Chapter 33: Chapter 33
[Third POV]
A war of gigantic proportion had started in the human world and multiple beings started taking action to obtain the most benefits out of it, ignoring the real danger they were into.
Meanwhile in a differrent dimension connected to the spirit world the ones that started this war were having a conversation that would change everything was taking place.
"This was not part of the plan Vaatu! Why did you start the war already?" Terra asked, clearly furious with Vaatu's actions.
"Raava was getting suspicious. Visiting multiple concept-level spirits in a small amount of time must have alarmed her and she found about the vanishment of talented humans." Vaatu replied calmly.
"I told you that we shouldn't use talented humans. They are always easy to locate, I don't understand why you want to use them even if you can just empower normal ones."
"It's simple, using talented humans makes it easier to empower them and I don't have to waste too much energy on them. That way I can still hold Raava back, while hiding the existence of our army and I weaken the opponent's forces at the same time. Talents grow in peril after all."
"Yes, but due to your actions the war started way too early, I don't have that thing ready yet."
"It doesn't matter. That was created as a last resort, not as a simple soldier. We won't be needing it anytime soon." He replied with the same calm voice as before.
He paused for a while seemingly thinking about something.
"On another note, how many votes do we have?" he asked curious about the progression of his plans.
"We have 3 votes including Solon. Assuming that Chronos won't participate we need at least one more to keep this plan going." She answered after thinking for a while.
"Hmm..."
"Go to Thanatos and tell him I want to meet him, he owes me a favor after all." He said with the same tone as before.
Terra after hearing the casual way Vaatu was adressing her got furious.
"I am not your servant Vaatu. I am your partner, you seem to forget that." She said barely containing her anger.
"I am not forgeting, however I am under Raava's scrutiny, if I act right now she will know that I am actively participating in this war. That would complicate things, we need a little more time." He said, ignoring Terra's anger.
Terra took a deep breath to calm her nerves and answered him.
"I hope you know what you are doing. If your information is wrong then we would be screwed. Spending a couple million years in the void would be the least of our concerns."
"You don't have to worry about that. The information is correct. Just do what I say and everything will go as planned." He said as he teleported away.
Terra scoffed at Vaatu's overconfidense but followed his words and went to visit Thanatos.

'It's not perfect but it's honest work.' Solon thought as he looked towards the building in front of him.
A wooden building filled with small tables that can accomodate up to 4 people with floor cushions as seats and a small bookcase in the side of the room housing multiple books that may interest potential customers. It was simple but it took multiple days to create since Solon had to learn how to create furniture.
He looked at the side and saw a small grave plaque made of stone which contained the names of most people that perished in this town.
Some bodies weren't recognisable after all.
As for the bodies he was unable to find, he assumed that those people were lucky enough to escape.
While he was thinking, Solon heard the sound of someone closing in on him and once he turned to look at what he assumed to be a visitor he saw a single man dressed in armor riding an Ostrich horse.
"I have found a survivor!" The man screamed once he saw a living human.
After a while a large number of soldiers appeared, riding their own Ostrich.
"You there. Tell me what happened."
A man wearing a different outfit from the rest came closer and started giving orders to Solon.
Solon ignored the rudeness of the man as he assumed that the preparation for the war have taken a toll on him.
"Chaotic spirits attacked. Most of them were gone by the time I returned here but there are a dozens of them inside the forest north of here." Solon answered, curious to see how this man will handle the situation.
"I see. It seems we finally reached the limit. Gather up, we are retreating back to the border! Only carry the important things and leave everything else behind. We will retrieve them in the future, from now on our first priority is to return alive." The man said loudly allowing everyone to hear him.
"Give this man a ride." He added after looking at Solon once again.
Solon looked towards his shop once again with a smile and got on the Ostrich, following the man.
"I am sure you have a lot of questions, ask away I will answer to the best of my abilities." The man said as he looked at a map filled with notes, similar to the one Solon used to build those houses a while back.
"How is the general situation?" A question that surprised the man left Solon's mouth.
The question itself wasn't weird but it contained everything, it asked about supplies, soldiers, morale and even alliances and conflicts. Surely a question such as this should not be asked by a civilian but a general.
The man gave Solon a glance, before he once again turned towards the map in front of him.
