ANOMALY AMONG GOD HEIR'S

Chapter 4: FIRST MEETUP

"lets see what fate awaits me" Nex said and he vanish from the place he was standing.

[STARTING TELEPORTATION TO SPACE CHAMBER]

Then at next moment, ~whoooss~

Slowly opening his eyes, Nex felt the air break and was greeted by a huge, breathtaking space area.

Nex was so taken aback by the sight that he forgot he was floating.

"Ooh Hey, Behind you" A voice came from behind as he turn back to look who's there.

"Yo hello there ,buddy" A boy with brown hair and green eyes greet Nex.

"Um, Hello?"Nex said awkwardly, (yeah he's introvert)

"wow, aren't you shy type, btw I'm Ethan ....Ethan Veil" Ethan introduce himself as extend his hand toward Nex.

Nex saw the hand extended towards him but after some minutes, he shake hands with him as he greeted Ethan.

"I'm Nex Abbysel"

"Dude, Don't think too much, I don't bite"

"after coming to this....um space chamber, I guess? You are the first person I speak with" Ethan said with smile on his face.

Nex listen to ethan as he turn around to see others and he saw four people floating in front of both of them. There were one boy and three girl at front.

"Are they-"

"They are also in the same situation as us" ethan said.

Nex stood silently, arms crossed, his gaze scanning the unfamiliar space.

"You good? You're a bit too calm for someone who just got teleported out of nowhere"

Nex didn't immediately answer. Instead, he extended a hand toward the space around them. His fingers brushed against something intangible yet structured, like an invisible system governing the chamber itself. His instincts told him this place was safe, but…

"I'm trying to figure out if this place is real… or just an illusion" Nex said

"Alright... this is new. Definitely wasn't expecting a trip to the freaking afterlife today" Ethan comment He has panic in his eyes.

"You are breathing so you are alive" Nex reassured Ethan.

-Third POV-

Meanwhile, Nex and Ethan engage in their curiosity toward the area, there stood two black hair figure talking to each other as they watch everything with curios and surprise eyes.

"That screen and now this sudden transport to this place, it was all too much for me and there's you who I didn't think will also be here" Girl said with serious voice.

"Same to you, so-called genius Eris" A boy voice

"This is wrong. Someone.....something.....brought us here, Karl I don't think it's good" Eris said as she continue

Karl gave a nod.

"There's other people also, I assume they are in the same boat as us"

"Lets just wait a little, we don't what might come for us" Karl being cautious as he look around to see other, Analyzing them.

--------

Other two siblings, on the other hand, stood close together. Unlike the others, who were focused on their surroundings, the two sisters were watching each other—concern flickering between them.

Ruby asked softly to Violet "Are you okay?"Violet nods, but her violet eyes remain uncertain "Yes, but… doesn't this feel off to you?"

Ruby bit her lip, her red eyes scanning the strange stars above.

"Yeah. It feels like… we're being watched."

Violet's grip on Ruby's wrist tightened slightly. It wasn't fear—it was just a silent confirmation that she felt the same.

Ruby, don't know what's happening, placed a comforting hand on her sister's shoulder.

"We stick together. No matter what."

"Um"

Both sister look around other individuals, "They also have same situation as us, So we aren't alone" Violet nodded.

Nex POV:

"Lets talk to other's, we should atleast wear off this tension atmosphere we have" Ethan suggest to Nex who was observing space chamber said without sparing a glance.

"Go on"

Hearing this Ethan smiled "Of course" as he turn toward everyone.

"Uh…Um.... okay. So, I don't remember signing up for an interdimensional kidnapping today. Did anyone else?" Ethan trying to be funny to ease tension in air.

No response.

Ethan glanced at the five others, their expressions ranging from cautious to outright suspicious. He ran a hand through his brown hair, eyes flicking between them.

Ethan (muttering with smile) "Great. What a terrible start"

Still, silence.

Ethan sighed dramatically before clearing his throat.

"Alright, since we're all clearly confused as hell, let's at least try talking,—names, anyone?"

Karl Draven, standing slightly apart, didn't answer immediately. His black eyes scanned the chamber.

His sister, Eris Draven, stood beside him,

But Ethan was persistent. He turned to them directly, grinning.

"You two—twins? Or just happened to get matching moods?"

Karl's gaze flicked to him, unreadable.

"…Not twins."

Ethan whistled.

"Wow. That's the coldest two words I've ever heard. Alright, mystery man."

Ethan looked at Nex with pleading eye

"Hey dude, help me with this awkwardness".

He gestured toward Nex , who stood slightly apart from the rest. Unlike the others, Nex wasn't tense or cautious—he was simply… watching

His blue eyes flickered, observing each of them without reacting, Ethan seeing Nex will not talk, he try to start communicate again.

But before Ethan could continue, a sharp voice cut in.

"Enough"

Ethan turned, blinking as Eris stepped slightly forward, her dark gaze locked onto him.

"We don't know who brought us here. We don't know why. And we certainly don't know if we can trust each other. You should stop wasting energy on meaningless chatter and focus on figuring out what's happening"

Ethan blinked.

"Jeez. You guys really don't like small talk, huh?" Ethan try to remain calm as he know this might arise tension for all of us.

Before Eris could snap back, another voice spoke—calmer, yet firm.

"He's just trying to ease the tension."

All eyes turned to Ruby, her red hair faintly illuminated by the chamber's glow. Beside her, Violet Everhart stood, eerily silent, her pale violet eyes flickering with quiet curiosity.

Ethan snapped his fingers.

"Thank you! Finally, someone reasonable."

Ruby offered a small smile.

"Tension won't help us. If we're all here for a reason, fighting isn't going to fix anything."

Violet, however, remained silent, her gaze locked onto Nex. Unlike the others, who reacted with either suspicion or confusion, she seemed… thoughtful. Studying him, just as he studied them.

Karl, still silent, finally exhaled, breaking his stance.

"We can figure out who brought us here later. For now, we wait."

Ethan grinned.

"See? We're making progress! We went from 'who are you' to 'let's all agree this is suspicious.' That's teamwork, people."

Seeing Ethan grin Nex and Karl just sighed.

Eris crossed her arms, scanning their surroundings.

"We don't just appear in places like this. This space… it's too perfect. Too controlled."

Karl gave a short nod. He didn't trust anything yet.

Then, the air shifted. A soft light—pure and calming—descended from above.

A voice followed, serene yet absolute.

"You are exactly where you are meant to be."

They all turned sharply.

Before them, standing gracefully, was a woman with crystal-clear white hair and piercing light-blue eyes. She radiated a presence that wasn't overwhelming, but absolute—like the will of the universe itself had shaped her existence.

The silence that followed was thick with unspoken questions.

Ethan, ever the first to speak, slowly raised a hand.

"Okay… so, are you God? Or did we just get recruited into some celestial cult?"

Sylph smiled.

"I am Sylph. A guide. A protector. And no, Ethan Veil, you are not dead."

Ethan exhaled dramatically.

"Whew. Okay, that's a relief. Hey Nex, you heard that, we aren't dead yet"

Nex narrowed his eyes slightly, he ignored Ethan comment.

"Then what is this place? Why are we here?"

Sylph's gaze met his, lingering just a fraction longer than the others.

"You are here because you are chosen. And it is time you learn why."

The revelation was only just beginning.
