Meanwhile, Wanda, who was inside the house reading the Darkhold, suddenly felt a chill run down her spine. She could clearly sense a terrifying power emanating from the backyard, so intense that it made her hair stand on end.

"Hode!"

Without caring about anything else, Wanda grabbed the sheepskin book and rushed toward the backyard.

However, the moment she reached the backyard, her steps came to an abrupt halt.

What lay before her was simply too horrifying, far beyond her comprehension. The scene of the earth transforming, the ground cracking open, accompanied by the howling winds of a storm, all attested to the sheer terror of this power. Despite the ominous nature of what was happening, there was no real commotion yet the ground had inexplicably formed a gigantic pit.

It was as if something had been swallowed whole, and even the surfaces of the boulders underground appeared unnaturally smooth.

Hode was suspended above this massive pit, his arms outstretched as if he were a deity descending from the heavens.

He brought with him an indescribable fear, one that permeated the atmosphere.

"Hode, what's going on?"

Wanda directed her terrified gaze at Hode, and the more she looked, the more shocked she became at the immense energy radiating from him. She believed her own chaos magic was quite powerful, yet it seemed insignificant compared to Hode's strength. Furthermore, she was acutely aware that the energy Hode was unleashing was far more potent than what he had used against the brute minotaurs.

It was as if Hode had become incredibly adept at controlling this power, so much so that during their previous encounters he had merely contained it to avoid causing destruction. But this made it all the more terrifying, as the greater the power contained within, the harder it became to manage with precision.

It was akin to the difference between an adult wielding a heavy axe to chop wood and a child doing the same with the same weight. The level of control would differ greatly, and it was this discrepancy that made the power so fearsome.

What was even more alarming was that this power showed no signs of abating. Instead, it rapidly spread outward like a desert that devours all life. Wherever it extended, trees and fields were reduced to black dust. No matter how sturdy the object, there was no escape from the embrace of this force.

Once this force reached the towering walls, they crumbled and disintegrated rapidly.

"Hode, are you planning to tear this place down?"

Wanda exclaimed, her voice laced with urgency as she observed the house nearly disintegrating before her. She was hesitant to approach Hode, for he was the source of this power. She had no idea if getting too close would result in her own disappearance alongside everything else.

At that moment, however, Hode paid no attention to Wanda standing nearby. Instead, he slowly closed his eyes, a faint smile on his lips as he savored the power around him.
