Chapter 4:
Chapter 4: My Name Is Yu Siya, From the Heavenly Fox Holy Land:
“This girl is wonderful. If only she were really our daughter-in-law,” Xia Feng’s mother said with a warm smile, her eyes full of fondness as she looked at the young woman.
“Stop talking nonsense,” Xia Feng’s father scolded, glaring at her before turning to the woman. “Miss, you should leave now. Don’t throw your life away for us.”
He was urging her to leave—not just because he didn’t want to see someone so young die at the hands of the Mist Mountain Sect’s Grand Elder—but also because he feared her recklessness might provoke the elder into retaliating against the Xia family. That would be a disaster.
“Uncle Xia, it’s fine. Don’t worry. He’s not capable of hurting me,” the woman said with a calm smile as she looked at Xia Feng’s father.
“Miss, he’s the Grand Elder of Mist Mountain Sect—a 9th stage Heaven Realm Martial Lord,” Xia Feng gently reminded her.
“It’s alright. So what if he’s a 9th stage Heaven Realm Martial Lord? Don’t worry, husband. I’m really strong.” She waved her little fist and flashed a sweet smile.
“What arrogance,” the Grand Elder of Mist Mountain Sect sneered in anger. “I’d like to see what you’re capable of to speak of me and my sect with such disdain.”
As soon as he finished speaking, his aura surged again.
Everyone around them stepped back once more, not daring to get too close.
The aura of a 9th stage Heaven Realm Martial Lord was simply terrifying.
But the woman took a single step forward, and in a flash, appeared in front of Xia Feng and his family, shielding them from the immense pressure.
She then raised her head to look at the Grand Elder and said coldly, “Almost forgot—you insulted my husband too. Kneel and apologize to him. Beg his forgiveness. Otherwise, I’ll cut out your tongue and make sure you never speak again.”
“Hahaha!” The Grand Elder threw his head back and laughed, though his laughter was filled with fury. “It’s been a long time since anyone dared speak to me like that. Girl, you’ve truly angered me. No matter where you come from, today I’ll teach you, on behalf of your elders, how to speak to your seniors. Cloud Mountain Palm!”
As he spoke, he struck through the air. A massive palm, over three meters wide, formed out of thin air and slammed down toward the woman.
“Cloud Mountain Palm—one of Mist Mountain Sect’s secret techniques. A top-grade mid-tier martial art. Its power is incredible!”
“I heard that when mastered, it can form a palm ten meters long. He probably held back because they’re inside the restaurant.”
“Even so, this strike could easily shatter a small mountain!”
The guests were stunned and whispered in awe.
Martial arts and techniques were ranked: low, mid, high, top, peerless, royal, saint, emperor, and divine. Each rank was further divided into inferior, average, superior, and supreme grades.
Top-tier techniques were meant for Martial Lords.
Not even one top-tier martial technique existed in all of Xingyu City.
“Strike my husband, and you’ll pay the price,” Liu Shiyu said coldly, a glint of excitement flashing in her eyes.
“Miss, you—” Xia Feng had just opened his mouth when a powerful shield of energy burst from the woman’s body, surrounding her and the entire Xia family.
“Husband, don’t worry. I’ll protect you,” she said gently as she turned to look at him.
With her flawless face so close and the faint fragrance in the air, Xia Feng couldn’t help but swallow nervously, nearly losing himself in the moment.
“Shameless couple! I’d like to see how long you can act so arrogant!” Liu Shiyu’s eyes were cold, her rage overflowing.
She had just broken off the engagement, and now Xia Feng was flirting with a woman even more beautiful and stronger than her? She couldn’t accept it.
That useless trash should be scorned and humiliated by everyone. Only then would her decision to break the engagement be justified.
BOOM!
The Cloud Mountain Palm struck the shield with a thunderous crash. The shockwave from the impact shattered all the nearby tables and chairs. The entire restaurant shook violently, as if it were about to collapse.
“That power… terrifying!”
“Such a strong Cloud Mountain Palm, and it still couldn’t break through that woman’s shield?”
“She’s even stronger than we thought!”
The guests were once again in shock.
“Impossible!” The Grand Elder of Mist Mountain Sect looked horrified. No one besides the sect master—who had stepped into the Martial Venerable Realm—had ever withstood his Cloud Mountain Palm so easily.
Could this woman already be in the Martial Venerable Realm?
No—impossible!
She looked about the same age as Liu Shiyu. How could she possibly have reached that realm?
It must be the martial technique.
Could it be a peerless… or even a royal-grade technique?
As that thought crossed his mind, greed appeared in the Grand Elder’s eyes.
If he could master that technique, his strength would soar.
“My turn now?” the woman said calmly, her eyes glowing with red light. “I said… kneel.”
A charm-based martial art?
Not good!
The Grand Elder realized the danger the moment he locked eyes with her, but it was already too late.
His gaze instantly became dazed, and with a loud thud, he dropped to his knees.
“What—?!”
Everyone was dumbfounded.
Both the Liu and Xia families stared in shock, mouths agape.
The powerful 9th stage Heaven Realm Martial Lord had actually dropped to his knees… just from one sentence?
He was attacking fiercely one moment—and kneeling the next?
“Master!” Liu Shiyu was stunned. She rushed over and tried to help him up, but no matter how hard she pulled, she couldn’t move him an inch.
She didn’t understand what had happened to him.
Xia Feng exclaimed in disbelief, “Her words… have power?”
Was this woman really that strong?
Other than the Grand Elder, no one had looked into her eyes. No one saw what she did.
The woman turned back around and smiled sweetly. Her beautiful face lit up with warmth. “Husband, that wasn’t a command spell. I haven’t reached that level yet.”
“Then what kind of martial art was that?” Xia Feng asked curiously.
Everyone around was listening closely, eager to know.
“Charm Technique. Husband, do you want to try it too?” she teased with a playful grin.
“Charm?” Xia Feng glanced at the dazed Grand Elder still kneeling on the ground and shivered. He quickly waved his hands and said with a dry laugh, “No thanks!”
“Don’t worry, I’d never use my martial arts on you,” she said sweetly. “Of course, if you’ve got any… special tastes, I could indulge them.”
“Special… tastes?” Xia Feng froze and couldn’t help but think of something inappropriate. He gave a nervous laugh, not knowing how to respond.
She spoke far too boldly—he was completely overwhelmed.
“Charm Technique?” the Grand Elder came back to his senses at that moment. With Liu Shiyu’s help, he stood up. His face was filled with anger and fear. “Who are you?!”
To fall under a charm like that—it couldn’t be an ordinary ability.
Unless…
No—it couldn’t be. Someone from that place would never come to a small city like Xingyu City.
“Who told you to stand up? Kneel!”
The red glow reappeared in her eyes. Even though the Grand Elder was already on guard, he still couldn’t resist. With another thud, he dropped to his knees once more.
The guests and the Liu family looked at her with growing fear in their eyes.
None of them knew how she attacked—or how to stop her.
The woman turned again, her bright eyes fixed on Xia Feng. With a charming smile, she said, “It’s that old man’s fault for bullying you, husband. I got too angry and forgot to introduce myself. Let’s meet properly now. My name is Yu Siya, and I come from the Heavenly Fox Holy Land.”
