Chapter 322: Joy enters the dream bubble
I am confident that more talented individuals will emerge and become part of this alliance.
That is why this inauguration is being held," Lein continued, steering his speech toward the main event.
Lein revealed that he had personally chosen Joy and Grace to become core members. This decision was part of his vision to build a strong network with many talented individuals. Although his position as Guardian now granted him absolute power, he remained committed to his mission of strengthening the World Market Trade Alliance.
He planned to establish twelve core members as the pillars safeguarding the Divine Sky Realm.
"Thank you, everyone. May you always be blessed by the Goddess of Blessings," Lein concluded his speech with a hopeful smile. A wave of applause immediately filled the room.
The speech not only touched hearts but also made the attendees realize something important. Lein's message was clear: they could not rely entirely on him. Each individual had to grow and become strong to survive in this world.
"Thank you, Mr. Lein, for such a heartfelt speech!" the moderator exclaimed enthusiastically.
He gave a brief bow of respect before continuing, "Alright, we will now proceed to the main event, the inauguration of the new core members of the World Market Trade Alliance!"
The moderator then introduced the figure who would lead the inauguration. "This event will be led by Princess Nita," he said excitedly, inviting Nita to take the stage.
Nita had been prepared from the start. She rose gracefully from her seat and walked toward the center of the stage. Her presence exuded stunning confidence, momentarily silencing the entire room.
"Princess Nita..." someone in the audience whispered.
"So beautiful..." another murmured, unable to hide their admiration.
A few comments from the attendees echoed throughout the hall. While they admired Lein as the ruler of the Divine Sky Realm, Nita, as Lein's younger sister, held a special place in their hearts. In this realm, Nita was the only family Lein had, making her an invaluable figure.
With a genuine smile, Nita waved to the audience, responding to their enthusiasm. "Thank you, thank you..." she said in a soft voice that radiated joy. Her every movement exuded warmth, further enhancing the comfortable atmosphere.
"Alright, I ask everyone to settle down. We will now begin the event," Nita said. Her voice was calm but resonated throughout the hall, compelling everyone to stop their conversations. In an instant, the room fell silent.
All attention was focused on the stage. Most of the attendees began glancing at Grace and Joy, who now sat with nervous expressions. They exchanged anxious looks, trying to calm each other.
"Alright, let us begin," said Nita softly as she started the event. She looked directly at Grace and Joy, then added warmly, "Please..."
Grace and Joy immediately stood from their seats. Their steps felt awkward as they walked toward the center of the stage, where Nita was waiting. The nervous expressions on their faces were unmistakable.
"What's wrong with me? I've never been this nervous before," Grace thought to herself. She noticed her trembling fingertips, with a fine layer of sweat beginning to coat her palms. Reflexively, her gaze shifted sideways, observing Joy, who appeared no better off than her.
Joy was staring anxiously at the floor, his lips tightly shut. "Joy, are you alright?" Grace finally asked, trying to ensure his friend was okay.
"Ah... yes, I'm fine," Joy replied, though his tone was uncertain. He looked at Grace briefly, then added, "It's just... I feel like something is strange. It's as if something has changed within me," He said while shaking his head slightly, confusion evident on his face.
Unbeknownst to them, their steps had brought them into an invisible bubble surrounding the stage. The atmosphere subtly shifted, but neither Grace, Joy, nor anyone else in the vicinity noticed it.
In the central seat on the stage, Lein sat calmly. A small smile graced his lips as he manipulated the element of dreams to form invisible bubbles around Grace and Joy. The entire main hall was now completely enveloped in a massive dream bubble created by Lein.
Lein carefully adjusted the bubble, ensuring that time outside the hall came to a halt. As Grace and Joy ventured deeper into the smaller bubbles, Lein separated them into two different spaces.
Glancing briefly toward the stage, he murmured with a curious tone, "Let's see..."
Inside one of the bubbles, Joy found herself standing atop a towering mountain peak. Strong winds whipped through his hair and clothing.
HIs gaze turned forward, where a vast valley stretched below, adorned with a dense, mysterious forest. The surroundings were silent, with only the sound of the wind breaking the stillness.
Far ahead, the blue sky stretched out in breathtaking beauty. Soft white clouds drifted lazily, decorating the horizon like a living painting. The scene seemed to caress the soul of anyone who beheld it.
"So beautiful..." Joy murmured, his eyes sparkling with awe. He was certain she had never seen a place as magnificent as this before. The view was so extraordinary, it felt like it existed only in dreams.
Suddenly, Joy felt a mild pain in his head. He massaged his temples, trying to recall something.
"Wasn't I at the inauguration ceremony?" he said, confused. His expression shifted, and his eyes began searching his surroundings for answers.
"Where am I?" he whispered. He turned around, trying to gather more clues. However, as he turned, his gaze immediately locked onto the figure of a young man standing casually atop a flying sword.
"Lord Lein?" Joy said in disbelief. He blinked several times as if to confirm what he was seeing.
"Wasn't I just in the inauguration hall?" he muttered again, now with a slightly cheerful tone upon recognizing the figure before him. Find more to read at empire
"Yes, you are now in my dream," Lein replied calmly, making no effort to hide anything.
"What?" Joy was startled, his voice echoing. "When did I enter your dream, Lord?" he asked again, his confusion evident on his face.
