beep...

Each honk was more urgent than the last. Ye Ranran tried to escape but stumbled in the wrong direction.

At the very last moment, a pair of small hands accurately grabbed Ye Ranran's large hand.

Then, she was pulled to the left by the small force, luckily avoiding the oncoming traffic.

As the driver cursed her out, the small hand shook her arm.

Ye Ranran came back to her senses, rubbing her eyes vigorously – they were still painful, and she couldn't open them.

The little one perceived her problem, held her hand, and gently wrote the word "sit" on her palm.

Ye Ranran nodded and bent down to sit as the child had indicated.

Then, a pair of small hands cupped her face, and she felt a faint and gentle breath brush against her eyelids. Her brow furrowed, but she still couldn't open her eyes.

The little one pursed her lips, opened her small backpack behind her, and took out a specialized spray, hissing twice at Ye Ranran's eyes.

Five seconds later, Ye Ranran felt her eyes stinging less, and tears reflexively fell from the corners. Soon, she opened her eyes.

The moment she saw light, she also saw a little girl, about four or five years old.

The child was incredibly beautiful, like a fairy from the myths, with a perfectly carved and jade-like appearance. Her eyes were particularly striking, large as though they contained the stars and the sea.

"Little friend, thank you!" Ye Ranran smiled at the little girl, her lips curving warmly.

The little girl gestured in sign language: Don't mention it.

Feeling a sudden tug at her heart upon seeing her use sign language, Ye Ranran thought: Such a cute child is deaf-mute?

Perhaps driven by maternal instinct or perhaps because the child was so endearing, Ye Ranran couldn't help but scoop the little one into her arms, rubbing her small face and speaking gently, "Little darling, thank you so much. You are my lifesaver, aunty's savior."

When the little girl heard the words 'little darling,' her eyes turned red. She clung tightly to Ye Ranran, sobbing as softly as a little kitten.

Hearing her cry, Ye Ranran immediately cradled her face and looked about for her family.

"Little friend, are you alone?"

The little girl nodded.

"Do you know where your home is? Would it be okay if Auntie takes you back home?"

The little loli shook her head.

"Do you know your daddy and mommy's phone number?"

Tears suddenly fell from the little loli's eyes as she shook her head, she only had a bad daddy, no mommy!

Seeing that the little one didn't know anything, Ye Ranran had no choice but to say, "Auntie will take you to the Qingyun Bureau, and let the uncles there help you find your daddy and mommy, okay?"

Hearing this, the little loli reacted as if she'd been startled, burrowing hard into her embrace and vigorously shaking her head, refusing to go to the Qingyun Bureau.

Ye Ranran thought that a child of this size might be afraid of the Qingyun Guard, so she rubbed her little head and naturally planted a light kiss on top of her hair.

At that moment, the little loli's stomach let out a rumbling sound.

Ye Ranran heard this, curved her lips into a smile, and asked, "Are you hungry?"

The little loli nodded, and at the same time, her pink little face began to turn red with shyness.

Ye Ranran found her tiny demeanor both cute and pitiful, and thought it might be better to feed the little one before helping her find her home.

"Sweetheart, would you like to come to Auntie's home for a meal?" she asked.

The little loli nodded vigorously, a smile slowly appearing on her face.

Two hours later, Ye Ranran brought the little loli back to her modest villa.

As soon as they entered, the third treasure, Ye Xinglan, rushed over, hugged her leg, looked up with a coquettish expression, and said, "Mommy, kiss, two, not one less."

Ye Ranran had just given him two kisses when the fourth child, Ye Xinghao, disdainfully scolded Ye Xinglan, "Clingy bugger."

Ye Xinglan stuck out his tongue at his brother, and just as he was about to say something, he saw the little loli behind Ye Ranran and his eyes lit up instantly.

"Mommy, did you bring us a little sister?"

As soon as these words were spoken, all five of Ye Ranran's little treasures gathered around.

The eldest, Ye Xingchen, was a gentlemanly and gentle figure, first finding slippers for the little loli and then elegantly stating, "I am your big brother, Ye Xingchen."

The second treasure, Ye Xingtong, was a little ice mountain, simply glancing at the little loli and nodding gently to welcome her.

Ye Xinglan was different, pulling her along naturally, "Sister, I'm your third brother, third brother!"

Ye Xinghao glanced at the two of them, turned sideways, and said insincerely, "Girls are the most troublesome!"

"Si-sister... hello, I-I am the fifth, Ye... Ye Xingyu." The shy fifth child, Ye Xingyu, blushed upon seeing the little loli, stumbling over his words.

Ye Ranran was expecting her sons' reactions and picked up the little loli, speaking seriously, "Sorry, this isn't a sister Mommy brought for you all. She can't find her way home, so she's come to our place to have a meal, and after she's full, we must send her back home. Alright kids, time to cook."

"Sure, Mommy, what would you like to eat? I'll go make it!" Ye Xingchen took down the apron hanging at the entrance, put it on, and glanced at his four brothers.

The little fellows voiced their enthusiasm one after another.

"Okay!"

"The dish I make will definitely be something sister will like!"

"Well, I'll grudgingly help you guys just this once!"

"I'll... I'll... I'll give it a try. Sister, please don't disdain it."

After Ye Xingchen went in, he poked his head out again and beckoned to the little loli, "Sister, do you want to come in and join us?"

The little loli bit her lip gently, her little face reddening, seeming somewhat embarrassed.
