After Being Reborn, I Refuse To Be The Holy Son Of The Sect Anymore

Chapter 105:

Chapter 105:

Xiao Yang finally vented his pent-up anger today.

In his previous life, Qin Fei had caused him unimaginable misery. Everything that rightfully belonged to him was taken away. Worse, he was framed for colluding with remnants of the Demon Sect, condemned by everyone, and eventually killed by Qin Fei with a sword through his heart.

Qin Fei even went as far as breaking the seal on the Abyss of Demons, releasing true demons into the world. From that moment on, humanity became slaves to the demon race.

Not just the Northern Territory but the entire Yuanwu Continent was plunged into a living hell.

The land was filled with devastation and despair. The entire world entered its darkest era.

And the root cause of it all was Qin Fei.

Now reborn, Xiao Yang swore that if he didn’t utterly destroy Qin Fei, he would be letting down the countless innocent people who had perished because of him in his previous life.

“Boom!”

At that moment, the door to the house suddenly swung open, and Qin Fei crawled out.

But before he could escape, the two Demon Sect disciples, already afflicted by the Yin-Yang Bliss Poison, grabbed his legs and began dragging him back inside.

“No!”

Qin Fei clung desperately to the doorframe with both hands.

“Senior Brother… Senior Brother, save me! I was wrong! If you let me go, I promise I’ll stay far away from Senior Sister. I’ll never go near her again… I swear!”

Qin Fei was utterly terrified.

Outside, Xiao Yang stood coldly, watching him.

In his previous life, Xiao Yang had also begged Qin Fei to spare his junior sister, to spare the Azure Sun Sword Sect, and to spare the Xiao family. But Qin Fei had only mocked him for his weakness. He set the Xiao family estate ablaze, killing Xiao Yang’s parents in the flames.

Xiao Yang’s younger sister, Xiao Yue, was sold to a brothel. She had knelt before Qin Fei, begging him for mercy until her forehead was bruised and bloodied, but Qin Fei had turned away without a hint of compassion.

Now, Qin Fei begged for mercy, but had he ever spared anyone in his previous life?

“Senior Brother… save me…”

Qin Fei’s desperate cries snapped Xiao Yang back to the present.

Xiao Yang sneered, stepped forward, and began prying Qin Fei’s fingers off the doorframe, one by one.

“No, no, no!”

With the final finger pulled free, Qin Fei let out a despairing scream as he was dragged back into the house by the two afflicted disciples.

“No… stay away from me! Don’t come near me!”

Xiao Yang watched as Qin Fei struggled and screamed, then silently closed the door.

“Ahhh!”

Soon, a blood-curdling scream echoed from inside.

“Ah, Junior Brother Qin, enjoy yourself. I’ll go find some spectators to watch this grand show.”

“I wonder what Senior Sister will think when she sees this.”

Xiao Yang chuckled, then soared into the sky, heading straight for the plaza.

How could such a marvelous scene be enjoyed alone? It deserved an audience.

Qin Fei wanted to be a hero, win favor, and build his reputation? Xiao Yang would make him a disgraceful worm in the mud.

Reaching the massive hole in the plaza once again, Xiao Yang shook his arms. Two spirit beasts emerged, leaping onto the ground—a ninth-level Ice Python on the left and a ninth-level Fire Qilin on the right.

On one side, freezing cold air spread out, leaving a layer of frost on the ground. On the other, flames burned fiercely, distorting the surrounding space with their heat.

Xiao Yang donned a mask and gave a simple command.

“Kill!”

The two ninth-level spirit beasts charged into the underground cavern through the hole, followed closely by Xiao Yang.

His goal was straightforward: rescue the captives and provide a spectacular show for everyone to see. Just imagining the scene of Qin Fei’s public humiliation filled Xiao Yang with satisfaction and vindication.

The spirit beasts had barely reached the bottom of the cavern when the spider demon, disguised as an old woman, lunged out. The Ice Python immediately unleashed a chilling breath, freezing the spider demon into an ice sculpture. The icy blast spread through the spider demon’s lair, freezing countless smaller spiders that swarmed out in response.

In one move, the Ice Python froze the entire web-covered cavern, eliminating every spider.

After burning the Fox Den earlier, Xiao Yang had now sealed the Spider Lair in ice. Two of the Blood Demon’s most trusted subordinates were defeated.

“Boom!”

The Ice Python lashed its tail, shattering the frozen spider demon into countless fragments.

Meanwhile, the bronze gate had been repaired.

“Crash!”

The Fire Qilin rammed into the gate, smashing it to pieces.

“This door was just replaced, and now it’s broken again,” the Blood Demon muttered irritably.

Li Kuang, the Blade Demon, stood by the blood pool, startled by the intrusion.

“Stick to the plan. Wake them up, then pretend to fight my nephew and let him defeat you. Once it’s done, the Blood Pill is yours,” Li Kuang instructed hastily, assuming the intruder was Qin Fei.

“Such a hassle!”

The Blood Demon waved his hand, releasing a blood mist that roused the captives suspended above the blood pool.

Jiang Ting, Lei Renjie, Yun Qianxue, and Song Qiang slowly regained consciousness.

“What’s going on…?”

“Where are we…?”

Their awakening turned to panic as they took in their surroundings—a hellish blood-red cavern. The overwhelming stench of blood nearly made them vomit.

Just then, flames and frost surged.

A fiery beast covered in crimson scales and with sharp horns, resembling a legendary Fire Qilin, stepped into the cavern. Behind it slithered a massive silver-white python, its icy glow leaving a trail of frost.

The two spirit beasts fixed their gaze on the Blood Demon and Li Kuang.

“What…?”

The Blood Demon was momentarily dumbfounded.

Li Kuang was equally confused.

The two spirit beasts stepped aside, revealing a masked figure walking calmly behind them.

“Quite the dramatic entrance,” the Blood Demon muttered, rolling his eyes at the masked figure. “It’s just an act. Was all this really necessary? And the golden dragon-patterned mask—how pretentious.”

The Blood Demon assumed the masked figure was Qin Fei, as did Li Kuang, who couldn’t fathom how Qin Fei had tamed two spirit beasts.

What they didn’t know was that the masked man wasn’t Qin Fei at all—it was Xiao Yang.

Meanwhile, Qin Fei, the supposed “hero,” was being overpowered by Li Kuang’s disciples back in the house.

The Blood Demon and Li Kuang exchanged glances.

“If you want to save them, you’ll have to get past my blade first!” Li Kuang shouted, leaping forward with his blade aimed at Xiao Yang’s head.

Sharp blade energy filled the air, sending ripples through the blood pool.

Xiao Yang sidestepped the attack and charged at Li Kuang.

The two clashed, their battle filling the cavern with dazzling flashes of light and surging energy.

Li Kuang’s strikes appeared fierce, but it was all an act. He quickly pretended to expose a flaw, deliberately holding back.

However, Xiao Yang wasn’t playing along. He struck Li Kuang’s dantian with the Heavenly Sword Finger, destroying it.

“You…”

Li Kuang was utterly shocked. He had assumed the intruder was Qin Fei and thought they were acting out a staged battle. His carelessness had cost him his cultivation.

Xiao Yang kicked Li Kuang into the air.

“Boom!”

Li Kuang slammed into the stone wall before falling into the blood pool with a splash.

“Wait… that wasn’t acting?”

The Blood Demon was stunned, finally realizing that this fight was real.
