A QUEST FOR REVENGE

'Uhm, I would just go now '. Rhea tried to leave. She had just gotten to her room's door when she was pulled. Aaron pinned her against the wall, 'Trying to run huh?', Rhea sighed. 'I am not running, now let me go'. Aaron chuckled, 'Alright, but we need to talk'. Rhea nodded, 'okay go on'.

'No, not here buttercup. Let's talk in the garden. As you can see, an old man is spying on us and trying to listen to our conversation '. Rhea finally saw the old man where he was hiding. The old man, seeing that he had been caught laughed awkwardly. 'My bad, I will leave you two alone ', the old man ran away. 'I still think we should go to the garden to talk ', Aaron dragged Rhea away.

Nanny rose patted Mr Harvey in his new hiding spot, 'stop stretching your neck so much, they've gone to the garden'. The old man was disappointed, 'Oh'.

Aaron sat across Rhea and watched as she slowly sipped her coffee. 'What do you wanna talk about Mr Aaron?'.

'Why did you decide to marry a stranger?', Aaron asked Rhea. 'I didn't agree at first but then, I realized that I had nothing to loose '. Aaron studied her expression for a bit. He knew all about her encounter with the old man but since she is saying all these by herself then, he would just try to believe her. 'What about you Mr Aaron, why did you agree to this marriage ', Aaron chuckled. 'Same reason as yours. But I must say buttercup, you have a lot of guts to have agree so easily. What if it was a bald and ugly man, you are really lucky '. Rhea felt like she just heard the biggest joke ever. 'How are you different from a bald and ugly man? You are not any better '. Aaron's face turned sour, 'I can't believe you would say something like that. I am very Handsome and rich okay? I am really offended you know '. Now it was Rhea's turn to chuckle, he was acting so childish. 'Anyway, let's try to make this marriage work ', Aaron stretched his hand. Rhea hesitated for a bit and shook his hand as well. 'Let's make this work'.

***(Alexander's Mansion)

'Madam, I heard your sister Sofia was hosting a party to celebrate her wedding with Liam. No offense but she is really shameless to be able to celebrate after committing murder. It's just a pity though that you didn't die, she would have been brought to Justice ', Levi was talking to Isabelle in the living room while Alex reviewed some documents. 'You are right Levi, she really is shameless ', Isabelle almost facepalmed herself. She had been forgetting the reason why she was alive. She didn't even have any plans for revenge. 'Tell me Levi, what do you think is the best reason for me to sabotage that party?', Levi chuckled. He didn't think his madam was capable of doing that. ' madam, are you really going to sabotage the party? That's good but I don't think I have any ideas on how to do that '. Isabelle sighed, Alex was getting annoyed with the both of them. 'So she prefers Levi to give her advice huh?', Isabelle turned to Alex for help but he pretended to be oblivious to what they were saying, Isabelle thought he was busy and didn't ask him.

Sofia was pacing about in a room waiting for someone. Soon, there was a knock on the door and Sofia went to open it, a maid came in. 'Ma'am, the Master has gone out and I have called the person you asked me to call. They still haven't found your sister ', Sofia threw all the items on her table away. 'Don't ever call her my sister! She is not my sister, she was the one who made my life a living hell and now, I am suffering all because of her!!'. Sofia had the maid's arm and shook her violently, 'Let me tell you this, Rhea is not my real sister. She is a nobody. My dad had rescued her from her dying mother and helped her because I had a weak heart, do you hear me?!'. The maid nodded in fear, she was afraid of Sofia's behavior. ' So you are saying that miss Rhea is not your sister? Why are you looking for her then?', Sofia let go of the maid's arm. ' I am looking for her so that I can destroy her. If she tells anyone about what I have done to her then it's all over. Agatha, listen to me, tell that person to keep searching for her. Also, make sure to call everyone on the list for the party '. Agatha nodded and left. 'I need to have the heart transplant soon'.

***( Alex's Mansion)

'Mr Alex, Mr Alex, are you done with your work? I need your help '. Alex heard Isabelle's voice and immediately took back the documents he had finished reviewing.'Mr Alex, I thought that you'd be done by now '. Alex ignored Isabelle. It took Isabelle a few minutes before realizing what has happened. 'Oh, I see. It's because I asked Levi for advice. What should I call this though, jealousy?', Isabelle thought to herself. She went close to Alex and spoke, 'Listen Mr Alex. You are the cause of all these you know. If you aren't so cold then I won't have to ask Levi for help but now, I have realized my mistake and I will never repeat it ever again your highness '. Isabelle bowed dramatically and Alex finally looked up at her. 'This damned woman, does she think this is a joke?', Alex turned his wheelchair and was about to leave but Isabelle grabbed his hands. 'Please don't go Mr Alex, I really need your help ', Alex was dumbfounded for a while. He didn't hear as Isabelle kept talking,' Mr Alex? Are you listening '. Alex finally snapped out of his thoughts,' yes Rhea? What did you say?'. Isabelle noticed Alex's behavior but didn't say anything. 'I have a plan on how to sabotage that party but you have to help me with the plan '. Alex agreed to help her and she explained the plan in details to him. 'If that's all Mr Alex, I am going to bed'.

'Wait! Before you go to bed, let me say a few things. First, why do you keep calling me 'Mr Alex'? We agreed to not address each other formally right?'. Isabelle scratched her head, it was really hard to call him by his name.

'Alright Alex, I will try as much as possible to not address you formally. Happy?'. Alex nodded,' one more thing Rhea, someone is coming tomorrow. She will stay here for a few days '. Isabelle became slightly nervous but she nodded in agreement.

Isabelle tossed and turned in bed before she could finally sleep. 'Who is the person?'

***THE NEXT MORNING

'Good morning madam, how was your night?'. Levi asked a nervous Isabelle who was pacing about the kitchen. 'You know madam, person that's coming doesn't like extravagant arrangements. Just be yourself ', Isabelle finally calmed a bit.

Alex came into the living room and saw all the preparations Isabelle has made. He sighed, 'I hope she won't have a problem with this '. Isabelle looked at all the decorations again and sighed in relief. They all sat down to eat breakfast and not long after, the sound of a car was heard, all the maid's in the house came out to welcome the mysterious person, 'welcome Madame!'. Isabelle also stood up and soon , sounds of footsteps also got closer and a woman came in. 'Long time no see my son'. Alex bowed a bit, 'Welcome mother. Rhea, this is your mother in-law '. Isabelle was confused, 'Mother in law?'.
