ARCANE: Reincarnated with creation augmentation and destruction

Vi after waiting awhile hears something at the door. She looks up and sees a shadow outside the shop. 

Vi mentally prepares herself and stands up, ready for what's about to come.

Only for Vander, followed by Benzo to enter the shop.

Vi, seeing Vander is rightfully confused "Vander?"

Vander hearing Vi just sighs while walking towards her and says "We don't have much time."

Vi confusedly asks "How did you find me?"

Vander puts his hands on Vi's shoulders and says "I'm proud of you. Always have been."

Vi looks up at Vander and says "I'm sorry, I... This is the only way to protect the others."

While they are talking Benzo was on lookout. He heard the enforcer's approaching.

Benzo looks to Vander and in a hurried voice says "Vander, they're coming."

Vander gives Benzo a quick nod and looks back to Vi and says "You've got a good heart. Don't ever lose it. No matter how the world tries to break you."

After a small silence he continues "Protect the family."

Vi asks in a hurried and confused manner "What are you--"

Before she can finish speaking Vander pushes her into the back room and locks the door.

Vi quickly approaches the door and yells "Vander! Let me out. This isn't right."

Vander hearing her pleas looks crushed but he knows what he has to do.

As a guardian, and as a father.

Vander hers the enforcers enter the shop and the lead enforcer asks "I'm guessing that's for me."

Vander looks up at the one who spoke and remains silent.

The other enforcer gets impatient and takes his cuffs out of his belt and starts walking to the back room.

Vander stands in his way.

The enforcer just looks at Vander before saying "You gonna let us make the arrest or not?"

Vander looks at him and says "You'll oblige a doomed man one last smoke."

Vander takes out his pipe and a match and lights it up.

The main enforcer's eyes widen at what Vander is going to do.

After Vander takes a hit he says "Won't you?"

The main enforcer walks up besides Vander, looking straight ahead and says "I'm not putting you away, Vander."

Vander retorts "The council needs its pound of flesh."

The enforcer looks directly at Vander and says "Without you down here, it all falls apart."

Vander takes another hit and says "Benzo will handle things. He may not have my devilish charm, but he runs a tight ship."

Vi slams on the door yelling "Vander, no! You cant do this!"

The lead enforcer looks back to Vander and says while he walks by her "You won't be coming back for a long time."

Vander walks to the other enforcer and just says "I know."

As Vander is getting cuffed the lead enforcer asks "Why?"

Vander responds with "It's the only way."

Once he says this he starts walking out the door.

Vi is still pounding on the door screaming to Benzo "Benzo, open the damn door."

Benzo with a sad look sighs and follows Vander and the rest out of the shop.

Vi continues to pound on the door.

As she's pounding on the door she hears something and sees shadows outside through the small window.

Vi loos through the window and says "What's happening?"

As she's trying to look outside the window, it gets sprayed with blood.

And just outside the window there lay the dead body of the lead enforcer.

Outside the shop Vander, Benzo and the other enforcer look around trying to spot what was attacking them.

Benzo picks up the baton of the dead enforcer. He looks around and says "What the devil.."

Vander looks over the the corpse of the dead enforcer and utters in disbelief "no."

After a few seconds they hear somebody walking towards them.

From the fog a man with slicked back hair and a black eye emerges.

Both Vander and Benzo seems to recognize the man.

Benzo seeing the man says "Silco? You animal. Go crawl back into whatever hole you came out of."

Vander still in shock in seeing a man he thought to be dead quickly yells at Benzo "Benzo, no, stay back."

Silco looking at the approaching Benzo just says "You never did know when to walk away."

Vander quickly yells "Wait! NO!"

But it was to late. As Benzo was readying to strike Silco, he was attack.

What attached him was so fast Benzo could hardly recognize that he was already dead.

Seeing Benzo get attached and his body gushing blood on the floor.

Vander falls to his knees in disbelief and denial at what has just transpired.

Silco seeing the dead body just shakes his head and says "Hmm. Stubborn to the end."

The enforcer looks around and says "What the hell have you done? This wasn't the deal!"

Silco approach's the enforcer and throws a pouch of coins at him "Deals change."

As he finishes speaking the mutated monster that killed both the lead enforcer and Benzo starts to approach Vander.

Once the monster that used to be Deckard reaches Vander.

It raises its hand ready to swing.

Vi still watching from the window screams "NOOO!"

The monster swings its arm with so much strength that it knocks out Vander.

Silco seeing Vander go down just turns around and starts to leave.

The monster grabs Vander's unconscious body by the neck and drags him away, following Silco.

After who knows how long Vi hears the door unlock and in comes Echo.

Vi wipes away her tears and stands up.

She walks over to Echo and hugs him.

Echo begins to cry "I saw everything. Be... Benzo. They..."

Vi hearing this winces and asks "What about Vander?"

Echo responds "They took him."

Vi trying to be strong asks "Where?"

(Somewhere in the depths of the underground)

Vander was being dragged through an abandoned factory.

There were people forging weapons and producing vials of purple liquid all around the factory.

Silco looks at all the work going on around them and says "It's a little crude, I'll admit. The base violence necessary for change. But we both know topside won't listen to anything else."

Vander who was still being dragged was in no shape to respond.

But luckily or unluckily he was thrown up against a rail to catch his breath.

 Vander spits blood from his mouth and says "Even with your monsters, you won't win a war against Piltover."

Silco hearing this just says "I don't have to. I just need to scar them. They won't dare set foot in the undercity again."

Vander looks to Silco and says "You'll get people killed. For what? Pride?"

Silco hearing this responds in exasperation "For respect. Opportunity. Everything they've denied us."

Vander still hurting from the blow to his head says "You had my respect. The Lanes respect, but that... that was never enough for you."

Silco looks at Vander and says in anger "We shared a vision, Vander. A dream of freedom. Not just for the Lanes, but the whole of the underground, united as one... The nation of Zaun!"

Silco continued "Do you even remember? I trusted you. And you betrayed me."

Vander looked into Silco's eyes and said "What i did to you... I've never forgiven myself. You were my brother."

Silco though for a moment and said "No, you still don't understand. Can you imagine what it's like? When your blood mixes with the filth and the river toxins eat through your nerves."

He paused for a moment before continuing "Oh, I hated you for what you'd done. But as time passed, so did my hate. And i was left with an understanding. The only way to defeat a superior enemy is to stop at nothing. To become what they fear."

Silco looked like he was both annoyed and hatful "I hated you, but you kept my respect. Until you made peace with them. Played lapdog after everything we suffered."

Vander replied in a weak voice "I had no choice."

Silco just shakes his head "Perhaps. But now you do."

As he said that Silco held up a vial of the purple liquid.

Silco continued speaking "Shimmer. We have the power. We can finally realize our dream, brother."

Vander with a voice filled with sadness "Look at what you've done. Benzo. These kids. In fighting topside, you'd sacrifice everything that we are. It's not the way. Can't you see that? Kill me if you have to, but please spare the Lanes."

Silco mad at what he was hearing "You'd die for the cause, but you won't fight for one?"

Vander scoffed "I'm just... not that man anymore."

Silco in a annoyed voice says "I'll show you what you really are."

As he said that he started walking over to a room with a metal chair in the middle of it.

And the grunt that was dragging Vander before grabbed him and followed Silco into the room.

Mylo and Claggor were standing over a pile of weapons they had collected. 

Mylo look at them and said "Well, if the enforcers hit tonight, we'll be ready... I think"

Claggor nodded and quickly said "Dibs on the bat."

Mylo quickly argued "No, no, no, no. I found it."

Claggor replied "But i called it."

Mylo said back "But i found it."

Claggor annoyed said "Respect the dibs."

As they were arguing Vi entered the room.

Claggor looked at the door and said "Vi?"

Vi quickly ran down the stairs and asked "Where's the--"

Powder rushed to her side and hugged her "Oh, you're back."

Vi look at Powder and could barely hold back her tears. She quickly tried to grab Vander's gauntlets.

Mylo grabbed her hand and said "Hey. Those are Vander's. Slow down. What's going on?"

Vi just responded with "Benzo's dead."

Claggor in shock said "Dead?"

Vi continued "They took Vander."

Mylo asked in confusion "Who took Vander."

Vi quickly replied "I don't know. But i need to help him."

Mylo looked at Vi and said "We're coming with you."

Vi starting to get emotional said "Whatever killed Benzo... was like nothing I've ever seen. It tore him apart."

Both Claggor and Mylo put there hands on her shoulder and Claggor said "You're not doing this alone, Vi."

Mylo continued "He's our father too... Do we know where they took him?"

Vi grabbed Vander's gauntlets and said "Echo followed them. The old cannery next to the docks. He said..."

Vi saw powder getting her stuff together and said "I need you to sit this one out, Powder."

Powder hearing this was momentarily stunned "What?"

Vi continued "You're not coming."

Powder retorted "I'm not afraid and I'll have Cyrus with me, I'll be fine."

Vi looked at Cyrus and then to Powder "Still, it's to dangerous for you to come with."

Powder starting to get mad says "But family sticks together. You said it yourself."

Vi starting to get agitated says "I know what i said..."

Powder continued "I want to fight. I can help--"

Vi cut her off and said in an angry tone "You're not ready! You're all i have left. I cant lose you. Here. If they come for you, take this and run."

Vi handed Powder a flare and continued "Where ever you are, light it up, and I'll find you. I promise."

After she said that she gave Powder a final hug and walked towards the door.

Vi stopped at the door and looked at Cyrus "Protect her for me, would you?"

Cyrus who had been watching as the begging of the plot unfolded looked at Vi and said "Don't you worry, I'll take care of her."

Hearing this Vi gave Cyrus a weird look and walked away to go and try and save their father.

After they left, Cyrus tried to help Powder as she started to have an episode. She was crying and started throwing things until she threw her bag and the blue Hex crystals fell out of them.

Powder looked at the crystal and remembered the explosion and said "I can help them."

Meanwhile Cyrus just smiled and watched as Powder made the decision that would change everything. 

(Some time later)

Vi, Mylo, and Claggor had made it to the building that Echo told them about.

They climbed onto the roof and snuck in through a broken window.

Vi quietly spoke "Let's get in there and get out."

As they made it inside they saw and open room.

In the middle of the room was an unconscious Vander cuffed to a metal chair.

As they made there way into the room Vander saw them and spoke "Vi? What are you doing here?"

Hearing this Vi smiled and said "We're breaking you out of here... Mylo."

Mylo hearing he was up said "On it."

Vander, asks them in a confused tone "How... how did you get in? There's guards everywhere."

Vi looked to Vander and said :It was easy. We found an open window and..."

Vander hearing this could only say "Oh god. You have to get out. Now."

As if on queue they heard a voice "Welcome."

Silco slowly walked and clapped "You have my congratulations. But I'm afraid this will be a very short reunion."

As he said that a bunch of his goons walked into view "Have you heard the rumor? Vander the coward fled town with his children. And they were never seen again."

Claggor tried to break Vander free with a knife but the blade broke.

Vi seeing there situation said "Claggor, see if you can find another way out of here."

Claggor radially agreed "Okey."

Vander watched as Vi put on his gauntlets and said "You don't have to do this."

Vi responded "Yes i do."

Vi started walking towards the group of Silco's thugs.

Vander getting more worried said Vi!"

Outside the building Powder and Cyrus arrived and started to climb the building.

As the thugs approached vi she knocked the first couple out. While the rest slowly walked closer.

Meanwhile Mylo was trying and failing to pick Vander's bindings locks.

While the fight was still going on Silco brought out another vile of Shimmer and handed it to Deckard.

Deckard seeing the liquid knew what he had to do. Deckard, he downed the hole vial in a single gulp.

And then he began to change into his mutated form once more.

Seeing the thing that killed Benzo Vi took a breath and charged it.

Only for her to be grabbed by it and starting to be choked.

Vander seeing this yells to Silco "Silco! Let her go. This is between you and me."

Silco hearing Vander's pleas said "You hade your chance."

Deckard or whatever he was now threw Vi towards the cell.

She crawled into the room and slammed the sliding door shut.

Vander seeing this says "You did good."

Powder who was on the ledge grabbed the monkey toy she turned into a bomb by loading it full of the Hex crystals.

and set it to go in the direction of Deckard.

As the monkey approached Deckard it hit the unstable Hex crystals causing them to go unstable and prime for exploding.

Just as Mylo had released Vander fully the last hit went off and the crystals exploded. 

In the explosion everyone got caught in it.

Vander who was trapped under some rubble managed to get out from under it.

One of the last remaining thugs tried to charge him, Vander sent them flying.

As Vander advanced he struck the remaining goons and sent them over the edge.

As he was approaching Deckard, Deckard swung but Vander blocked it and threw a few strong punches to Deckard's gut.

But Vander didn't see Silco behind him and was stabbed in the back by Silco.

Silco spook "I knew you still had it in you."

As he finished saying that he pushed Vander off the ledge and into a bunch of Shimmer vials.

Silco walked forward and said to Deckard "Find the girl."

Deckard went into the room Vander was held in and pried the rubble of Vi.

But before Deckard could do anything to Vi another giant mutant appeared and snapped Deckard's neck.

The monster was Vander who took a vial of shimmer in order to save Vi from Deckard and Silco.

Just as Vander was about to pursue Silco he saw that the building was coming down and Vi was going to die so Vander grabbed Vi and jumped out of the building.

Vander had used his body to save Vi from the 3-4 story drop.

Vander looked at Vi and said weakly "Take care of Powder."

As he finishes saying that he slowly died leaving Vi by herself.

As Vi was getting up both Powder and Cyrus came around the corner as Powder was saying "Vi, it worked."

Vi looked to Powder and was lost for words and all she could say was "What?"

Powder continued "Did you see me. My monkey bomb finally worked!"

Cyrus looked at Powder and said "It was an amazing explosion Powder lets make a bigger one next time."

Vi look at them incredulously "Powder. You did this? Why? Why did you do this?"

Powder looked at the corpse of Vander on the ground and said "I... I didn't... I was saving you. I only wanted to help. I only wanted to help. I only wanted to--"

Vi interrupted her "I told you to stay away."

Powder hearing this starts to cry and says "Please. Please. Please--"

As she was talking Vi smacked her in the face hard enough to knock her to the ground.

Vi looked at Powder and said "I told you to stay away!"

Powder baffled that Vi hit her said "No. Why did you leave me?"

As Vi went to grab Powder by the face she felt a murders stare hit her as she saw the look on Cyrus's face that promised death if she continued.

Vi looked back to Powder and said "Because you're a jinx. Do you hear me? Mylo was right."

Powder hearing this started to have a mental breakdown saying "No. No. No. No. Violet, please."

Vi looks at Powders sobbing face and stand sup and starts to leave but she hears Cyrus say "If you leave right now don't regret your decision because i wont let you back into my and Powders lives."

Vi gives Cyrus a angry look and says "Oh, Fuck off" as she leaves.

Once Vi leaves Cyrus goes over and hugs Powder allowing her to cry into his chest.

A minute later Silco walks around the corner and walks up to both Powder and Cyrus.

Silco kneels down and says "Hello little girl. Where's your sister?"

Powder looked up and with force Cyrus didn't think she had launched both herself and Cyrus into the embrace of Silco.

Powder in an angry voice said "She left me. She is not my sister anymore."

Silco hearing this brings his hands around the two children and says "It's okey. We'll show them. We will show them all."
