On the other side, the Lion Elder caught on to the situation from their conversation. He stared at the green-clad woman with a dark expression and coldly demanded, "Who are you? I advise you not to meddle in this matter. In the Mulan Empire, my Mulan Valley can make your life impossible with just a word!"

Green Python's face changed slightly as her eyes flickered. She seemed to weigh the risks and benefits of offending Mulan Valley.

Noticing her hesitation, Qing Lin quickly tightened her small face and spoke firmly, "Sister Green Python, if anything happens to my young master, I will never join the Heavenly Snake Mansion, even if I die!"

"Qing Lin, you…" Green Python was taken aback. She had not expected this 13- or 14-year-old girl to be so resolute.

Mo Yu, also surprised, gently patted Qing Lin's head with a touch of affection. He felt a pang of guilt for Qing Lin's deep feelings.

"Qing Lin, there's no need for that. If I do fall here, go with Miss Green Python. If you ever get the chance, you can avenge me," Mo Yu said with a light laugh, stopping Qing Lin.

He had long since come to terms with life and death. Even in the face of dire circumstances, he wouldn't let a little girl risk her life for him.

"Young Master, you…" Qing Lin bit her lip, tears welling up in her eyes.

"My apologies, Lion Elder, but I'm taking responsibility for this boy!" Green Python declared, turning her gaze to the Lion Elder.

"Oh?" The Lion Elder replied nonchalantly, "No matter who you are, you don't seem qualified to say such things with your current strength."

He could sense that Green Python was around the level of a six-star Dou Emperor, while he was one of the Three Elders of Mulan with peak Dou Emperor strength. On top of that, he had a six-star magical beast as an ally.

Even if Green Python intervened, the Lion Elder didn't believe it would drastically change the situation—at most, it would be a bit more troublesome.

"Lizard King, how about we join forces to take down this woman first?" the Lion Elder suggested, turning to the Black Lizard Demon Snake King.

"Naturally!" The Black Lizard Demon Snake King was equally taken aback by the sudden appearance of the green-clad woman. However, since she had chosen to protect the thief who stole its flame, she was now the enemy of the Lizard Tribe. It didn't mind teaming up with the Lion Elder, who was an enemy moments ago.

"Attack!" With the Black Lizard Demon Snake King's agreement, the Lion Elder wasted no time. A low shout echoed as a torrent of wild green Dou Qi surged from his body, unleashing a terrifying pressure that filled the valley.

The ground beneath his feet cracked as fissures rapidly spread outwards, making the massive boulders above shake violently. Using this force, the Lion Elder shot toward Green Python like a bullet.

At the same moment, the Black Lizard Demon Snake King struck like lightning. With a terrifying growl, it summoned dark mist energy, forming over a dozen sharp black spikes as thick as thighs. The spiraled patterns on the tips made them even deadlier.

With a flick of its tail, the spikes scattered in all directions, covering every possible escape route for Green Python.

As the Lion Elder's fist, infused with fearsome Dou Qi and the power of a wild lion, bore down on Green Python, she hesitated briefly. Then, with a stamp of her foot, the ground beneath her shattered, forming a rocky wall.

Simultaneously, she extended her right hand, unleashing five green energy whips from her fingers. The whips danced around her body, deflecting the incoming spikes.

The Lion Elder smashed through the rock wall with a punch, his expression unchanged. In an instant, he appeared above Green Python, delivering a crushing blow to her shoulder.

"Boom!"

The hit landed, and Green Python grunted in pain, clutching her shoulder as she landed on another boulder.

Her aura was noticeably weaker than before. Clearly, taking a blow from a peak Dou Emperor was no small matter.

"As expected of one of the Three Elders of Mulan. Even alone, you're difficult to deal with. I can't imagine how terrifying it would be if all three of you attacked together," Green Python muttered with a hint of apprehension, raising her right hand to unleash a torrent of green energy toward the Lion Elder.

The Lion Elder blocked the attack with crossed arms, green Dou Qi swirling around him.

"This is the Mulan Empire, the territory of Mulan Valley. I advise you to back off. It doesn't matter what power you come from—you won't leave here alive if you interfere!" the Lion Elder warned coldly.

After their brief exchange, he had gauged the green-clad woman's strength. While a six-star Dou Emperor was formidable elsewhere, in front of him, one of the Three Elders of Mulan, it was hardly worth mentioning.

The Black Lizard Demon Snake King also eyed Green Python warily, its killing intent clear.

Seeing the two powerhouses closing in on Green Python, Mo Yu grew anxious. Just as he was about to plead with Snake Uncle for help, he heard Green Python's next words and froze.

"Could it really be here…?" he thought.

As if guessing what Mo Yu was thinking, Green Python frowned and then smiled lightly.

"Yes, this is the Mulan Empire… So I won't overestimate myself by fighting you both." She sighed, shaking her head. Then she put her fingers into her mouth and blew a sharp whistle.

"Boom…"

Moments after the whistle echoed, a thunderous sound rumbled from the distant forest. A colossal creature, nearly ten feet long, soared into the sky, heading straight toward them, casting a massive shadow over the land.

The creature's serpentine form was immense, moving at a speed that left onlookers in awe. Its giant tail swished back and forth, propelling it like a flash of light. In just a few blinks, it was close to the green-clad woman.

As the creature drew nearer, its full form came into view.

Mo Yu's eyebrows shot up in surprise, a smile tugging at his lips. "It's really here—White Fang from the Heavenly Snake Mansion!"

A gigantic serpent appeared before them. Its entire body was pitch black, with strange, colorful patterns running along its scales. On its sides were eight wings tinged with purple, and atop its head was a dark, spiral horn resembling a crown.

"The Eight-Winged Black Serpent Emperor?" The Black Lizard Demon Snake King's face twisted in shock.

Hearing the Demon Snake King's astonished exclamation, the Lion Elder's face darkened, a sense of foreboding rising within him.

Meanwhile, Mo Yu recalled the original story and grinned.

"The Eight-Winged Black Serpent Emperor is a rare beast with extraordinary talent, an evolution of the two-winged black snake at the third tier. With each advancement, it grows another pair of wings. When it reaches eight wings, it becomes the fearsome Eight-Winged Black Serpent Emperor!"

"If I remember correctly, this Eight-Winged Black Serpent Emperor is named White Fang and has the strength of a peak Dou Emperor," Mo Yu thought, his excitement growing.

High above, the green-clad woman and the massive Eight-Winged Black Serpent Emperor converged, their combined auras surging toward the heavens, shredding the clouds to pieces.

"This is bad…"

On the other side, the Lion Elder and the Black Lizard Demon Snake King felt the overwhelming pressure from the two powerful beings, their faces growing increasingly grim.
