Ancient Magic From The Stars

Sirius POV

Cinthy fell asleep against me so the potion could work with changing her into my daughter. I have a daughter I thought with awe. I will keep her safe I thought with renewed vigor she isn't just my god daughter my last link to James, she is my daughter as well. 

Looking up at Bloodfang I said, "I need Griphook here for when she wakes up we need to submit the paperwork for her name change. She has to have a star name if she is to be the heiress for the house of Black." Bloodfang nodded and sent one of the other goblins for Griphook. 

It took about 2 hours for Cinthy to wake up I couldn't see any physical changes yet but that would happen slowly over the next week so as to minimize the pain of the changes. I could however feel the Black Magic in her now it was a trickle that would grow with time as well. 

"Dad, what happened?" She asked groggily I chuckled at her and said, "You fell asleep so the potion could do what it was supposed to you will feel and see more changes to yourself over the next week. Right now we have to choose your new name. As the Black heiress you need to have a star name within yours. Your moms family had a tradition of flower names so we shouldn't change that but the Potter's have no such tradition however you are still the daughter of James and Lily Potter, we just added me to the mix. So I was thinking your new name could be Hyacinth Astra Potter-Black. What do you think pup."

She smiled at me and said, "I never liked my middle name anyway it was to plain in my opinion." I laughed at that and said, "Same here I never got why they picked Jane it's not like anyone on either side had that name. So we agree on your new name then?" 

"Yea Dad we agree I like the new name that my Dad picked for me." She said with a teasing tone. I grabbed my new daughter and wrapped her in a hug promising myself and James to never let her go. Wiping the tears from my eyes I cleared my throat and said, "Lets sign your name change documents and get your Lady Potter ring and your Heiress Black ring. We should also do a lineage test for you." She nodded as Griphook brought over the name change documents for us both to sign so she could legally and magically be my heir. While doing that Bloodfang brought over the stuff for a lineage test. 

Cinthy walked over to Bloodfang and pricked her finger allowing 7 drops of blood to fall onto the potion soaked parchment.

I look up at Bloodfang and ask, "What does Alteran mean? I have never seen this on a heritage test before?" 

Bloodfang looked chagrinned and said this isn't a heritage test Lord Black you asked for a Lineage test by mistake I presume so what you got was information on the Lady's true Lineage."

"Alright my mistake but what does this mean?" I all but snarl at the goblin who just sneers and laughs before he says, "While your kind might have forgotten where you came from we of the Furling Goblin Nation have not. We came from the stars through the Astra Porta long ago with the help of the Alterans. It seems the young Lady Potter-Black is now descended of three Alteran houses. The Pervelle, Wynn/Emrys and the Blacks more than likely making her more Alteran then Terran at the moment and before you ask Earth used to be called Terra so those originally born from Earth are Terran."

"Wait a minute so your saying my daughter is an alien?" I say but then look at Cinthy and see she is about to cry. I grab her in a hug and say, "I didn't mean that in a bad way, you are my daughter and I love you but I need to make sure this wont hurt you in anyway. I love you but we need more information." She nods but holds on to me tighter as I look back at Bloodfang.

He sighs and says, "There is no danger to the young lady but she is the Lady to 2 major Alteran houses and one minor one. The Pervelle and Wynn/Emrys vault in particular has more information on the Alteran people. All people in the wizarding world are descendants of the Alteran people that married into the Terran population. This happened after the return of the Alteran people from the Pegasus Galaxy. The 'magical' species are a result of experiments done by the Alteran scientists the main culprit being Janus which if I remember correctly is the Sire to the Black family line." He looked to Griphook for confirmation who nodded his head. "So I'm an alien as well, huh look at that pup we are aliens together." I said with laugh and was rewarded with Hyacinths own giggle. 

"So what about the Wynn/Emrys line are they the same or different because you keep saying them together?" I ask Bloodfang looks at me like I'm stupid before he says, "They are the same just one came from the daughter of Merlin who was a squib and one from his son who was a wizard although it is funny how the name was messed up in translation, Merlin's name that is."

Confused I asked, "What does that mean."

Bloodfang signed and said, "His name who you know as Merlin was actually Myrddin Wynn Emrys. Emrys being the name given to him by the druids which were native to Terra. So to the wizarding world he became Merlin Emrys but his real name was Myrddin Wynn. He lived for about 2 thousand years and had a few children some were wizards and others weren't. Wynn became the name his non 'magical' children chose and Emrys was his 'magical' descended line as the Emrys name became synonymous with him during the time of Arthur. The last Emrys was the late Euphemia Potter and I don't think she knew her grandfather was Merlin as his family called him Myrddin which we found truly hysterical. To the muggles he was Merlin Wynn and to the Wizards he was Myrddin Emrys when he wanted to live a quiet life as he was famous in both as Merlin Emrys. If you think about it that was something Salazar Slytherin would have done. He played his own son to the wizarding world, King Gringott was rolling on the floor when Myrddin came to set up that vault. It was merged with the Potter vault later but the original Vault was left untouched as it is a Wynn vault. So the young lady can now access it along with the Pervelle vault which is older than the Wynn not by much though."

I was at a loss for the information overload "So let me get this straight Hyacinth is twice over descended from Merlin as Emrys and Wynn." I said shocked Cinthy was gaping at me and that's when I lost it, I started rolling on the floor "Lily was a descended from a Black squib and Merlin," I roared with laughter "and they shunned her oh the irony." Cinthy look tickled by the idea and said, "So does that mean I am a pure-blood or a half-blood?" I look at her still laughing and say, "That means that they are stupid for not even realizing the truth." 

At that comment Bloodfang said, "We goblins have been saying that for years. I mean who forgets their own lineage." 

"I guess that would make me an idiot as well given the circumstances." Bloodfang nodded at that and said, "would you like to see your vaults Lady Potter-Black?" Cinthy nodded and said, "You can just call me Hyacinth I think that would be easier than Potter-Black." Bloodfang and Griphook nodded "Plus the Goblin Nation has done so much for me, from getting my Dad out of Azkaban to getting me out of the Dursley's I think you all have more than earned my friendship. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for saving me and my family." She said bowing her head slightly.
