Astral's Adventures

Chapter 63: Astral's Rise Part 19: Dread

Getting back to his friends they all knew what was coming, the air had become slightly more tense. The remaining people must be pure heavy hitters left if they were saved for last. Knowing that it is close to the end, Jaimie grabbed onto Astral. "I'm not letting you leave me, not until it is time." Astral would hold onto her as she spoke. Hearing the worry in her voice, Astral tightened his grip on her.

"We have seen what he can do, Astral has got this." Astrid would hop on his back hugging him with her body. "Besides, only three people really gave Astral a hard time."

"Astrid, he is facing one of those three right now most likely." Adam showed a video of Astral going through the bubble and the forest he cut through. "If I had to guess, it's either these two or the man in that clad armor."

"If it is the bubble man, Astral will have to overcome the biggest hurdle yet." Anders spoke out of turn. "He used proper magic, I have no way of explaining how someone can go through something like that."

"Other than him, the armor of that man made Astral's sword look like a stick against his armor." Adam held the picture up of Murasama bouncing off of Lone's armor.

"We have some time to work at it and think, besides, with me being able to shift gravity, it adds another tool to the box." Astral held up his hand as he reduced the gravity around them. "I've already pushed it farther than the other person did."

James and Angel hooped in low gravity glee around the crew. James dived in pouncing on Adam. "Including the swordsman's breathwork and our aura and ability. You can crack the shell of the armored man. It may take some time but you could rake in on what you have so far."

Adam wrote on the notebook he had and showed what Astral gained. "Between gravity control, increased regeneration from the one swordswoman, their breathing ability and the twins' aura. You can only go up."

James cut off Adam. "Not only did you copy our total aura's but when we unlocked yours it expanded to the largest we have ever known."

"Thanks buddy." Astral patted James' head as the rest of them smiled.

"So any plans on actually developing any of these skills?" Anders grilled Astral on him improving. Using the pocket dimension would be the easiest way about this.

"Plenty of time to hone in with the battles remaining on the things I need to finish this." Astral popped up his hud and reorganized all his stacks to speed as a wave of silence washed on them.

"There are still five battles left. The remaining pool can't be that many people." Jaimie spoke looking at the illuminated board of remaining rounds.

Astrid would pull out the tablet and show the drone still flying around the moon. It was them, two girls standing together, the man in armor, a void filled bubble and Titan with the child. "These many people to be exact Jaimie."

"They are probably putting Titan and that baby he protected at the end." Astral would remark. "It took the most effort for me to move him, let alone defeating him will be its own challenge." Taking a deep breath he was happy to have those he cares about around him.

Angel landed on his shoulders and hovered above Astral. "Think in the third dimension. Not everything is all about a straight up fight." Astral peeked his head up to be met by Angel's eyes.

"I will have to use everything I got. Between my sets of wings, my armor and weapons. I have to use every trick and tactic." Astral's smile grew as the ones around him filled his spirits.

"I think this match will be alot more physical than you are thinking." Adam showed a few drone clips of what happened to people who tried to approach Mike.

"Holy shit, the dude just turned to mist!" James and Angel exclaimed as Astral rolled his eyes. Astral held his hand out as Alexa appeared.

"How much digging were you able to do?" Astral questioned the lady in his palms.

"A master of spells and physical fights, reports that I pulled from the god's database are quite clear, he and the armored one both have won in the past, both have access to the glove." Alexa droned on as Angel did a fake yawn.

"He has more natural talent than anyone else here, with his work ethic he was able to direct it all into what he has developed. Then the gods cut me out." Alexa stated as Astral nodded his head.

"You were shown what they wanted me to see. Magic is real. I will have to harness it versus him." Astral took a pause. "No small feat, but we," he wrapped his arms around everyone. "Are no normal people." He became engulfed with everyone hugging him.

The gods would be watching him. Wondering how he can improve. If Astral can hit that higher level. The orange orb glowed, humming as it spoke to the other two. "Can he do it?" the chimes of his voice soothing the others around them.

Purple gleamed. The voice soft as a cloud. "If he keys in and learns proper magic. He will." The orb swirled around being glad about the goal.

"Mike is no joke and Bloom will be a great distraction." The blue orb flowed like a river with his voice.

One of the eldest gods approached the three. "Sit back and enjoy these last few fights." telling the young ones to wait and see. "Astral, you may report when ready."

"Looking ahead guys, we are going to have a great future." Astral would smile, as he let go of Jaimie. Angel and Astrid hopped off of him. His wings would flare to life as he waves to them. The gap grew as he became ready. Before getting pulled in by a giant vine.
