After Descending the Mountain, Seven Big Brothers Spoil Me

Chapter 1157: My Grandpa's Heart is Really Black

"How are we supposed to compete in this formation?" Yin Hua asked.

Zhouzhou replied, "It's simple. We'll each set up a formation and try to break the other's. Whoever does it faster wins. How about that?"

Yin Hua nodded. "We'll do it your way."

"Then let's begin. You can choose the location," Zhouzhou said.

"No need, right here is fine," Yin Hua said, standing with his hands clasped behind his back, speaking calmly.

Zhouzhou shrugged and got to work.

Before long, she said, "Alright."

Yin Hua glanced at it, his brows immediately furrowing. "Are you joking with me?"

The formation was made entirely of stones, and there weren't many of them at that. Was there even a need to break the formation? Not even an ant would be trapped by it.

The positive impression he'd had earlier from her drawing the symbols was now gone.

Yin Hua looked at Zhouzhou coldly, his face showing displeasure.

Zhouzhou, seeing this, smiled and said, "The so-called greatest truths are the simplest. The simpler it looks, the harder it is. Master Yin, why not try it first before you judge?"

Yin Shuo eagerly nodded beside them. "That's right, that's right. The formation Zhouzhou set up may look simple, but actually..."

He couldn't understand how she did it either.

Zhouzhou sighed inwardly. She couldn't help it; growing up poor, she was used to being frugal. Even for a few stones, she would try to save where she could.

But the main reason was that, during her missions, time was always tight, and every second could change the outcome. She had to make things as simple as possible.

This formation, which she had modified multiple times, was the simplest yet also the most dangerous.

She reminded him out of respect, "This formation is pretty fierce, so be careful."

Yin Hua scowled, not wanting to speak, already on the verge of rolling his eyes. These few stones couldn't possibly be dangerous.

He didn't bother saying more and continued setting up his formation.

Zhouzhou added, "Don't think my simple formation means I want yours to be simple. I want the hardest one!"

Yin Hua didn't even look up. "Don't worry."

Since it was a competition, they would go all out.

The kind of formation, and its difficulty, were up to each person to choose.

She set hers up simple, but that wouldn't stop him from setting up the hardest one.

Hearing this, Zhouzhou sighed in relief. Now she could look forward to it, ready to have some fun.

Thinking she was just pretending, Yin Hua didn't say much and waited for the chance to teach her a lesson.

Young people, always too full of themselves.

Coincidentally, Li Yuanming thought the same way.

Hmph, the older you get, the more you overthink.

He snorted and thought to himself, "I'll make Zhouzhou teach him a lesson!"

"Alright," Yin Hua said, finally stopping after about ten minutes.

He had used a lot of materials, and from the outside, no one could tell what kind of formation he'd set up. But inside, dark winds swirled, which didn't look like a good formation.

Yin Shuo looked at it, his expression changing, and stood up quickly, his eyes showing concern. This was the formation his grandfather kept hidden away, one that no one had been able to break before.

He'd even tried it himself at home once and nearly lost his life.

This formation was filled with dangers, everywhere a potential deathtrap.

His grandfather had really gone all out!

Panting heavily, Yin Shuo turned to Zhouzhou. "Zhouzhou, be careful."

He then asked Li Yuanming, "Master, should we call 120?"

Li Yuanming looked at him, puzzled. "What for?"

Yin Shuo said seriously, "We should call an ambulance for Zhouzhou. You don't understand how fierce this formation is. Once she enters, it's a life-or-death situation. We should call now, and when she gets hurt, they'll be right there to take her to the hospital."

Li Yuanming's face darkened immediately. "Cut it out! Stop badmouthing Zhouzhou. She'll be fine."

"That's because you don't know how black-hearted my grandfather is. This formation is even darker!"

As soon as he said this, the whole place went silent.

Yin Hua turned sharply to face him, his eyes heavy with intent.

The butler covered his face, unable to bear the sight.

Oh, his silly Young Master, what was he saying?

How could he say such a thing? And in front of the Master, too!

Yin Shuo quickly realized his mistake, his neck stiffening. He awkwardly shrank back and looked at Yin Hua with a pleading gaze.

Yin Hua snorted coldly, glaring at him. He then turned to Zhouzhou. "He's right. This formation is indeed dangerous. If you're scared, you should leave now before you get hurt."

Zhouzhou blinked, then said, "It's fine, I like challenges."

Yin Hua threw his sleeves. "Suit yourself."

He had said all that needed to be said.

If anything happened, he'd just rescue her when she was in danger.

They switched places and stood in front of each other's formations.

Without hesitation, Zhouzhou stepped forward and entered Yin Hua's formation.

Almost as soon as she entered, numerous gusts of wind rushed toward her, sharp and piercing. While not necessarily deadly, they could certainly make holes in her body.

As expected, it was dangerous.

Zhouzhou's eyes lit up. Finally, she could have some real fun!

No wonder Master Yin had some skills.

She quickly drew out her Peachwood Sword and slashed through the winds. She then moved swiftly in another direction.

Li Yuanming and the others, standing outside, couldn't see her at all.

Yin Shuo was in a panic, pulling out his phone to dial 120, while Li Yuanming didn't stop him. He knew Yin Shuo wouldn't be able to finish the call anyway.

Just as he was thinking this, the atmosphere in the courtyard shifted, and Zhouzhou's figure appeared in front of them.

Yin Shuo, who was still on the phone, suddenly felt someone nudge his arm. He absentmindedly looked up, and the next moment, he froze in place.

The person on the other end of the phone asked, "Hello, what's your emergency?"

Yin Shuo: "..."

It took him a while to react. He quickly said, "Never mind, never mind. Sorry to bother you."

He hastily hung up the phone and rushed to Zhouzhou, astonished. "You broke the formation?"

Zhouzhou nodded. "Yep, I did."

Yin Shuo stared at her blankly, murmuring, "My grandfather's formation is really tough."

Zhouzhou agreed. "It's really tough. Normally, I can break a formation in a minute, but this one took a minute and a half."

She sighed and shook her head, looking somewhat dissatisfied.

Yin Shuo: "..."

Is she even human? They had all struggled for years to break that formation, and she did it in a minute and a half, and still wasn't satisfied? How were they supposed to live?

What about Grandpa?

Thinking of Yin Hua, Yin Shuo quickly looked in another direction.

The next moment, his expression changed drastically...
