Battle Across The Omniverse

Jayr POV - Dragon Ball Universe, Neutral Space, Nameless Planet - Age 779

Frost is looking at Goku's unconscious figure on the ground panting heavily while everyone else is in a state of shock for the sudden and unexpected turn that the battle between Goku and Frost took, but of course, Champa and Cabba are glad he won.

At the same time, the referee declares after checking on Goku, "The match is over! Out-of-bounds! Contestant Frost of Universe 6 is the winner!" 

Seeing that, Whis sighs and comments, "Oh my, it seems he lost." followed by a stunned Vegeta who exclaims, "Kakarot lost!?" but then Piccolo explains, "He was careless when it came to taking his opponent's attacks. He must have taken some damage to the brain, causing him to momentarily lose conciousness."

Shortly after that, a pissed Beerus shouts, "What are you doing, you idiot?!" followed by Nappa who yells, "It's all shorty's fault! He was the one who wanted Kakarot to lose against that Frieza copycat!"

Hearing that, Bulma stares at Krilling and chides, "Krillin! Because you said, "Now I'm confused about who I should cheer for," Son-kun ended up losing!" to which he powerlessly tries to defend himself, "Eeeh!? But Bulma-san, even you said-."

But before he could continue, Nappa shouts, "Shut up, shorty! They revived you so many times that you have no right to defend yourself. Just take your well deserved blame like a man or I'll play a session of patty-cake with you!" which makes Krillin bleach and shut up.

At the same time, Patamon can't help himself from snorting before he chuckles and comments, "Hehehe. Is he serious!? Are we really sure that we are in the right universe and not the Abridged version?" which makes Goza sigh and reply, "Don't worry about it, Nappa is mostly joking. Since he started living on Earth, he became much more relaxed... Well, I grew a little bit worried when I heard him singing "Do You Want To Kill A Planet?" to baby Trunks, but then he explained to me that it is actually a lullaby that Saiyan sing to their kids or something along those lines..."

In response to that, Patamon shudders and comments, "Maybe we should leave before it is too late..." to which I reply, "Calm down, Patamon. Even if this is Dragon Ball Abridged Universe, I'm still confident in keeping you safe from the Pecking Order."

At the same time, I take a moment to take a closer look at Nappa.

Nappa is an extremely tall and muscular bald man with a gotee, though his Saiyan genes give him the appearance of someone in their mid-30s, Nappa is approximately around 65 years old, which is quite an impressive display of the Saiyan's genetics. 

He is wearing a yellow shirt with a blue sash, black wristbands, and dark blue pants which gives quite a different impression and vibe if compared to the sight of him in his Saiyan Battle Armor and thin mustache that is imprinted in my memory.

While I'm looking at Nappa, Chi-Chi jumps down from the platform and runs to check up on Goku. 

When Goku wakes up, he is unaware of where he for a moment as he looks around checking his surroundings before asking, "What's this?" but then he realizes, "Looks like I lost."

At this point, Chi-Chi hugs Goku while crying, "Goku-sa! I thought you died or somethin'!" which makes Goku comment, "Everyone is watchin' us!"

Meanwhile, Frost jumps down the ring and approaches the couple before he asks, "Are you alright?"

In response, Goku smiles and says, "You did good! I have no idea what sorta of move that was." to which Frost casually replies while spreading his arms wide, "Even I don't understant what happened there. I was just so desperate to win. But there is one thing I'm sure about. You have pushed me beyond my limits."

Then Frost walks up to Goku and says, "Thank you for the agonizing, yet fun battle." before offering his hand to Goku who is still sitting on the ground.

Goku casually scratches the back of his head, smiles, and says, "I ain't sure what to say." before he takes Frost's offered hand and Frost helps him getting up, he even raises Goku's hand while the audience is applauding them.

At the same time, Patamon snorts and comments, "Yeah, right. They are all applauding the dirty cheater who poisoned his opponent..."

Meanwhile, Goku takes Chi-Chi back to her seat and goes to Whis and Beerus where he apologize, "Sorry about that." which makes Beerus upset as he snorts and say, "Uh? "Sorry about that"? Will that fix things? If you'd fought at full power, it would have been an easy win!"

In response, Goku puts his hands in front and waves them while trying to defend himself, "W-Well yeah, but... I thought Super Saiyan would be enough, but I lost even with that! What could I do? Well, next time I fight him, I definitely won't lose."

Hearing that, Beerus shouts, "Next time?! THIS competition is what's important! If we lose this, then that Champa bastard will own your planet forever-." but is then interrupted by the voice of his brother Champa who is gloating from the other side of the arena, "Heeey! Beerus...? Are you mad, by chance? Are you mad?"

In response to that, Beerus tries to restrain himself while saying, "I-I'm definitely not mad." but that is followed by Champa who continues to taunt him, "That guy wasn't supposed to e your trump card, was he? Are you nervous? Nervous?

At this point, Whis leans closer to the God of Destruction and advises him, "Beerus-sama, control yourself."

Beerus swallows his anger, walks up to Goku, puts an arm around his shoulder, and says with a clearly fake smile, "You fought fairly, and went all out! Winning or losing isn't what's important here! That was a nice fight, Goku!"

Shortly after that, the referee declares, "Moving on, the contestant from Universe 7 who will be facing contestant Frost next is... contestant Piccolo!"

Piccolo takes a few steps approaching the border of the platform before he turns around and asks Goku, "Do you think I have a chance of winning?" to which he bluntly reply, "Nope!"

Piccolo snorts and comments, "Bastard, you sure don't beat around the bush." before he asks, "Should I forfeit, then?" to which he replies, "Nah, Cell's gonna be fightin' after you, so if you can tire out Frost a little, that'll probably help."

Hearing that, Piccolo smirked and casually commented, "To think that I would play such a role." before he flew down to the arena for his match.

As soon as he lands on the ring, Piccolo looks at Frost and asks, "Do you plan to keep fighting me in your Final Form? Why don't you hold back a little?" to which Frost politely replies, "You need not worry. I don't have enough power remaining to accidentally kill you. Still, I do not intend to lose."

In response to that declaration, Piccolo turns serious as he comments, "It seems like everyone is understimating me today." before he takes off his weighted garments and throws them away, which fall and land on the referee. 

Meanwhile, it is clear that Vegeta is contemplating how Goku lost to Frost, sure of the fact that Goku could not have gone unconscious to the level of attack Frost let out, and feels that something is not right about the recent sequence of events. 

While Vegeta is brooding, Jaco, who also noticed that something is off, moves next to him to see the fight at a better view. 

Seeing that scene, Son Goza smirks and comments, "As expected of Jaco, he too noticed that something is off, probably he is the only one besides Vegeta, Whis-san, and Vados-san who noticed that something is off about Frost." which makes Patamon ask, "Really!? Isn't he some kind of joke character?"

In response, Son Goza shakes his head and explains, "No. Even if his behaviour is usually very silly and sometimes even cowardly, he is still a very competent Galatic Patrolman who actually specializes in investigation and intelligence gathering. In fact, among the Galatic Patrolman he has the third highest mission success rate, and the two above him are an actual Trainee Angel named Merus, and I, which is quite unfair to compare him with our power levels and abilities."

While Son Goza is saying that, Champa fires a weak energy beam at the gong signaling the start of the third match between the Gods of Destruction with Piccolo and Frost as protagonists followed by the referee who shouts, "Begin!"

Neither of the competitors makes the first move as Piccolo and Frost stare at one other, at least until Frost says, "I've already shown the scope of my power. All I have left is my willpower. But I will fight with that as my weapon!" before he charges at Piccolo to attack him.

However, Piccolo disappears and reappears floating high in the air before he commences charging the Special Beam Cannon by holding the index and middle fingers of his right hand to his forehead and gathering an incredible amount of Ki in the form of a glowing yellow ball of energy with blue spars running all over it.

At the same time, on the competitor platform, Goku exclaims, "Oh, that stance! It's the Special Beam Cannon. So cool!" but Vegeta snorts and comments, "Hmpf. To me, it looks like a pathetic attack with an obvious weakness."

Hearing that, Son Goza pouts and says, "Hmpf. That's because he doesn't truly understand the technique created by Piccolo-san! Sure, it may have its quirks, but the Special Beam Cannon is without doubt one of the most powerful techniques ever created. With enough charging time, it becomes basically an unstoppable one-kill blow."

In response, I simply fake a cough which makes Son Goza sigh and exclaim, "Come on! A freak like you is obviously an abnormal exception! I mean you ripped the space-time continuum apart with a freaking punch! Not even Saitama of One Punch Man could pull off something like that as easily as you did!"

Meanwhile, Frost looks up at Piccolo's figure and calmly comments, "It seems you intend to unleash some special move of yours. And it seems that special move... requires you to store up a considerable amount of Ki before it's ready." which makes Goku groan, "Ah, he figured it out." followed by Vegeta who comments, "It's only natural to see through it."

Frost starts firing volleys of energy beams at Piccolo, but Piccolo evades them while attempting to attack Frost several times with Ki blasts and energy beams while still continuing to store energy for the Special Beam Cannon. 

However, when Piccolo tries to get closer to Frost to hit him, Frost starts firing even more energy beams almost like a gatling gun and one pierces through his leg making him fall from the sky, but Piccolo is able to regain his balance, land on the floor, and keep his stored energy. 

Seeing that, Frost praises, "Such concentration." before he comments, "But with that wound, you won't be able to run around anymore."

Suddenly Piccolo uses Multi Form to create multiple clones of himself surprising Frost while Champa loudly complains, "He's just been runnin' around the entire fight! Referee, give him a yellow card! Or even better, just disqualify him!"

In response, the referee explains, "This is a battle tactics. It is not against the rules." which upsets Champa who says, "A lowly referre dares to defy a God of Destruction?!"

Shortly after he said that Beerus shouted, "Shut up! When it comes to a match, a referee is greater than a god!"

Meanwhile, Frost continues to fire off a few more energy beams to destroy the clones, but when he realizes that Piccolo is simply stalling for time, he uses an explosive wave to wipe out all of the clones leaving the one real Piccolo behind. 

Then Frost doesn't waste any time and quickly charges toward Piccolo attacking him with a quick series of punches forcing him to continously step back and defend using only one hand.

Frost continues to put pressure on Piccolo until he finds an opening in his defenses and exploit them by delivering a low kick to his already injuried leg quickly followed by a punch to his stomach that forces Piccolo to disperse the stored Ki, and by another flying kick to his abdome which pushes Piccolo toward the borders of the ring. 

Because of his upcoming victory, Frost lowers his guard which allows Piccolo to use the Namekian's ability to stretch their arms by expanding and contracting the cells in their body through willpower which allows him to grab opponents that are out of the normal reach of the user's unstretched arms, in this particular case, he wrap his left arm around Frost. 

Shocked by the sudden change, Frost can't stop himself from exclaiming, "What!? What's this!?"

Piccolo once again gathers his energy for the Special Beam Cannon and declares, "Got you, Frost." before he calmly explains, "Not only was I thinking about how to best store my Ki, but also... How to hit you."

Hearing that, the trapped Frost starts to explain, "I was distracted by your rising Ki. I thought I had won once I forced your Ki to disperse." but Piccolo doesn't wait and finishes what Frost was saying, "And there you revealed your opening."

At this point, Frost realizes, "Could it be that you allowed me to pierce your leg in order to create this situation?" to which Piccolo simply nods making Frost admit, "I've been deceived. This was your trump card. Certainly, a knockout blow is inevitable."

Piccolo then proudly states, "I may not look it, but in Universe 7, I'm known as a strategist. You didn't know about my fighting style, and that's the reason you lost!" but while Piccolo is saying that, I notice that Frost is stealthly positioning his arm in a way to easily use his posionous stinger.

Suddenly, just as Piccolo is ready to fire the Special Beam Cannon, Frost poison him with his stinger and as result, Piccolo gets dizzy.

Then Piccolo tries to use the move, but Frost gets free shouting, "You're wide open!" before he quickly closes into Piccolo and mutters, "Had I been hit by that technique, I would've surely lost. You fought exceptionally." 

Shortly after saying that, Frost blasts Piccolo through his abdomen and as Piccolo falls to the ground, the Special Beam Cannon is then fired toward the barrier ceiling, creating a hole in it perfectily showcasing the piercing power of Piccolo's technique to the point that Champa exclaims in shock, "My super-strong dome!" but Vados quickly reassures him, "I'll make sure to fix it."

At the same time, the referee rushes toward Piccolo and checks on his state by lightly pinching the side of his neck, then after a few moments of silence, the referee stands up and declares, "Winner, contestant Frost!"

Just as Champa is gloating over the result, Jaco stands up and shouts, "Objection!" surprising everyone before he walks up to the platform's border and continues, "That was a foul play!"

Hearing that, the referee moves closer to the platform of Universe 7's Team and asks, "Eh? What do you mean?"

Without any hesitation on his part, Jaco points at Frost and declares, "Contestant Frost is using a weapon!" which makes the surprised referee repeat, "Weapon?"

Jaco then says, "Examine his right arm. He's concealing a needle of some kind in there! My eyes cannot be deceived."

In response to Jaco's accusations, Champa stands up and shouts, "What was that!? Quit making such pathetic accusations!" followed by Cabba who adds, "That's right! I fought alongside Frost-san on planet Mayonnai. He is a hero who risked his own life to defend the citizens against space pirates. He would never cheat!"

Even Goku comes to the defense of Frost by saying, "Jaco, Frost just isn't the type." which makes Son Goza beside me groan as he comments, "Come on, dad! I truly love you, but sometimes you are just too gullible. I truly lost count of how many times you were tricked by a cunning opponent."

At the same time, Vegeta pushes Goku out of the way and asks Jaco, "You saw it?" Jaco smirked and replied, "Those who underestimate my eyesight get burned."

Hearing that, Vegeta doesn't hesitate to request, "Referee, perform a body check!" which makes the referee stumble a little as he says, "Y-yeah!"

Meanwhile, Champa sits on the couch, and in an annoyed tone, he hypocritically says, "Making such shameful accusations simply because your side lost. Go ahead, then. But, if nothing's found, I'll destroy you."

This threat immediately makes Jaco's cowardly side resurface as he steps back and stutters, "N-Never mind, then-." but before he can continue, Beerus stands up and declares, "No, investigate properly. After all, whether or not you get destroyed is no concern of mine." followed by Vegeta who agrees, "It's not my concern either." before he repeats, "Referee, hurry and check him!"

With bated breath, everyone watches as the referee slowly approaches Frost before he starts to check his right arm, and when he rubs on his wrist then a needle pops out. 

He carefully touches the needle then he gets woozy declaring, "Aahh! The world is spinning." before he falls onto the floor shortly after.

While Jaco and Vegeta are happy with the result, Champa is clearly mad as he exclaims, "W-What's the meaning of this!?"

In response, Frost calmly raises his right arm and with a leisurely attitude, he declares, "This is no weapon. It is a part of my body." but the referee, who is recovering from the poison, slowly stands up and states, "N-No. There are clear signs of modification... Contestant Frost is disqualified for breaking the rules! The winner is contestant Piccolo!"

At the same time, while Bulma cheers, "Not bad, Jaco! For once in your life, you looked kinda cool!" a shocked Champa exclaims, "You must be kidding!" followed by an equally shocked Cabba who questions, "But why? Why would someone as noble as you resort to something so cowardly?"

In response to that, Vados catches everyone's attention and makes Patamon shudder as she says, "Ara ara~." before she explains, "There's nothing strange about it. That is Frost-san's true nature. The space pirates who attacked the planet Mayonnai were part of an underground organization led by him."

Shocked Cabba looks at Vados and asks, "What was that?" while all the other who brought Frost lies look equally shocked.

In response, Frost turns in the direction of Universe 6 Team's platform and says, "That's quite a heartless thing to say, isn't it, Vados-san?" before he laughs in perfect Frieza style, "Hohoho."

Then Frost proudly explains, "I start wars and resolve them myself... Then I purchase the war-ravaged lands at a low price, before restoring and reselling them for a huge profit! It was I who invented this business scheme." 

In response to Frost's admission, Goku lets out a heavy sigh while holding his head with one hand, at the same time, Beerus comments, "What? His actions are similar to what Frieza used to do." followed by Whis who adds, "In order to camouflage his rule-breaking, he played the role of a good man."

Shortly after Whis said that Vegeta snorts and said, "Even if he was from another universe, there's no way Frieza or his equivalent could be a good man."

While the people of the guest platform of Universe 7 are booing Frost, Piccolo slowly stands up and looking at his opponent says, "Rather than you falling for my trap, it was me who fell for yours, instead."

After saying that, Piccolo quickly regenerates the hole in his abdomen left behind by Frost's previous attack. 

In response to Piccolo's words, Frost smirks and mockingly shoots back, "You didn't know about my fighting style, that's the reason you lost, Mr. Strategist."

At the same time, an upset Champa addresses Vados by questioning her, "What the hell is this? Why did you choose that guy?" to which she calmly replies, "You didn't instruct me to bring only those with good behavior. On the contrary. Didn't you say, "What a pain, just bring me people who'll definitely win.""

Vados' response stumps the God of Destruction who is unable to say anything against his attendant's actions.

Frost casually starts to leave the arena while saying, "Well, don't let me keep you. Good luck in the next match." but then Champa raises his hand pointing it at Frost while saying, "Humiliating me with such a shameful act. I'll destroy you."

Just a few moments before Champa is about to unleash his Hakai to destroy Frost, Champa is stopped by Cell who for the first time moves from his position, stands up from the couch, and walks to the border of the platform before yelling, "Wait a moment! There is no need to destroy or disqualify him. It's my turn next. I'll beat this shameless individual and prove to everyone just how pathetic and weak he truly is. I'll humiliate him perfectly."

In response, the referee states, "But, contestant Piccolo's loss has been retracted. Therefore, he will be participating in the next match..." but then Vegeta quickly says, "Then Piccolo is forfeiting." followed by Nappa who yells, "Hell yeah! The green guy is just as prone to dying as pipsqueak over here. It is better if he retires since he just took a beating!"

Shortly after, Cell smirks and calmly says, "Indeed, he did spend quite a bit of energy fighting Frost on top of regenerating his wounds. At this point, he won't be much of a threat to the other contestant even more so as he lost the surprise factor."

Piccolo stares at the two of them for a few moments before he says, "Yeah... So I am." which makes Champa exclaim, "Hey, hold on! I won't feel satisfied unless I get to destroy him! Don't hurry things along for your own purposes!" but Vados then says, "Isn't this good for us? The disqualification has been retracted, and his opponent forfeited. It's our win. There isn't a downside for us."

Hearing that, Champa mutters hesitantly, "That's true, but..." but then Vados asks, "Or would you prefer losing to Beerus-sama?" which stumps Champa for a few moments until he turns back and shouts, "Frost! If you win the next match, I'll forgive the fact that you embarrassed me! Win the fight after that too, and I might consider offering you some financial support! Go, win!"

In response to the declaration of Universe 6's God of Destruction, Frost simply smirks confidentily while Beerus sighs and says, "How annoying. That's the laugh of a guy who looks down on everyone." which makes Whis quickly quips, "Exactly like yours, Beerus-sama." 

At this point, Beerus quickly changes the topic by yelling, "Hey! Cell! Be sure to settle this and make me feel better! Got it!?"

In response, Cell turns his head to look at the God of Destruction of Universe 7, smirks, and arrogantly says, "Don't worry about it, Beerus-san. It will be a perfect victory."

After saying that, Cell flies down the platform for his match and as soon as he lands on the ring, Goku cheers him, "Cell! We are counting on you!"

At the same time, Frost looks at his opponent and says, "Allowing me to take the win shows that you are quite confident indeed. I hope you understand that you might regret this."

In response to his words, Cell smiles faintly and says, "Heh, I am not confident, I'm absolutely sure that you have no chance in hell of beating me. You are simply a pathetic, weak, and inferior being that relies on petty tricks. Destroying you would be a decent warm-up for the next matches."
