Barefaced

You sit at the table, looking out the window. Draken is holding the menu in his hand, examining it. He looks at you and then back at the menu. "You haven't even looked at the menu..." He sighs pointing towards the menu in front of you. You continue to look out the window. "Yuki-"

"I'm not hungry..." You reply, still looking out the window. Draken sighs and leans back. 

"There's Udon... Pork Katsudon. They also have-"

"I'm not hungry..." You interrupt. Draken looks at you and closes the menu. 

"Then let's go." He says standing up.

"Are you going to take me home?" You ask. Draken doesn't respond. You get on his bike, holding onto the seat. Draken drives for a while before stopping in front of a building. You get off his bike and stare through the store window. It's an Ice cream shop... He didn't take you home... He motions you to walk into the shop. You walk in. The aroma in the air smells so sweet. It gives you the jitters. Draken walks up to the window where it displays the Ice cream. You walk up to the window too. There are so many flavors.

"Do you want any?" He asks looking down at you. You stare quietly at the Ice cream. A woman walks up from the other side and smiles at the two of you. 

"What may I get for the two of you?" The woman asks.

"Give us some ti-"

"Can I get mango?" You quietly say. The lady nods. Draken smiles and looks towards the lady.

"I'll get the same." Draken says. The lady nods and smiles. The two of you sit in the corner of the shop eating mango Ice cream. "You seem better... You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to but know I am here to listen." You look down at your Ice cream as he says that.

"Why do you act like you care?" You ask. "We only just met... and you're being so nice to me... why?" Draken places his spoon back down and sighs. 

"I'm not acting... It's just respect. Mikey showed some interest in you-" Draken starts.

"Interest in me?" You furrow your eyebrows.

"Yes. He doesn't really care about things unless it interests him. When he wants something then... Never mind. Are you enjoying the Ice cream?" He asks. You nod.

"You mention respect... You care about that?" You question. He raises an eyebrow.

"About respect?" He asks.

"Yeah."

"Yeah... Giving respect is important to me. If you respect me then I will respect you. That's how I see it." He adds. You slowly nod.

"Then why do you stick around Mikey?" You ask. Draken stays quiet a bit before answering your question.

"Mikey can seem like a handful but he's not what you think he is. I respect Mikey and I will support him no matter what." Draken states. You nod again. "Do you not like Mikey?" He asks. 

"It's not that... I just don't like Toman... it's all so messy." You reply. Draken sighs and looks out the window.

"Yeah. There's a lot going on. Thing's will change... I promise. And about what you said earlier, we would never hurt an innocent person." Draken implies. 

After eating Ice cream, the two of you leave. 

The two of you arrive at your grandmother's bakery. You hop off his motorcycle and you walk towards the front door. The bakery said it was closed. You narrow your eyes in confusion. "Does your grandmother normally close the bakery this early?" Draken asks. You slowly shake your head. You open the door, and you walk towards the back. Draken walks in and waits by the door. You slowly turn around to look at Draken.

"Are you going to leave?" You ask. Draken shrugs looking at the painting on the wall. 

"Do you want me to leave?" He asks. You stand still thinking about it. Draken slowly walks up to you. "I'm supposed to stay with you until it's time to meet at the shrine tonight. I can leave and come back and get you if you want to be alone." Draken offered. You look towards the back of the bakery and then back at Draken. You felt kind of bad for making him leave after he bought you Ice cream, but you didn't want him to stay. If he did stay, then what would you two do? You don't have any video games or much fun things to do. The board games you own are meant for more than two people... then you thought- Movies...

"Do you like to watch movies?" You ask. Draken nods. 

"I watch films from time to time... why?" 

"Do you want to watch a movie with me?" You ask. 

"Yeah, we can watch a movie." He replies. 

Once the two of you walk up stairs, Draken sits down on the couch. You go through a box of DVD's Yuki has stored under the coffee table. 

"You like romance, huh?" Draken chuckles, watching you go through the box of DVD's. You guess Yuki does like romance movies since she has so many. You sigh wanting to give up on picking a movie...

"Never mind." You sigh, laying down flat on your back. You slowly close your eyes and quietly groan. You feel Draken move your legs to the side. You open your eyes a bit to see Draken looking through the box of DVD's. You slowly sit up, watching him go through the box.

"You like old films too?" Draken questions. "Here..." He says pulling out an old comedy movie. 

"That movie?" You ask. Draken nods.

"What? You don't like this movie?" He slowly stands up and walks over to the DVD player. 

"I... I'm just surprised you chose that movie." You respond, slowly sitting down on the couch. 

"I haven't watched this movie before, but I do like funny movies." He says, putting the disk inside the DVD player and then he sits down on the couch.

30 minutes into the movie, neither you nor Draken has laughed. Draken has kept a straight face on the entire time. He sighs loudly and leans back further than he did before.

"You're not enjoying the movie?" You ask looking at him.

"Nah... it's making me sleepy honestly..." He replies.

"I'm sorry." You quietly say standing up and walking towards the DVD player. 

"Don't apologize. I chose the movie... not you." Draken comforts. You smile pulling the disk out and putting it back into its case. "You're done watching the movie?" He asks. You nod. "Are you sure? You don't have to stop playing the movie because of me..." Draken sits up. You sigh closing the DVD case and tossing it back into the box, and then pushing it under the table. Draken sighs too, leaning back. You sit down and lean back closing your eyes. 

After keeping your eyes closed for a bit you start to realize you feel tired, so you start to drift into sleep.

"Are you falling asleep?" Draken asks. You slowly open your eyes to look at him. He's still leaned back on the couch. His head is resting on the back of the couch. He has his head turned to look at you. 

"I'm kind of bored... so I'm getting sleepy." You reply.

"Then do something..." Draken implies.

"Like what?" You ask, turning your head to look at him better. The strand of hair is resting on his face. His eyes are dim as if he is falling asleep. 

"I don't know... whatever it is you usually like to do." Draken sighs.

"Do you have a girlfriend?" You quietly ask. Draken raises an eyebrow to that question.

"That was random..." Yeah that was random... "Why are you asking me that?" He chuckles. Why are you asking that? You shake your head and sigh. 

"I don't know... I'm just wondering." You reply.

"Wondering? Why?" He questions. You thought about it for a bit and you softly sigh. You start to wonder about the little things that you were forgetting. In the manga Draken and Emma likes each other but now that you think of it... where is Emma?

"Does Mikey have any siblings?" You ask. Draken looks at you again, still resting his head back. Then he looks forward, closing his eyes.

"Yeah. He has two siblings." 

"Does he have a sister?" You ask. Draken nods.

"Yeah. Why?" 

"Older or younger?" Draken doesn't respond right away, making you look at him.

"Younger." He says. You slowly nod.

"Are you close with her?" You ask. Draken sighs and looks at you.

"Why?" 

"Why what?" You question.

"Why do you want to know that?" He asks.

"Love interest..." You blankly say.

"Love interest? What?" 

"Sometimes a guy would like his friend's sister. Like in the books or movies... the guy would have a crush on his friend's sister and then the sister and the guy would end up together in the end..." You add.

"Oh... no. It's not like that." He responds. Then he laughs.

"Why do you say that?" You ask.

"She has a boyfriend and I'm not interested in her." He replies. 

"A boyfriend?" You sputtered. Draken looks at you confused because of your sudden change of tone. 

"Why are you asking all of this? Were you hoping I was taken?" Draken teases. You slowly shake your head. Draken isn't interested in Emma and Emma is dating someone else??? There's a lot of difference between this reality and the manga. But you can't jump much into conclusion because you haven't been around everyone enough to know.

"You have to go to the shrine later... right?" 

"We are going to the shrine later, yes." Draken replies. You sigh. "We have a few hours before then..." He adds. You slowly nod your head. This is getting boring and awkward You thought to yourself.

"Do you have a boyfriend?" He asks.

"No..."

"Have you ever had a boyfriend?" 

"No..."

"Do you like anyone as of now?" He questions.

"No..."

"I thought you and Ren had a thing for each other." Draken adds.

"More like my friend. I don't like him... Ren and I aren't like that, and never will be like that. Besides I'm not interested in dating as of now." You comment.

"Yeah?" He chuckles, smiling at you. "Have you ever kissed someone?" He asks. You slowly shake your head. 

"Have you?" You ask.

"Maybe..." You smile at his response.

"Maybe?" You quietly chuckle. He nods. You lay to the side, and you close your eyes, resting your head on the arm of the couch. Draken notices you falling asleep. He stay's quiet, choosing to leave you alone.

After sleeping a few hours Draken shakes you awake. You slowly open your eyes to a dim room.

"Yuki..." He calmly says. You slowly sit up rubbing your eyes. "We have to go... Do you have a sweatshirt or hoodie?" He asks looking around the living room. "It's cold outside..." He adds. You slowly nod and stand-up walking towards your bedroom closet. You grab a hoodie and put it on. 

You and Draken leave your house and rode to the shrine. When you arrive at the shrine you see a lot of motorcycles outside. Draken helps you off the motorcycle and you follow behind him up the steps towards the shrine. When you reach the top, you see a group of guys crowded around. They are all wearing black uniforms. Draken motions you to walk with him. The two of you walk through the crowd of people as they make way for Draken. Draken walks up the stairs and you stand at the bottom of the stairs. You look at the Toman members who are staring back at you. You feel uncomfortable so you look down at the ground.

"This is the first time I've seen a girl at a meet before." A voice says from behind you. You turn to see who said that. It's Mitsuya.

"I haven't introduced myself yet... I'm Takashi Mitsuya." He say's smiling. 

"Takashi?" You say. He nods. 

"You have a such a small figure... You really beat up Moebius members?" Mitsuya chuckles. "You can make a really good model with a complexation like yours..." He adds.

"Oi... Yuki." Baji listlessly says, walking towards you. 

"Baji-" Mitsuya sighs.

"I don't care whether Mikey likes you or not... I still don't trust you-" Baji says towering over you. 

"BAJI" Draken yells out to Baji. Baji scoffs, glaring at you and turning to walk towards Draken. You look towards the ground, fidgeting with your sweater sleeve. 

"Hey, just ignore him. He's just very- protective." Chifuyu says smiling at you. 

"Can I see your hands?" Mitsuya asks reaching out for your hands. You slowly nod. He grabs your hands and examines them. "You have such delicate skin... you don't even look like you do anything physical... Did you really fight those guys?" He questions, smiling at you. You slowly nod. 

"You should be a model... You would look really cute on a cover image..." Mitsuya adds. 

"Yeah, but she's too short..." Chifuyu chuckles. "But I've seen short girls model before... so I believe she could make a good amateur model." He adds.

"..."Mitsuya looks at you again and smiles. "You should be a model for me..." He sooths. "I'm also an amateur clothing designer, so I believe you would make a great model for me for the time being." Mitsuya chuckles. Chifuyu smiles and nods. You raise an eyebrow out of confusion which makes Mitsuya laugh more. 

"GOOD WORK- PRESIDENT!" Everyone yells bowing down. You look towards everyone to see Mikey walking through the crowd of people. He has a straight face and a cold looking demeanor. He walks up the stairs, turning and facing everyone. Mikey looks down at you before sitting down.
