NOVEL NEXT WORLD Chapter 1: Prolouge
I don't like Rito Yuuki as a character because it feels like his harem is handed to him, and he lacks growth as a person. If you've watched *To LOVE-Ru*, then you should know that it takes a lot of inspiration from *Urusei Yatsura*, which is one of the best romantic comedy slice-of-life harem animes of all time! The main character, Ataru, is the complete opposite of Rito Yuuki; while he is a pervert, he is a complex tsundere, which is why I prefer him over Rito, who is a plain character simply given a harem for no reason.
In *To LOVE-Ru*, the main character isn't why people read the story; it's more about the nudity and the female protagonists, who often lack personality. I wish the series focused less on that. There are some scenes where the story tries to be serious, but it completely falls flat.
The relationship between Sairenji and Rito feels forced, which is something I dislike. Are we seriously going to overlook the fact that this guy is a stalker and has an obsession with a girl who was kind enough to support him with the garden accident? That's not love, but admiration or better word a crush! Rito does the bare minimum as a character and suddenly Haruno is completely wet for him, or you fucking serious!
Rito is a weirdo; what began admiring Haruno, abruptly became an obsession. It's a Japanese trope, people will argue, but they have no idea what they're talking about. Japanese women are freaky! People may act shy in public, but when they're in the bedroom or out partying, it's a different story. One of my complaints is that the main character never talks to Haruno at all. Even before the discussions about his bad luck started, it still didn't make any sense. A perfect example of a main character with bad luck is Seina Yamada from "Tenchi Muyo GXP." Surprisingly, while people complain about Rito Yuki having his harem stolen, they completely overlook Seina Yamada, who genuinely suffers from bad luck. His entire family doesn't want to be around him, yet he still becomes a true "Chad." I think you're all being unreasonable!

My name is Kincade Freeman, and I am an exchange student from the United States. I transferred to Sanin High School in Sanin City, Japan. I am 16 years old. Currently, I am on my way to Okayama for a camping school field trip.
I was paired with a girl named Sairenji Haruna, on whom I had a crush on. As I glanced back at the bus, I saw her talking to Momioka Risa and Kotegawa Yui. When she noticed me looking, she smiled and waved at me. Keeping my cool, I waved back and smiled in return. Sairenji blushed, took another look at me, and then resumed her conversation with the two girls.
"She's totally into me," I said confidently. Unbeknownst to me, I was unaware that an orange-haired kid and most of the soccer team were staring at me. Did I say staring? I meant... glaring.
The rest of the bus ride was uneventful. Nothing particularly interesting occurred on the way to Okayama—just your typical journey, filled with music and relaxation. Hours passed, and we finally arrived at Masaki Village. There, we noticed a seventeen-year-old boy with his hair tied back in a ponytail.
With him were two stunning women, one with purple hair and the other with cyan blue; both seemed to be clinging to the teenager. Maybe the three were in some type of polygamous relationship? Wow, what a lucky guy.
Our teacher stepped off the bus to greet a boy who was about our age. "Hello, I'm Toshiro Ryusei, and these are my students from Sanin High School. We are here to stay for a week in the mountains of Masaki Village," said our sensei, extending his hand to the boy.
The boy greeted Mr. Ryusei with a smile and introduced himself. "Hello, my name is Tenchi Masaki, and these two are Ryoko Hakubi and Ayeka Jurai," he said, giving Mr. Ryusei a strong handshake.
"Nice to meet you, Masaki-kun," said Sensei, returning my handshake with a firm grip. "But enough about them; let's talk more about me." After stepping off the bus with my backpack and camping gear, I started to take in the surroundings of the village. It was small, nothing like Sanin Town or even Tokyo—just a rural village. Despite that, it felt like home.
As I walked, my classmates followed behind me, admiring the beauty of our surroundings while engaging in casual conversation. Mr. Toshiro then addressed the class: "Okay, everyone. After speaking with Mr. Masaki, he has decided that it would be a great idea for us to explore the village. This will also give you a good opportunity to buy any groceries you need for today's dinner. So, pair up with your partners and meet back here in an hour," said Sensei.
Everyone started pairing up with their partners. I noticed Rito glaring at me, especially when I approached Sairenji-san, who seemed excited to explore the small village. Rito and that other guy, Kenichi Surayuma, are probably two of the biggest perverts I've ever met, not counting the principal.
"H-Haruno-san!" stuttered the persistent stalker. Sairenji smiled, as usual, and was kind to everyone. "Yes, Yuki-san?" she said warmly.
The idiot and his annoying friend giggle like a bunch of perverted bitches.
"Hey, I was thinking that the three of us could partner up and check out the café. I've heard it's a nice place," Rito said, emphasizing the 'three of us.' Sairenji frowned and replied, "Sorry, Yuki-kun, but I'm partnered with Freeman-san. Maybe the two of us could check it out if you tell us the name of the café."
Rito clenched his fist and smiled back at Sairenji before announcing the name of the café. Saruyuama gritted his teeth and glared at me when he caught sight of the smug expression on my face. Even that Yuki guy noticed the wide grin on my face, and I could tell he was losing his shit. His sweet Sairenji wasn't interested in him; she was interested in me!
Haruno seized my hand and pulled me away from the two guys, presumably heading to the café that the stalker had mentioned. Meanwhile, the stalker and Saruyuama were seething, likely plotting their next move.
Meanwhile, in space, three events were occurring.
The spaceship was large, with the initials GP carved into it. Inside, there was a blond woman with short hair and an incredible figure, giving out orders. They had two missions: to capture Princess Lala of Deviluke and to support a transfer ship that was being attacked by a galactic pirate named Villgax. The blond who was in charge Amane Kaunaq was a second-class detective for the GP.
"Captain, the enemy ship, the princess's ship, and the transfer carrier are about to warp!" said a female officer among the four on the ship.
Amane Kaunaq gritted her teeth and exclaimed, "Where are they warping to?" She was sweating profusely as she typed on the computer, trying to find the correct coordinates for the destination of the three spacecraft. "It seems they are heading to Earth, where Mrs. Kiriko resides," one of the attendees informed her.
"Excellent," replied Amane.
Meanwhile with the other ship
We observe a large ship attempting to shoot down a smaller ship from orbit. The large ship successfully lands a hit, but the smaller one quickly retaliates by firing a triple laser beam from its cannon before landing a direct hit on the larger craft. We see two individuals who appear to be the pilots of the massive vessel.
"Hull damage is at 20%, but the system is still operating," said the person on the left, sitting in one of the pilot seats, before turning to face a squid-like man-creature who appeared to be the ship's captain.
"I have come too far to be denied," said the squid-like alien creature. The scene shifts back into outer space, where the smaller ship quickly zooms away from the giant ship of death. The giant ship starts to shoot laser beams rapidly in an attempt to shoot down the smaller vessel. The scene then switches back to the alien squid-like creature as he starts to state his evil desires for the item on that ship.
"The Omnitrix will be mine, and there is not a being in the galaxy that dares to stand in my way," said the squid-like creature before balling his fist in frustration.
Meanwhile Kin and Haruno
After going to the café with Sairenji-san, we discussed dinner plans for tonight. She expressed an interest in learning more about America and my family. I told her that I was an only child and that my mother passed away when I was around seven years old. Times were tough, especially when my dad had to leave for work overseas and left me behind in America. He never explained exactly what his job was, so I couldn't share that information with Sairenji.
"You've been through a lot, Freeman-san," said Sairenji-san with a worried expression. Kin just shook his head.
"No, not really, because I have you looking after me, Haruno-san," Kin said with a smile as he took a sip of his coffee. Haruno felt her cheeks flush as she clenched her skirt, trying her best not to stare into Kin's brown eyes that were so foreign to her.
"Desert! Waiter, we would like some dessert," said Haruno, trying her best to change the subject and move away from the embarrassing conversation that was making her heart flutter.
Smirking, Kincade decided to tease Sairenji some more. "Yes, we would like to order your couples' special Jumbo parfait, please," Kin said with a smile on his face.
Quickly turning to me, now as red as a tomato, she exclaimed, "F-Freeman-san!" The waitress smiled as she wrote down our order on her notepad. "Fu~Fu~Fu~! Young love! I wish I could be young again," said the middle-aged woman as she made her way to the kitchen.
Kin's Pov
It took a few minutes for our order to arrive. I dug into the parfait, savoring every sweet taste. Sairenji-san was hesitating, contemplating whether she should also dig in. "What's wrong, Sairenji-san? I can't eat this by myself, so please join me," I encouraged her.
What happened next shocked me to my core. "Sure, but can you feed me, Freeman-san?" asked a flustered Sairenji.
On the outside I was calm, still having that warm smile on my face, but on the inside, I was completely out of it. "Sairenji san can you repeat-"
"Feed me," she said again, this time more boisterous. "Okay," I said. Just as I was about to pick up the second spoon, Sairenji grabbed it instead and said, "Feed me with the spoon you ate from." She said this while blushing.
Flustered, I picked up the spoon, scooped some ice cream, and placed it in front of Sairenji. As Sairenji put the spoon in her mouth, she began to blush. Taking the spoon out of my hand she begins to lick and suck on the spoon.
While looking into my eyes. On that day, I found out Sairenji Haruno was a freak
Meanwhile
We see the ship being attacked before trying to flee from its life. Unfortunately, It took a direct attack
Their propulsion systems have been destroyed. And, sir! Our radar is picking up the signal of another ship. It's the GP! The squid man that was sitting in the captain chair started to speak
"Prepare to board! I want the Omnitrix now! And do your best to shake the Galactic Patrol off our tail!" commanded the squid-like man. The grunt nodded and pressed a button. Not willing to back down without a fight, the greenish-blue ship fired its photon zap cannon, successfully
striking the squid man and his grunt. Undeterred, the giant orange ship charged up a powerful attack. However, it soon realized that it had stored too much energy, leading to an explosion as the fleeing ship detonated."
However; Princess Lala's ship got caught in the recoil of the blast and fell out of Orbit.
Back with Captain Amane clenched her fist. "Damn it! Alright team, we need to save the princess quickly!" ordered Amane.
"Yes, captain! boarding earth's atmosphere in 120 minutes" said one of the officers aboard the ship.
Amane glanced at the wreckage of the destroyed carrier. "Whatever was valuable in that ship is mostly gone. The pilot would be lucky to escape without injury. Whatever Villagax wanted is now destroyed," Amane thought, shifting her focus back to rescuing the princess of Deviluke.
Unbeknownst to her, an object is fired from the carrier ship headed to Earth.
An hour later
Kincade POV
After leaving the café, Sairenji and I headed to the market to pick up some groceries for dinner. We decided to make a simple curry. Right now, I was playing a game against most of the soccer team, who were quite good, including that Yuki bastard. And we were getting our asses kicked.
The goalie tried his best to catch the ball, but he failed. While the entire team glared at him, I was the exception; I offered a hand to help lift him to his feet. "You did well, bro," I said with a warm smile on my face.
The blond smiled and said, "Thanks, but I don't think my classmates feel the same," he added, glancing at his fleeting and gloomy classmates.
"It's just a game. It's not like we lost a bet or something," I said. The boy began to flinch, and just as he was about to open his mouth, that bastard Surayama beat him to it.
"Just take a look for yourself, loser," Suruyama said with a wide grin on his face. I turned around and saw Sairenji and Yuki... kissing. But why? I thought she liked me. No, that was my fault for assuming that. Not only that, but the winning team was also flirting with the girls in our class. My heart felt completely shattered. Not wanting to give Suruyama the satisfaction of seeing me upset, I laughed it off with a smile before heading into the woods.
Suruyama continued to mock me as I walked away. Unbeknownst to me, a girl I hadn't noticed was watching my fleeing figure.
Several minutes had passed since I left the campsite; I began to wander around trying to get far away from Haruno and that Yuki bastard. Hurt and angry, all I could think about was how stupid I was for getting my hopes up."I can't believe I fell for her lies. She was messing with me the entire time," I muttered as I dragged a large stick through the mud. As I continued to feel sorry for myself, I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings and bumped into something hard.
I looked up and saw something straight out of a movie—it was a spaceship! Before I could investigate and look inside, I noticed a large meteorite falling from the sky. I stared in awe initially, but my expression quickly changed to horror as I realized where it was headed.
It was now heading directly at me!
Having somehow avoided the attack, I picked myself up and stared at the now newly formed crater. Inside was a strange silver capsule glowing in a blue-violet color. You know that old saying, "Curiosity killed the cat." Well, my dumbass decided to check it out anyway...
Luckly it was just a watch... A strange watch at that.

Putting my arm out to grab it; the watch just suddenly launched out of the pod before attaching itself on my arm.
I struggled to shake the alien watch off my arm, but it proved to be incredibly difficult to remove. "What the hell is going on? Let go, damn it!" I roared, exerting all my strength to pull the watch free. In a desperate attempt, I grabbed a sharp rock, hoping to cut it off. However, the rock quickly became blunted, and the watch showed no signs of a scratch.
Deciding to give up, I sighed and sat on the edge of the crater. I noticed that the watch had a dial attached to it. My curiosity got the better of me, and I turned the dial. To my surprise, holograms of ten different alien species appeared, while the others seemed to be locked. I kept turning before eventually landing on a hologram that caught my fancy.
Clicking on the glowing purple button. The dial begins to push up.
As I saw the dial begin to pop up, I gently pushed it down before suddenly being engulfed in a bright light. Then, my body began to change.
Looking down at my hands, which had now transformed into jagged claws, and my feet resembling an insect, the only rational thing to do was remain calm. I tried to find a switch on my body before noticing the dial on my chest. I pressed it, but nothing happened. After a moment of hesitation, I decided to speak. "Deactivate," I said in a cold, emotionless tone.
A purple light engulfed me again, returning me to my original form. I now somehow received the knowledge of the creature I transformed into, called a Necrofriggian. Unbeknownst to me, my eyes were now violet-purple.
Turning back to the ship, I begin to spot anything inside, including living beings. Checking the windshields, I see two girls who were knocked out unconscious.
Blushing, I quickly shook my head. "It's not the time for this, Kin! You need to rescue them, like, ASAP!" I said before trying to find a way to open the pod.
End of Kins Pov.
Meanwhile
We can see Haruno Sairenji in her tent, she is curled up in a ball crying her eyes out. All she could do was think about kin. She never meant nor wanted to Kiss Rito; when he did it she was off guard.
Flashback
Rito pushed his way in on Sairenji, even sticking his vile tongue in her mouth. After taking a quick step back, Haruno gives him a solid slap across the face. Tears were streaming down her face. She had lost her temper.
The slap left Rito's entire right side flushed; in fact, everyone was taken aback by Haruno's actions; they had never seen this side of her, who was compassionate, kind, and forgiving, but this was the cherry on top.
How dare you! Wh-What is wrong with you?!" shouted Haruno angrily. Rito jolted out of his reverie and opened his mouth to speak, but he quickly closed it when Haruno yelled at him. "I tried to be nice, but I just can't. You know that you are strange, and not in a good way. You have been following me since last year, and I'm sick of it. I will never like you, Yuki Rito! You are a jerk, and I will kick your ass if you ever try that again! Haruno said as she strode away from the pervert no rizz loser.
She started asking people where Kin was. All claimed that he wandered off somewhere. She asked someone else, and the goalie on Kin's team answered, explaining everything, including how Kin was extremely upset after seeing the kiss.
This caused Haruno to be upset, leading to this current situation.
End of flashback
Still curled up in her tent. "I'm sorry Kin..." Said Haruno who began to fall into a deep slumber.
